Freaking Eerie

First I got a prankster from my mobile, now I got another from the internet, what is the world coming to? This person's email is newcau@gmail.com, unverified in MSN somemore.
This person claimed that she was Eve, but she couldn't tell me the correct Eve, that is where I knew her, giving an ambiguous answer "aha u stil same, i m the 1 u know lesser". I suspected she's a he, my 6th sense. Who in the right mind wants to keep seeing me in my webcam especially my frens, since they alrerady know how I looked like. She insisted that I treat her as a new fren for 2007, yeah yeah, as if I will. She refused to tell me anything, and yet insisted I showed her my face and she even asked me about my sch, course and year. Highly dubious character.
After haggling with her for 30 minutes, I blocked her and logged off, shan't waste my time with such person. Oh yah, she said she got my email address from some other emails. So, she's not my fren and I don't want a fren who is so secretive! The world is going crazy!

Incredulous

I tot my PC auto shut down due to over heatiness, but it could not be switch on!!!!! What a timing to shut down (was MSNing with Di over something unglam, can't even defend myself anf explain to her liao). I panicked, coz this PC is only a year old, it can't be spoilt! Was pressing the switch on button in finger marathon style, still not working. Damn... can't be true? Spoilt? Horror!
Luckily, the tech side of me prompted me to do some fiddling with the other devices. I tested my speakers, eh, also cannot switched on... ah... power got problem... not the PC, thank goodness. After some seeing and looking, I saw the main plug was not fully inserted into the outlet. This is the incredulous part, who could have remove it halfway? None of us touch the plugs there, even if we do, surely we would have push the plug in firmly?
Ewww... I almost wanted to sms my fren Ken (the guy who did my PC) that it was spoilt, heng, I was just a step to sia suay myself.

My scary neighbour

Finally, after 2 days of horrendous rain, I finally could log to blogger.com.
Anyway, about my scary neighbour, indeed scary.
She's so scary that I dreamt about her, about wat leh?
Well, let's start from the beginning, she just gave birth about a month ago (her baby was premature), and my mum helped her with her confinement. Basically, she's a woman with no sense of security, with too much paranoids and no sense of independence. She wanted my mum to cook for her, look after her baby, help her buy phone card, help her buy this and that. She got Jia to do ALL the paperwork, got Min to run errands at her house such as fetching a cup of water (wat the fuck!), and I was spared coz I was at hostel. I only knew about all these when I got home after my exams. Anyway, we resort to remove the batteries from the door bell, shut the door 24/7, lie to her that my mum wasn't back when she was.
That day, I bumped into her on my way back after buying Min's textbook, SUAY! She "requested" me to help her carry her ultra-super-duper-humongous baby trolley (it could fit a year old child and her child is only like 1 month plus old?) down the stairs. She was actually troubling the 6th floor auntie when she saw me. Anyway, I hou xim took her trolley down to her house, and quickly siamed back to my house. A while later, she came knocking on our door, looking for ME. Why? She wanted me to help her buy a foldable clothes hanger, IF I were to pass by the shop (like real, duhz). So I told her I've been nuaing at home, not going anywhere. I always talked to her with my face expressionless, and giving her some attitudes. Then she said she gonna drop her baby by at our house for my mum to look after while she go for job interview. As if I believe her, she did not work for 7 years and she's only 1 year my senior, and she always talked about working working working, but she's so lazy tat she did not even clean her own house, even tho it is rented, so how could she possibly be thinking of working?
Anyway, my dream was about her putting her baby with us, while she went havocing. I'm so stressed by her frequent visitings, ha ha. In my dream, the baby was the baby in Jackie Chan's Plan Baby, sho cute. Ha ha, anyway, taking care of the bay wasn't a difficult chore, the most amusing part was I dreamt that Jia was helping the baby do 十连拍, holding his mitten covered hands, placing it near the cheeks, and started "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10". Hee hee hee, my beloved baby. Pardon for the blurry pic, I did it in 216 x 1365 pixels, then I didn't expect it to be so small when I chose the largest layout, but still can see right? I forgo the 10th coz it wasn't very nice lah... =)

Results out this morning. Thank goodness, I failed 1 module only...

Engineers

What do engineers remind u of?
  • boring?
  • tech geek?
  • maths genius?
  • spew mathematics formulas better than vulgarities?
  • nerd in specs and carry thick maths book?
  • no social life and sucky dress sense?

The above do not really apply to all but I do seen a few with the above qualities. I remembered this Cheena guy from my poly in the ECC course who wore his shirt tucked in tightly into his pants, and try to pick up girls with his half-bucket English (Lo and behold, he spoke perfect French with the French tutor, seriously tainting the language hor...) Luckily in my school now, most of them are decently dressed, basically, the polo tee, jeans and sandals are hot favourite (Eh... Uniform? Ha ha). I can explain why most of us wore specs instead of contact lens, coz we need to solve very hard maths questions, thus less sleep for us and therefore we cannot wear lenses with dry eyes. I had a hell time solving the tutorial questions, 1 question about an hour or so.

Our professors had been through the tedious and boring stuffs themselves, so some really nice one made an effort finding jokes and placed them in the lecture notes, or cracked jokes during the lessons. The jokes during lessons I can't remember much coz most of the time I was dozing, hee hee, and those in the notes, not much also lah. *Weak laugh... Anyway, just wanna share some funny engineering/scientist/mathematicians jokes. =)

Merry X'mas

Serious lag in my entries, coz been playing my games (got part 1 2 and 3)

Supposed to have my annual hiao hiao pic taking day with Diyumi, but I was feeling unwell (eat too much then pong hong), so I dun feel like dressing up and loiter at Orchard. So I wore how I usually wore in hostel and visit Yaya, lucky Ivy also dressed down like me. (We fix another day Babe!)
I have like so many gatherings to fix!!! Argh... LH, DL, Di, Poly gang, Sec Gang, Uni gang and on top of all these, I have meetings, book wrappings, buy books, clear room, etc etc... so many things to do, yet I only fixed on my games (finishing soon)
Is also time for new year's resolutions too, havent plan mine yet. =(

Ewww...

Got this guy, B who had been smsing me the past few days. At first tot he was M's friend, so I tot I just be polite and entertain him, actually find him very irritating. It was obvious his English was so-so, yet still wanna "show" his veli powderful language, switched to Mandarin and he would switch back to improper English. A very pushy guy. He said he studied in Australia before blah blah blah. Anyway, he called me without telling he would be calling me, this is one rude move for someone I never met b4. M (online fren) knew this weird rule of mine, ie u must let me know u r calling me b4 u call me, and he did tell me he would let his friends know if he ever pass my number to them. So far, I had 2 of M's friends' number, this B just msg me out of the blue. I asked M just now, turned out M did not know him at all! Damn, smsed him to stop disturbing me or I would report police, ewww... Kanasai!
Yul has brains and brawns, I want to join his fan club!!! But dun have leh... HIs birthdate is on Valentine's Day... ah... so "lo-man-tic"!

Was watching the Survivor just now, really peifu how he react to the game. Instead of using the finder to locate the arrow, he just spot the location through the cannon ball hole release. He was telling his teammates how he could spot the bount when he was hushed by the rest. Ke ke ke... Raro was leading first, in the end Aitu won. Yeah!!!

Good to be back home. =) My right leg is still aching from the matches (my style was to bend down and throw, so my leg ache instead of my arm, =D)

We made it to the semi-finals!

Making it to the semi finals was already a bonus, for we had only wanted to make it for 2 points, but semi-final secure us a 3 points! For the past years, we only had 1 point.
First opponent team, we won them 3-2, and I was one of the winning board, thank god coz my opponent was strong, and my first win was really lucky. There was a miscalculation of my scores, and after I corrected the umpire, I myself went to aim at the wrong scores, 20, which means double-10. I should aim double-15, and heng heng, 10 and 15 are just beside each other, so while I aimed at 10, my dart hit on 15, and heng I didn't pluck my dart too soon, and it took me a while to realise I won. Ha ha, opponent's face damn black coz I was trailing a lot behind her. Then she won the second game and I won the third, with a double-1 I think. The second team won us in a very disgusting way, coz the opponents was really bad, especially mine. I again, was the deciding factor for winning and losing coz my game was slow. My opponent, seriously, did not deserve the win, coz she anyhow throw, but then let her throw 出 一 个 春 天 , and I lost to her due to luck and not skill, coz it was obvious I'm better than her. Lost to her is such a disgrace, imagine I beat all the strong ones and lost to a 滥竽。Even my captain, who is her friend, said she's lousy lor. Can you imagine losing to someone who anyhow played? Wah liew! Really dulan! So we need to win the last match of the day before we could enter semi.
Third game was against the strongest team of all in our group, if we can beat them, we are secured to semi-final. My opponent was strong, better than me. But I beat her hands down with a 2-1, which was very good considering one of my dart spoilt. Wanted to win her 3-0, but she checked out while I was still deciding my checkout number. Seriously, if she had been composed during the sally-game, in game 1, she would have won, she couldn't hit the number 20, but hit on 5 and 1 instead (20 is between these 2 numbers), and I had 33 (19, 2 2). Phew!
During semi, we were against the strongest hall from the other group, they won every match lor. My game was totally disgusting with a disgusting umpire. My opponenet was already checking out, and I had not even checked in yet. She's too good, I couldn't catch up with her. She won the first 2 games, securing one board, I think she anyhow played the last game, thus I won. But that stupid umpire didn't see my checkout and was talking, I said, "I don't care, I won liao". The umpire needs one more spec. Then, it was a showdown, coz we both had 2 winning boards, in the end, opponenet team won and that guy shouted very loudly, "Checked!" and his whole team cheered!
We were the underdogs, and seriously, opponent team was scared that we would win, coz that meant the end of their overall champion. Anyway, we are very happy we made it to semi-final, for we had just wanted to score a 2 points. Scoring 3 is a very good bonus, and we were given the dart sets we had, all I need is a dart board now. Ha ha ha.
Ex-captain smsed me just now, he said, "Congrats in making it to the semi-finals! You guys are fantastic man.. finally got that elusive 3 points! could have been more, but this is already a great step forward :) Siqi, you're really at that level! How come you din show that when I was still around??? hah, anyway, really proud of you :)"
I'm proud of myself too. =)

A good start!

We had a good head start, winning the first 2 rounds. Could have win in round 3, but I lost (I was the deciding board). In round 3, both opponent team and us won 2 boards each, and I was playing the last game. Both the opponent and I had won 1 game each already. It was a close fight. I could have won the first game, coz both of us were down to 2 points, and time was up. If only I didn't become overconfident, we would have a sally-match, which was to see who threw the most points and I would have win her coz her darts were flying everywhere. Never mind, we won the last match of the day, beating the opponent flat by winning all 5 rounds. I thrashed the captain, wah ha ha ha. Had a double-1 showdown with her. Thankfully, in the last 9 throws, I checked out in just by first throw, thus winning her. Phew...
Today I was in good form... Won 2 matches lost 2 matches. Every match I had a double-1 checkout, which sort of help me to lose with honour for the losing matches, and also the crucial match to help me win. Double-1 is our "good fren", and today I kept por bee the surrounding with my 3 darts. Ha ha ha.
Tmr will be better! We need 2 more matches to be in semi-final! A breakthrough for darts team in the last 5 years!

Tyko luck for darts!!!

Either I am in super top form, else I am in super good luck streak. Darts training went well beyond words, I managed to clear my "around the world" within 2 hrs including break, which was already very good considering I was hitting the double region instead of the usual single region. Furthermore, my triple tyko today was too good, there was 3 darts at 3 seperate triple region, scoring a total of 97 points (3, 7 and 19) at one go. Woah! Triple 16 was one of my frequent area too! I scored a beautiful checkout of double 2 and double 19 in one set of game, winning beautifully. Shiok shiok shiok. I had the most triple-shoots for today. Hopefully I'm in this best form later at 1pm (1st match against hall 14). I CAN DO IT!!! Jesher kor kor said if we can fight into semi, he will massage for us free. Ha ha ha ha.
It has been raining for 2 days straight... sianz...
I weighed myself today, I'm very near to 75kg liao, woosh! Sleeping a lot helped coz it made me eat less. Ha ha ha. My face looks kinda sharp now... wah ha ha, the dimple resurface already! Hee hee hee hee. I just need to get rid of my spare tires.. but rain until like that, how to jog?

Birthday gift

Received my x'mas voucher not too long ago from Party World, now they just sent me my birthday gift. There are 2 vouchers for their rooms and cake, one free dish for catering above $500 and one voucher for cakes at Jack's Place. Hee hee... Shiok... Stupid Kbox never do the same thing... I think I'll only use the room one lor... ah.. Bliss

Vices: Drink and Smoke

Seems like youngsters (under legal age) nowadays like to "announce" to everyone they know that they smoke and drink as if it's a very hype thing to do. First was my cousin, whom did it for the very first time due to some r/s problems. Talked to her today and thankfully, she told me it was only that one time she did that. Anyway, I told her my fearful dream of her becoming a habit smoker and she smoked until her teeth become black. Ha ha. We just kinda laughed it off. Used to loath her when she was younger, now we can chat everything under the sun and stars. =)
Oh, then I saw one of my friend's nick saying she feel like smoking, but she's not a smoker yet passive. Er... Is she saying she's a passive smoker which is also means a social smoker, someone who smokes when people offer ciggie but usually doesn't buy ciggie to smoke?(I just realised passive smokers means 2nd hand smokers, which makes me one of them. lol) I think it is very the “叼”,you sad just say you sad lor, why say u feel like smoking... or drinking...
Personally, I have nothing against these 2 vices, coz I tried b4 also. Drinking is normal, coz I think you have to drink no matter where... and drinking some alcohol is good for health actually. As for smoking, it's a total no-no for me, I used to loathe smokers a lot, till I got into poly, I learnt to endure. At least some are polite enough not to smoke in front of us (non smokers). I had my first puff of ciggie sometime last year, eh... I don't know how to suck and inhale it, it was stuck in my mouth and then I puffed it out, so strictly speaking, my lungs is still clean just that my mouth is no more virgin lah. Ha ha... I think smoking spoil your taste buds, coz it somehow make my mouth numb numb tat time.
I am so astounded by Bryan Wong, he is so damn good with art. Being an Aquarius like him, how come I don't have art flair like him? (except when I was in primary school). LOL. Anyway, I've been helping my mum to cook these few days coz she is unwell. Wah ha ha.. cooking reminds me one of my 风光事 again, can't remember if I said before. There was this Aijinomoto cooking competition which I took part when I was in poly, together with PZ, and we won the 2nd runner up. Woah! Hehe... machiam I very good like that. It was a creative cooking competition, and only students under the age of 18 could take part. There was a total of about 10 teams, if I remembered correctly, and only 4 teams were age 15 and above. So it's not surprising that the young young kids lost coz they couldn't handle the wok properly and the competition was only like 30minutes? PZ and me did something that didn't require much cooking, and I think it was during the World Cup fever, so we did... Soccer Sushi! Pz even did a goal post and flags somemore, got Japan, Uraguay, Brazil and ... Can't remember. Heh heh. We didn't think we would have won, coz we thought our dish was too simple while the rest were like so cheem cheem to cook. There was this team of fellow NYPians from SHS which came up with pretty cheena name and dish, dunno wat dragon and phoenix, but they couldn't finish on time leh. Anyway, we stood pretty far away to see the prize presentation. Imagine how dumbfounded we were when they announce our team name, which was Frenz4Eva, so cheesy hor? They had to wait for us to squeeze past all the parents. Well, we walked away with a prize plate and a rice cooker each, which mum said is going to be my dowdry when I get married. Ha ha ha... Dig the pics out when I remember, lol.
Haiz... Fond memories... Feel old again...

Malaysia X'mas trip is cancelled.

Sad... We were so hyper over this trip, now it has to ben cancelled coz Ivy canot join us... Also good la... Can go work and earn some pocket money.

Finally finished my game, and now I'm all ready for the part 2. Woah!

Pretty outside, Ugly Inside

I don't mind your son's leg keep knocking me;

Had an unpleasant train ride today. I was resting (with my eyes shut), sitting at the corner's double seats. An Indian lady sat beside me at Orchard station, then she got her son, who seems like 12 year old, to sit on her lap! I was on her left side, and her son was sitting on her left lap, so for sure, her son's long and flabby leg was brushing and knocking on mine. I shifted a bit. The son sensed my discomfort and stood up, and the IL ordered him, "Sit lah, what you doing?" The scene repeated a few times. The son would stand up when I fidgeted, and she would order him to sit back again.
Not only this, her bag was being squeezed out of her arm becoz of her son and therefore the bag was squeezed into my area. Duhz... She did not have the brain to get her son hold for her. And while reading the map, her hands hit me a few times... I was damn dulan, wanted to tell her, but since she was alighting in just another 2 stops, I endured...
She did not have a sense of privacy space; she did not have the nerves for feelings; she did not have the brain to say sorry to me and yet make it as if it was my faullt. I hope the father gave her a scolding coz from his view, he could see I was seriously unhappy. The lady sounded so refined, she spoke perfect English, yet her mind is so narrow and stupid. She's in the wrong yet she makes it like I deserbe that treatment. Duhz! From the corner of my eyes (I stopped resting after she knocked me like 3 times), I could see that "Hmpf!" look. Tamade...
IF I ever encounter, I should have the brain to tell them politely, and not endure, coz it is very bad for my health! >_<

Sick

Sick today... feeling very tired, stomach very weird, throat very dry and coarse, fingers burning, whole body feeling feverish, eyes machiam in hot water...
I blame the Pringles I gobbled over the week;
I blame my fren's Mac fries (I had history of eating Mac and got sick the very next day);
I blame my greediness of eating the very nice potato and luncheon meat mix fry (I cooked it);
I blame my intolerance for eating the char siew puff right after the potato (I ate an egg tart before the potato);
I blame the super hot sun between 2.30pm to 2.50pm at Queen's Street burning my whole body (Was walking from the interchange to office);
I blame the super cold aircon in SMRT;
I blame myself for not drinking more water (Mum was saying I had bad breathe yesterday at home after I fetched her, I thot it was due to long period of inactivity coz I was glued to my game)
Being sick is nice, coz U know how family cares... =) Tio meh ma si happy. Ha ha.

What do u do when you are on a train or bus?

I daydream.
Daydreaming is the next closest to what I can achieve in reality.
I daydreamed about learning fashion design and tailoring, and I made tailor clothes for BBW (Big Beautiful Women)! In my daydreams, I had a successful online shop catering for them, coz not only do I design really pretty clothes, I made sure I know each and everyone's preferences and problems, such as they prefer tight fit or loose fit; do they sweat a lot or not, so that I can choose the most comfortable material; trousers or dress suits better for them; are they changing a new look? Blah blah blah.
The day dream felt very real, although it was me who made it up (unlike night dreams which you will get funny kinds, you know), but seriously, after giving some thought, it might work out, but maybe some 10 years later when I'm sick of working, then I fly to dunno where and learn fashion and design, then come back, use my savings start own business, woah!
I'm too obsessed with Project Runway le. LOL.
I think I better think for my life now, no point thinking of the future, furthermore, I'm not a very future person, as in think so far out.
Short term goals:
  1. Jan: Lose 5kgs!
  2. Feb: Lose 5kgs
  3. Mar: Lose 5kgs!
  4. Apr: Lose 5kgs
  5. May: Lose 5kgs!

3okgs in 6 months not a lot hor? One of my favourite daydreams too. LOL, I ought to stop snacking on Pringles... if I want to lose 5kgs. -_-"

Just blogging

Today I 友情客串,act as a camera man for the publications team. Luckily I was in charge of filiming the squash, therefore all I need to do is to stand still like a camera stand and shoot. Hee hee hee hee. Alyssa had asked for my help because I put "Bored at hall" as my MSN nick. -_-"
This nick brought a few troubles for me, heh heh. People asked me out or asked for my help coz they saw the nick, yet it was already a few days late and I wasn't online to change it, therefore most of the time I rejected the invites, then they would "complain" thought I was free mah... Paiseh paiseh...
Was a bit pissed when Momoren asked me to help clear and wash the cups, but being the position Momoren is in, I felt that it's not my duty to help her even tho I was in that position before. Never mind, just help lor. Then I saw Momoren didn't clear the cake wrappers, got really pissed. Was already not very happy when we have to share room with the other game players coz they kinda took up a lot of space, but bo pian, their competition is next week. So I just had to adjust myself lor, ends up kanasai lah, my scores. Anyway, the washing of cups and clearing of cake wrappers helped to calm down my pissiness, you people know how much I like clearing and cleaning lah. Heh heh, so in the end, I wans't pissed with anything liao...
I never realised how serious my myopia was until I saw my friend only 2m away from me, but what I can see is just a rough outline of her face, I couldn't even make out her features! She looked faceless! Seriously, if at night I were to go out without my specs, I will scare myself silly with ghostly thoughts. Ha ha. Talking about ghost, the security guard really scared the shit out of me by sitting motionless in the canteen, and to increase the effect, his uniform was white lor... Duhz...
I have to move out by this Fri, eh... a bit too sudden coz I had always thought I will be staying until end of Dec, so now I think I will have be a squatter next week. If Kaye come back and pass me her room key, lagi best lah, but then hor, I don't think she was in good mood just now leh... hmm.. wait till she comes to Singapore then see how lor... Asked her about the Penang trip, she said it wasn't much fun with only 2 days... Heng I didn't tag along, didn't know it was 2 days only...
I think I'm gaining weight instead of losing... -_-'' How?!?!?!?
I did a very sia suay thing today. I subconsciously pout my lips (very pout) during my nap on the train just because I dreamt that I was joking with my friends and so I pouted. In real life, I could sense my muscles doing the pout thing coz it was aching afterwards. -_-" win... not as winning as I subconsciously doing the kissing action I did when I was in Sec. 4... So weird, I don't talk in my sleep and I don't sleepwalk, yet I do all these silly things in my nap. Kaoz...

I'm such an idiot

coz I actually wrote my own sister's name wrongly, and to have a 7 year old point out to me. -_-" Win...
Now I have to rewrite her name again and...
I FORGOT TO PRINT MY IA COMPANY'S AND CONTACT PERSON DETAILS AND THE FUCKUP SYSTEM ENDS AT 6 DEC FOR VIEWING! WHAT THE HELL!!! Don't care liao, wait till IA briefing and see how.
Elwin never fail to surprise me with his demonstrations of Amway products, which I always find it hard not to believe, certain products were already been "verified" by usage. Amway's products are good, but the prices are even better, always kenna tempt, ha ha. He was introducing me this detox program which his own father had participated, and dropped a whooping 7 kgs in 3 weeks. So tempting hor? Hmm... tot could get someone to join with me, who knows she said "detox means cannot eat, sure lose weight what!" K lor, nothing to say already... I remembered Elwin told me that only the last 3 days need to fast only. Whatever, I told him we will catch up after X'mas coz I super duper busy with hall stuffs and personal.
While I was at the coffee shop with Elwin, there were 3 burly (fat and a bit big sized actually) young guys kept looking at us, maybe I'm oversensitive, "peeking" seems to be appropriate. Either I'm too cute or Elwin was, HA HA HA. Maybe they wanna hit on him, =P

Busy week

My week is so super duper busy next week... Totally screwed up my initial planning. Duhz!
Had a K-nite with Belle, MZ, TW, Joelle, Ah Beng and his girlfriend, Ivy last night. This is the first time we saw Ivy, she is so pretty!!!!! Wah liew, Ah beng was so unlike him last night, the usual Hokkien Gua Ong was so paiseh leh, think must be because Ivy is around, try to act cool. Ha ha, but a leopard never changes its spots, he started to be more comfy towards the end already. LOL. Ivy is so demure, sweet and childlike, makes us (the other girls) so chor lor in contrast to her. LOL.
Weirdly, I didn't sing much, which was so unexpected, coz I was having this craving to sing. Oddly, I just followed them that's all. I had no idea what to sing, and I had no clue what were the songs available. Being in school for 3 weeks made a suaku out of me liao... Duhz... The only thought I had was a few love songs made me felt really forlorn, sad and moody. Wah liew... what the hell... I think I'm thinking too much already lah, ha ha ha.
My mum diao zeng 7 times just now during our mahjong session, but in the end, she wasn't the biggest winner, she was the biggest loser. LOL. I won the most at first, towards the end, left only 40 cents, my earnings. Anyway, the biggest enjoyment in playing mahjong isn't in the mahjong itself, is the fun, chat and talking cock, especially my mum, keep cracking dirty jokes. Ha ha ha. Buay tahan...
I'm playing for my hall darts, which is a bit scary leh... I was a reserve last year. This year, due to lack of participation, RL and I have to go. RL definitely will have to go for competition coz she's a strong player (she was the one who won every round out of the 5 players), but me? Diao diao diao, my standard is way too low liao. Damn stress... We are going to have 2 friendly matches next Wed and Thurs, hopefully I don't sia suay myself too much. -_-"
There was this incident happened last week which let me know that there are still kind and helpful Singaporeans. Diyumi wanted to buy some exercise books for her cousin, but the exercise books that were wrapped in a set did not have the square size she wants, but they did have it seperately sold. Being the stingy us, we asked if we buy 5, could they sell it to us at the set price, but they couldn't, weirdly. At this point, a teenage girl offered us her discount card. Wah, we were very shocked, surprised and touched. We didn't use her card in the end, but still, we were grateful for her kindness. Cutely, Diyumi thanked her, and this girl, Brenda thanked Diyumi back. Ha ha, then Brenda's friend said, "you should said 'you're welcome!', not 'thank you'." LOL, what an adorable pair of friends. This is just a small gesture, but it made our day seems much better.
Haiz... Why do good times move so fast? Exams were just over for about a week, but it seems much longer. Bleahz...

Sasxsek

Nope, this is not a typo error, what you saw is really Sasxsek.
What's this?
Well, during one of my mugging days, I got so super duper pissed with my EM waves, and out of boredom, I googgled for my name, "Siqi", to see what results I would get. I remember in the past (I am super self-obsessed with my name and this is the Nth time I search for it), I would get some yahoo results with regards to my secondary school's military band and there I would see hideous photos of myself doing a funny face, one of the Kym Ng's character during 成人杂志。
Anyway, while browsing through the millions of results, I chanced upon Sasxsek, which is an artificial (or constructed) language designed to be used as an auxiliary language which is simple to learn but powerful enough to cover the full range of human expression (source). Well, according to Sasxsek, siqi is an adjective, it has the meaning of stellar, astronomical, cosmic and starry.
SO DAMN COOL TO FIND MY NAME LINKING WITH MY FAVOURITE HOBBY AND THINGS!!! WHEEEEEEEEEET!
I also found some interesting ones:

Oversleep

Hee hee, so I didn't go and play softball. Just feel like sleeping...

Met up with Yanqi and Ivy today. Bless them, it was always fun hanging out with them, and we were planning for X'mas party at Malaysia! Yipee!


I met up Yanqi first at JP, and she was buying some clothes. Anyway, we headed to John Little after a late lunch, and at there, I tried 3 pieces of blouses, meant for Jia, coz I was telling her the blouses were nice and not auntie at all. Yanqi took the job of photographer. =)

This brown top was expandable and the sleeves aren't too tight. I think it match very well with jeans and could be a casual top and also double as office wear. I love the frills at the end of the it, kinda create a curvier me hor? Cost: $43


This purple top is absolutely lovely, I love the drape in front as it kind of hide my tummy. I almost want to buy it, ha ha. Luckily, I kept telling myself, "Don't buy, wait till you really slim down, there will be millions of clothes you could fit nicely and sexily!" Ha ha ha. Self-obsession. Ke ke ke. Cost: $33

The Lake House

It's so nice!!! I know my review came too late, but I didn't catch it when it was showing mah. My fren sent to me yesterday and I watched, I think it was rather different from Il Mare, yet they managed to capture the essence of the story. Totally love it!

I don't know if the ending was the same coz I can't remember Il Mare's ending, but I thought the ending scene of The Lake House was very familiar, like from another movie. Very deja vu.

I had a lot of pimples on my chest lately. Very irritating... There were only a few at first, and with some on the neck, but today, I realised they are going to be many mini potentials break out on the chest. Too heaty? Could be, be snacking on a lot of titbits recently, especially Sour Cream and Onion Pringles. Plus, no exercise for almost 2 months!

I'm going to play softball later, yeah!!! Sun! Sweat! Sticky! Hee hee hee!

Stuffs and friends

So weird, now that exams had ended, I actually don't have a huge urge to blog, LOL.
Anyway, I was packing my stuffs on Sunday and found a lot of junks in my room. Many of them aren't exactly useful things, but I had kept them coz 我不舍得丢. Some things, you just have to learn to give them up, and yeap, I threw them away.
Behind my door has a space, so I had my plastic drawers hiding behind the door. Together with it, were some old junkies that I had previously cleared them out the last round, but due to my laziness, I didn't throw them away. When I saw it yesterday, I feared that I would throw away things inside regretfully, thus I did another check to make sure there are things that aren't suppose to be disposed. Surprisingly, there was none, although a few of them I would have want to keep them if possible, but I realised one thing. 没有看到, 就不会想念, 也就不会记得你曾经拥有过。How ironic, when you want to keep them in the first place, is because you see them, thus you remember them. But actually, once you have them store away, they are in that place and not in your heart, thus you don't even recall.
I think this apply quite a bit to friends. You remember them because you always hang around with them, but once you went in your seperated ways, you TRY to keep in contact through whatever possible physical means. In the end, both parties just drifted apart. Rather, friends who always met by chance on the road, on the street, in the school, in the market, or chit chat once in a while online, actually survived longer than those. I think that's because we remember each other in our hearts, and not in our brains.
I had 2 close friends in primary, and also the ones whom I bothered to write mails (snail mail) to them every week. We pretty much managed to keep in touch this way (don't ask me how come I never use telephones), till the internet started got hot, everyone turned to online, we gave each other our mails, and slowly, we don't bother each other anymore. And surprisingly, the frens whom I always bumped into at Yishun interchange, and later on at YCK MRT station coz both our schools were there, even though we didn't bother to call each other up, write emails,or even go out together, we remained very close. Ironic. So did my penpal, whom we faithfully write each other letters, and we even folded them very nicely. then, after exchanging emails, all these stopped. Haiz...
Now, with MSN, it seems to get pretty convenient. Just "store" them on your list, take a look when free, asked how he/she is. Then, silence for another few months. It's weird how technologies aided out communications and yet at the same time, men no longer communicate properly.
So funny hor?
Enough of these "mushymellow" stuffs. LOL. Did manicure and pedicure today, again. Wah lau, I thought the lady was pretty good, coz I saw how she cleaned every bottle of nail varnish with the remover, to clean off the dried up bits so that the bottle can be screwed properly. VERY THE GEK KAO, so I tot she would also pay attention to my nails. She did lah, dunno what she was trying to clip off on my right middle toe. I didn't take a proper look at the nails when I was in the saloon, coz it looked quite okay to me. When I left, wah liew, I realised my left thumb wasn't filed properly. THERE WAS A HUMP! Never mind it was like that, the big wind had to make my manicure worse. If there is wind blowing at ur newly polished nails before they are very very dry, there will be bubbles. And so did my nails lor, many tiny weeny bubbles. Sianz... feel like cleaning them off now. Shall just endure for a week, then remove the polish at home. Luckily I had choose a nude colour, so it wasn't that obvious. The other lady, who is sort of the owner (her father own the shop, and he looked Dai Kor Dai), did a better job. Shall ask for her service next time.

My hair is straight now

My hair got so straight after I used the Prefers Silky Straight Shampoo. I had been combing them for the past one week, which was a taboo for curled hair, but it seems quite fine even tho I combed, maybe because I was using the shampoo and serum for curl hair. Anyway, I think the curls are gone for good now, but it doesn't really matter to me since I always tie my hair up in a bun. Plan to recurl them for CNY. =D So gonna keep the shampoo and serum, then next time I perm my hair, I won't have to buy their expensive shampoos. 250ml for $26, wah lau, damn ex. So I washed my hair once every 2 days when I was in hostel, must slowly utilise it. The serum is a much bigger bottle... so the price... er hem... but it has apple smell, very nice!
Everyone keep asking me how to plan this holiday, seriously, I don't know. I'm not the kind to make future plans, I usually take things at a time. Going abroad is out of my budget, that's why I didn't go Penang with Kaypoh Queen and Jap fren, Kumi, to visit Ex-roomie this coming Monday. Anyway, see Kaypoh Queen for 4 months already very sianz, holiday still see her meh.. ha ha ha, so scared of her nagginess. Anyway, I have my Astro week, programmers meeting for Engineering FOC 07/08, GL meeting for Hall 9 FOC 07/08 this month, will be busy still I think.
I was to give my Samsung phone to MUM coz her Motorola going to CMI le... Also good lah, can use back my Nokia which was abandoned soon after I bought it. Poor Nokia... LOL. Must transfer all pics liao... but then I think I wanna take one pic of the 3 of us inside and set as her wallpaper, hee hee hee. Dunno 3 heads can fit inside or not... LOL.
It's also time for me to catch up with old frens also, especially frens from secondary school and poly. Didn't see them for donkeys years le... Will call them sometime next week. =D
Shall go and sleep, later I have to wake up early and go market... :P

What a day!

I slept a total of 15 hours! Freak!
Then with just a cupcake, I managed to "dong" until 6pm plus and had my first real meal of the day. I wasn't really very hungry, just ate coz the meals looked irresistible, hee hee.
Was making myself useful after the cupcake. Cleared the notes piled on my table; took out those back blank pages; arrange my desk; fix the hook; take a look at magazines while clearing them away. Then online... dinner...
Kinda boring.
A few friends messaged me to go out, but I wasn't interested coz it's kinda "last minute". Furthurmore, I was clearing my stuffs (this is my hobby, hee hee) and didn't want to do halfway lah.
I had not had a coffee since I woke up and I'm having withdrawl symptons now. Mild headache, sleepy, keep yawning. Phew... I just need a month to kick this addiction. It took me three months the other time, coz the addiciton was for 8 years worth of caffein. This time round is only 1 year. LOL.
I remembered having a long list of things to do, but I conveniently left the list back in hostel. So, I cannot recalled much except doing some cleaning in the shelves and cupboard which I'll do it when I wake up early next time. =P
IA allocation results is out on Monday, if I'm not allocated to anywhere, I have to snatch the available slots on Tuesday, hopefully can make it. *cross fingers

What a week!

Finally, EXAMS OVER!!!! WHEET!!! And I won't be seeing them again until AUGUST 2007 coz I'm on INTERNSHIP! SHIOK! SHIOK! SHIOK!
3 papers in a week were so suffocating, and I had a headache just before my last paper, and to make matter worst, I don't take Panadol coz I'm allergic to it. In the end, I succumbed to the pain and took it, heng ar, only my legs were itchy. So I did my tutorials and scratched my legs at the same time, what a way to keep me awake. Actually this allegy, wasn't natural. My Nivea lotion and Panadol seemed to conflict, the parts where I put lotion on, would get exceptionally itchy after a Panadol. That's why I don't eat Panadol. Luckily the past 2 weeks I was too lazy to do my daily moisturizing, thus the effects appeared on my fat legs only. Anyway, Panadol is not good, my F&N teacher in my secondary school did a test and told us that Panadol would have this spike like thing coming out from the pill when dissolving which might prick your stomach, nothing very harmful lah, just drink more water lor. Still, Panadol is no-no for me.
Had been online since I reached home, and I realised I couldn't type a proper sentence without mistake, on MSN. My fingers need to do some "walking"... LOL. Log to my blog and saw so many protests on the tagboard. Anyway, as what I had told Hoon on MSN, "感激之言非一朝一夕之事,需慢功出细货"! So just wait patiently... =P
Something kinda weird happened before my second last paper. I was taking a nap on the bed and was about to doze off when I heard my mum shrieked at me, "Ah Qi, 你到底读有没有?!?" FYI, I was in hall and my mother was in Yishun. That perked me up and I managed
to study a bit more for my Maths.
Thanks to those who were concerned about my headache. I should have just 敢敢 popped the pill and scratched my limbs. Anyway, I just couldn't figure out the probabilities questions, which are no. 1 on my hatelist, so I think still can pass lah. I was damn worried last night that I felt like taking an MC for it. In the end, I SAT FOR THE PAPER! Thank goodness. I already anticipated 3 modules to flunk, so one module less to take after IA is good. =)
End with a happy note, I lost 2 kgs! Either the weighing machines is spoilt or I really lost the kilos. I choose to believe the latter! ^__________^
