They say I "Ah" with a lot of people...

Where got? I just talked more that's all. It is so deja-vu. 3 months ago, I was sabohed to be the planner for dinner date with the May batch. Once again, I am the planner for the June-July batch dinner date.

Both decided without asking my opinion. Oo( >_< )oO

They said I am so friendly, so detailed-oriented, has exceptional conversational skills, so it will be easier for me to ask the people. Weird, coz from what i remember, I kenna suaned, and I suaned back. People kenna teased, I joined in the fun.

Not that I mind, just smsing and checking out people's free time, but, why me??? It's not easy to coordinate 15 people's time and getting a good location. Then there's the fear whether this place ok with everybody mah etc.

I just had trouble 3 months ago, now it happened again?

I still don't get it. Or maybe I do get it.

I think they all enjoy "bully" me! -_-Y

Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince

雷声大雨点小, HP6太令大家失望了!

There were a few scenes which we could do without it, and many scenes in the story which we could not do without it. The flow is also choppy, as usual, squeezing the thick book into 3 hrs.

The ending is so not nice at all.

Jim Broadbent isn't a good Horace choice in my humble opinion. Micheal Gambon as Dumbledore this time round is better this time, not so outrageous, still the first one was better. That Lavender is so bimbo can?

Overall, the book is better although a bit lor soh!

I hate weekends coz it's too short! Random talks and thoughts.

It's Sunday already?!?

2 days of training at AKLTG, energy-sapping but fruitful. Learning how to communicate with people, how to engage with people through subtle body actions etc. Although the instructor was talking most of the time and I had to keep shaking my legs and move my body to keep myself awake, this module had the most fun so far.

I wonder what module 3 is like. Every time the lesson ends, I feel like being one of the instructor too. LOL.

The downside of going for courses was that we ended so much earlier than usual and there was no crowds at the shopping places, which in turn made the process more enjoyable with the service assistant serving you more attentively (not the persistent kind), and hence likely to spend more money. Not exactly helpful in my case as I'm a seasonal shopaholic.

I hit $93 within 30 minutes.

I only wanted to buy shoes, but was attracted to the fashion boutique next to it. Blouse here, shoes there, and when I was leaving, there was O2 Skin having some promotion. -_-|||

It's really dangerous for me to be alone.

And today, more shopping. Gosh! But then, cheap bargains. Finally found a crop cardigan that just cover the flabby arms, not the usual kind with buttons in front. Also bought 2 DVDs: Sea Biscuit and In Her Shoes. Had watched these 2 shows online and really loved the stories. One is motivational while the other one is kinship about 2 sisters and a grandmother.

Spend about 3 hrs trying to do my finance. Checking my expenses, drafting my next month's allowance, calculating my debt. Ha! Working doesn't make me richer; only spending becomes bigger.

At least, I become more diligent in keeping track my money in-out flow, and somewhere here and there, I actually scrimped and saved. 省小钱, 花大钱 is the way it works for me. =D

So far the biggest expense is the driving lessons, but I don't regret signing up learning in school coz I like the systematic lesson plan.

Helped Jia to paint her face today for her Boss's wedding. I must say, I do have some talent in this beauty thing. Ha ha. I didn't expect myself to pull off that look for her, just going with my instincts. Other than being a little too heavy handed (I tend to put in too much strength), I thought I did quite well for that partial nude look (Put a little drama on her eyes).

The best thing about the makeup was, I was actually applying tips and tricks I learned, although some weren't exactly the way it was suppose to be. But still, it worked. =D

One must be flexible to make all things work.

I am hungry now coz I didn't eat dinner.
I didn't eat dinner coz I was napping.
I was napping coz I was tired.
I was tired coz I woke up early.
I woke up early coz I help Jia.
I help Jia coz I am good at it. ^_^Y

Nature's Diamond Ring

The sun looks like it was slapped with round mask during the eclipse. Slowly, the mask was peeled off and revealed the "diamond ring". Gorgeous right?

Just watched the rerun of the CCTV's direct report on the eclipse, they even showed how pandas responded to the the eclipse. Ha... one got really aggressive and he was supposed to be the docile one!

There will be a partial eclipse on 6th August, and SG will be able to see 30% of the Sun covered.

Angel and Devil

I was very touched by the lady who shared her umbrella with me this morning! I was just waiting at the traffic light while the sky drizzle down at me, and all of a sudden, the drizzle was gone. I turned and I saw a stranger smiling at me. So touched neh!

It's my lucky day! I tot.

Then when I reached the office lobby, I saw the lift door just closing, I ran and I looked at the auntie who stood beside the control and signaled her to open the door for me, but she just looked at me and do nothing. Eye power lor!

And I couldn't't help, but blurted out loudly, "Wah Lao, Si beh helpful lor!"

What a morning!

Sun Yanzi Rocks Indoor Stadium!!!

The money is all worth it!!!

I had bought my seat later than my darling SF and SH, hence, I was a row in front and I thought that we would missed a lot of fun together.

But hey, some person sitting beside them did not come, and I was able to join them!!! Hooray for the person! Thank you ah!

Back to the concert, it was AWESOME!!! The overall show effect was superb, the dance was great, the hologram was unique, the outfits were so cool, and her singing was perfect! I enjoyed so much that when it came to the climax, we just stood up and started waving the lightstick. I didn't even care if my flabby arms were flabbing the whole night. Too bad for the person behind who had to see my flabbing arms lah! The three of us were so engrossed that we danced to the tune, sing to the song and encore with the crowds. Oh, I feel young again!

The whole stadium sang birthday song for her too! Damn shiok lah!

I saw Yanzi's Mum and Dad, she is an exact replica of her mother! I also saw 881's Little Papaya, so skinny and fair!!! Saw Cruz Teng when we were outside queueing, and again when we were seated. He walked past us in the front and I must say, he looked gansterish with the jacket and the hair. LOL. Oh, Zhou Chong Qing was walking right behind us when we left the stadium, and I snagged the chance to take a picture with him. Heh. I like his shows, both radio and tv. I had to use the poster to nudge him on his shoulders to get the attention, was a little rude but he couldn't hear me callng him mah. SF took the picture for us, and then I couldn't help it but tell them his Steak Joke again. Ha ha ha.

Let the pictures do the talking!

Blog Block

I have a lot of thoughts when I'm in the office, but they all disappeared when I am in front of my laptop.

Finally, after 2 months, I have something constructive to do, but because free for 2 months, I can't really start the brain-gine, and because I wasted 2 months, I have zero idea what I should do.

Panick is my first name. Went to zap the ADA bible, hopefully I can help do some stuffs.

I realized I can't direct people and I need to be directed, shit, where's my leadership skill and initiative? My mind was just filled with question marks during discussion. Alamak.

2 Aries in this project, hopefully their charging nature can help us charge all the way. Chiong ah!

Scorpios scored again for being brainy, they really take in info like a sponge.

We got a Virgo, not exactly a perfect perfectionist, but I believe she has a never-say-die attitude.

I trust the Libras to ensure fair share of work among us. Ha ha.

Aquarius, which is me, shall be responsible for entertaining them. I'm quite a target board for jokes.

One certain zodiac totally reminds me of Roomie, die die must win arguments, so I zipped my mouth.

Deep down, I'm actually panicking. Yes I like doing nothing, but then it irks me and hate myself when I have no contribution to things need to be done. Seeing everyone has something to contribute but me, seriously, I don't envy myself.

Someway somehow, I learn not to take in seriously what people said, especially comfort words and compliments. Comfort words like "Good what, relax ah!" is adding poison to my heart. Compliments are like satay sticks dipped in chocolate, looked like innocent Pocky sticks until you eat and kill yourself.

I am slowly losing my trusting nature. I always think twice when people say this and that. I even consider whether they were just patronizing me or not. Maybe Jia is right, I think too much over nonsensical things le. But then, skeptisim is good someway somehow.

Haiz, real world sucks!

I'm singing in the rain...

I hated the rain last week because I chopped off my hair for the period of hot weather and it started to rain everyday since.

But today, exception. I love the rain.

Because, if the rain hadn't got heavier at the point when we wanted to return to office after lunch, I would not have met mr. hobbes!

Damn it, I saw him from from the corner from my eye when he got off the taxi and the butterflies started making entrance in my stomach.

How many months have it been since I last spoke to him/blog about him?

Ho ho ho.

Passed! Failed!

Yeap, I passed my BTT last friday! Hooray! A step nearer to driving a car!

But I failed terribly on the eyesight test! Ha!~

To legally drive a car, one need to have good vision with spectacles. So I straight away went to apply for driving lessons once I passed my BTT, and at the counter itself, we could do an eye test done by the counter staff. I had to look into this machine and said out the words she dictated which row.

So, there was this particular with miniscule fonts, so she asked me to read out the word below the 7.

The tiny font looked a bit fuzzy to me, but I still could make out that it is a "R", so I said "R".

"Read the character below 7", the lady repeated.

"R!"

*repeat the last 2 sentences 3 times yourself.*

Apparently, I must have pissed the lady pretty much coz she adjustedthe machine, which then knocked into my head and caused uber pain, and then she shoved a piece of card to me. The card was right on the table from the start and I couldn't see it.

It says, "Read the symbols this way: 'E' facing up, down, left or right".

Oh, I made a mistake. Upon scrutiny, the character was "E facing up", not "R".

I think I will be the stereotypical female driver who can't check the blind spots.
