THIS BLOG IS DEAD!

And I'm here to revive it!

I'm starting my new job at CXXXX next Monday. Looking back at my past, I had changed 4 jobs in 4 years since graduation. Tsk.. really... But my HR friend topped me with her 6 jobs in 5 years, so, I'm not that bad, considering 2 of the jobs lasted 6 months, and the longest being 2.5 yrs.

Seriously, I wondered if I should have leave ST. I was having such a high salary, and now I'm back to fresh grad pay. Grrr...

But then, I was so depressed at my performance in ST, leaving for the best thing because I know I would be a drag to them, I can't have them always helped me.

I felt that this year I had all kinds of wishes came true, I remembered telling an JXX colleague when I left the company that I might want to do system engineer. Well, here I am, starting work as one this Monday.

When I left the last company, I told myself, I have to go back to being an engineer, but not software. Tadah, wish came true.

It was really ironic, as initially, I didn;t want the job at first, as they required a diploma grad. Thinking that the pay would be half of what I had, I just swayed into the interview with no stress. And I think I kinda aced the interview, personal record coz I wasn't nervous. I was being myself, being a little joker. When they asked if I could deal with stress, I answered: "Yeah, no issue, ST has good stress training. But you probably hear me screaming in the washroom."

Very me right?

Within an hour after the first interview on Monday, 3 Sep 2012, I received a call to get me down for second interview on Wed. Oh, I had 6 panels for the first interview plus a technical test.

I kinda BS my test, but the engineers seemed quite impressed, well, the power of smoking people! Ha ha! :P

I thought I would flung my 2nd interview, as I kinda imitated how the Japanese might talk with not so good English. Heck, the Jap Director was speaking like that, so I thought it didn't sit with him well, although the team lead was very amused and laughed, "Ya ya ya, you are like that!" Then proceed to taichi away the attention by telling the Director and HR manager that I did well for my technical test.

Phew....

So I was offered the job on Thursday, and I signed the contract on Friday, a very good start to September!
