Learning Japanese

Min was using an old exercise book which was used by Jia to learn Japanese course back in 1996, where she was going to Japan, Sendai with the school for home exchange.

While I was helping her to source the internet for research, Min asked, "大姐， 你有没有学Japanese?"

Yes, I replied.

The nosey her continued, "Then 你有没有去日本？"

I answered No.

"为什么你有 learn Japanese but 没有去日本？"

Dejected, I answered, "二姐当年学日语是因为要去日本，我学日语是因为我当年没得去日本。" It was a learning to 弥补当年的遗憾。
