JB trip

Once again, "paid" a really nice visit to our very loving neighbour, Malaysia

First stop: Lunch at a Jap restaurant

We had the set lunch, complete with rice, miso, fried fishcake as sidedish and a very big portion of pork topped with egg, RM$9.90. The poor waitress tried really hard to persuade us to get the top selling sushi, but because I wasn't the one paying, so I didn't dare to make any noise, actually I wanted to eat the ramen more, I also wanna get some sushi to eat.

Oh, why did I need not pay for my lunch? Well, it was a very belated birthday treat from them. So nice of them... =) And I was planning not to go... So touched...

BTW, while we were waiting for our food to arrive, EM (Ex Roomie) and KCQ couldn't stop talking about how cheap the food was comparing to SG's. Throughout the conversation, the word "cheap" has the highest frequency of appearance. Then I told them a joke, "I once read this joke in forum about how S'poreans would become a brood of chicks/birds when they stepped into M'sia, you know why?"

"Why?" EM, KCQ and Kawaii Jap Roomie asked in unison.

"Coz we will go CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!"

It took them 3 secs to understand the joke. LOL.

Anyway, the meal was really worthy. Kumi-san, an authentic Japanese, was giving thumbs up for it. We also didn't complain much too. =)

Second stop: Pelangi plaza, Giant Supermart

Bought a package of milk, biscuits, detergent and a packet of Hacks. The forever-worrying Queen asked us want to buy the menses pads or not... Tak boleh tahan lah... I did not go there to buy cheap stuffs and carry back to Singapore. If that was my real intention, I would have carry my SK bag and not that pathetic look-big-but-actually-very-small big-zip bag. Everytime we go Giant, she would act like there's no more sale tmr... As a Malaysiam but worked and study in Singapore, she had this habit of comparing the prices and obviously, M'sia is more price friendly. Haiz... Not that comparing is not good, but must have limit mah... Surely must I go buy menses pads everytime I stepped my feet into M'sia Giant? Cheap doesn't mean I have to buy right? Anyway, I usually buy more expensive stuffs also lah. ha ha ha. We are cheapos, but cannot bahave cheapo mah... ha ha ha...

Third stop: Jusco
This gotta be my favourite store of all time. Jusco is a huge deoartmental store, selling almost everything. It's like our Takashimaya, Seiyu and John Little. We cheong straight to the lady's apparel department. Ha ha. KCQ returned empty handed, Kumi-san and EM bought inner beauty, and me, heh heh, 5 undies and a white camisole which is so damn nice that Jenny also kenna seduced by it. Hee hee hee. I wanna get the purple and cream one!

Fourth Stop: Huan Xi Di (HK style cafe)
Final stop for the day, coz Kumi-san had to rush back for meeting. I had French toast and a Yuen Yang. The toast had a mini surprise, it has peanut butter in between! I had thought it will only be toasted with egg and butter only, when I savoured the peanut butter, wah sai, I was totally overwhelme! If only it has Nutella too...

I want to go JB again... Oh Oh! It was such a breeze when coming back. I used the auto system when I just scanned my passport, then my thumbprint. Cool!

Kumi-San and me. I looked ugly...
