I passed my driving!!!
It's so gonna make it to my 2011's favorite day!
At first, I thought it was a good day and really felt confident about passing. And felt even better when I had a temp instructor who was like super cute, too bad he taught me for 30mins only, then changed to another one. Young too, but lor soh like an auntie. Both the instructors said that I was doing alright, just that I had to be less nervous, and give all sorts of encouragement. Taking the TP for the 6th time, each time was a rewound deja vu.
While waiting for my turn, I thought I would not make it again, as I was having the most terrible headache. It was hard for me to think, let alone concentrate. So when my tester called my name, I was already half expecting to fail.
My tester also seemed fiercer than the previous ones. When we were in the circuit, to do parallel parking. I stopped for a while, as I gauged that I would knock the motorcyclist in front if I continue reversing. So the tester ask me why I paused. I gave him the reason and he actually told me to continue to reverse, as there was really no need. I was shocked, because all my previous testers would step the brake if I really continue to move.
Then when we were leaving for the main road from the circuit, I was checking my right side to make sure there was no cars. I saw a blue lorry coming, so I waited, and again, tester asked me why I was not moving. After giving him the reason, he said, "Aiyah, that one going back to circuit lah!" At this point, I made the first big no-no: argue back. I replied, "Eh, to be on the safe side mah". Although I didn't sound rude, inside my heart I was already like "Oh no! Sure fail this time again!"
Then shortly after I turned left, I stopped behind a car which was in the middle of the stop line, so I was technically stopping behind the stop line. When the car moved off, I stopped again at the line, and he very pek chek asked me, "Why you stop?"
"Stop line mah!" I replied, with a bit of attitude, and then I went "Shit! 2nd time!" in my head.
And I didn't slow down when approaching green light, and when he was correcting me, I was correcting him. 3rd time, siao liao lah.
So when we went back to school, the moment I get off the car, I asked him, "Sir I fail again right?" He gave me an attitude face, and with an attitude tone, "Wait lah, I tell you you fail or pass when we in debrief room, this is outside."
I was confirmed plus chopped I was going to fail After waiting for about 5 mins, he came out and told me I passed! I was like, "What? I passed? Oh my god! Thank you sir! " and I proceeded to cut his sentences on every fifth word when he was explaining to me what I had to do next. He got really exasperated and said, "Aiyoh, you let me finish lah!"
I was super duper happy, so I obeyed!
The rest of the day I was elated lah! =)

New Hair Style!
Yeap! I changed my hairstyle again! And I really love it! It's been a long long time since I cut my hair so short that I couldn't tie it up. My head feel so light, really light.
I went to the J's salon at Goodwood Park Hotel. My stylist has the most boring hairstylist's hair ever. She's a lady, in her late 40's I guess. She look so common and normal that you wouldn't think she's a stylist. Anyway, when I told her I want neck length, I was actually refering to my shoulder-neck connection length, so there was a little miscomm, but it was a nice surprise! But I do have a little complaint and that is they are not initiated enough. I was trying to clear off those hair off my face and they did not offer me a tissue. Tsk Tsk Tsk. And, they openly display their seniority, like ordering those sidekicks here a little harsh, When I saw it, I was like, woah, so worked up for wat?
Watever, I like my hair, and I love the colour! Nice right?

Today is just so not my day...
First, I lost my phone.
Then, I got stuck inside the toilet (not the toilet bowl ar...)
And to end the day, I scratched my middle finger during shower just now.

Hello Ladies!!!
Okie, those who know me know that I'm always yakking about beauty products and makeup and skincare. Like how I was inspired by Xiaxue to start a blog, I'm now inspired by MichellePhan and MakeUpGeek to start a YouTube channel!!!
I had this channel for the longest time, and all I uploaded was a dog show, funny goldfish parade and my project on telescope automation. I deleted them all and uploaded 2 vids of myself, in plain naked glory (I mean my face) on my routine. Even my sisters don't get to see this whole process!!!
I also started a new blog, in line with the beauty channel. It's the
Yeap, after snagging the web address for many months, this is the plan I hatched. =) Actually planned to do a interview journal, but I guessed I was too chicken to go round interview people. Skin not thick enough, or rather, it thinned after so many layers of creams. Anyway, the site needs to go through major face lift, I really dislike the default template Blogger offers. But this is gonna take some time.
Please support me, and do subscribe to my channel!!! Leave comments on how I can improve, I know there's a vast room for improvement!
Thank you!!!

Is he for real???
U know, the Ah Peng Kor guard who kinda complimented me by saying how ugly I was in primary school? He did more funny stunts and now my colleagues are teasing me about him being my SA lor... duhz...
But then again, he did all these funny stunts only when I'm around. Like yesterday, after filling in our details in the log book, he called out numbers to make sure we didn't give fake numbers. My colleague S was with me, so he called both our numbers. Initially, I thought it was a new procedure. But when I checked with my other colleagues who went up earlier than us, told me that the guard (yes, it was the same one) not only didn't call them, instead he said, "I trust you all!!!" What the hell???
Then just now, as I was changing out the passes for our I/Cs, dunno he real blur or tek gong, held on to our I/Cs and was so engrossed with the TV show. I had to called out to him before he responded. And when I went back to the car, my colleagues teased me again that he deliberately delayed the time, as I took longer than usual to change pass.
Now whenever I see this APK, I can't help but label a W on his head lor. Always do funny things to me because I'm the only lady changing pass.

Happy 2011!!!
Happy New Year! How was your countdown? Mine was pretty dramatic. I had a wonderful afternoon, which I had good lunch with my colleagues, a farewell for my PM. After that I went to watch Yogi & Boo Boo. Oh, you know the little clip they always had before the movie, it was the Road Runner and Coyote. Can see that they did a lot of antics for the 3D, but too bad I didn't watch in 3D, else it would have look very nice.
It went downhill after that. I had an argument with my dad, and in a fit, I stormed out of the house and wandered for about 3 hours. It was also so cool looking in TV, when the protagonist stormed out and wandered around. Mine was far from cool. I lost my contact lens due to excessive crying (I was so so so mad!!!), and Mother Nature chose to call me while I was still trying to sort out my feelings. I had to walk to the market, buy a pack of tissue and then made my way to the community centre washroom, all in utter blurriness. Then, I asked my 2 sisters out and joined me at the Khatib Countdown, which they got my specs for me too. If not, I'll be watching (I quote from PZ) fireclouds, and not fireworks. When we went home, then I realised I lost a key. So much drama right? At least dinner was good.
The thing about quarrels and arguments is that, it seemed so serious at that point that we slashed at each others' throats. And when you think back, it is really pointless and stupid. The argument won't be there if one of us gave in, right? And I was really a jerk, insisting to get Min home and not let her enjoy the final day of 2010.
New Year can't be New Year without taking a look at past resolutions and setting new ones. =) Let's grade my 2010 resolutions:
Ok, and now for Targets and Resolutions 2011:
R1) Exercise more. Currently having 2 KB lessons per week, probably can add some jogging in the slots. My upper body is getting heavier than my bottom, hence my legs get tired easily nowadays.
R2) Show more enthusaism for my job. I'm gonna stuck with it for maybe another 2 years, If I don't start loving it, I'm so gonna be doomed.
R3) Maintain my blogs regularly (Life, Health, Beauty and Splurge, which encompasses Fashion and Beauty). I don't really want to clump them in one, because the contents are very different.
R4) Be less annoying and be less easily annoyed by others. I have 4 people on my annoying list, shall reduce them to 2 (I doubt these 2 will ever get off my list). I have no idea how many people I've annoyed, because they don't tell me and I'm just gonna assume I annoy everyone.
R5) Show more love and less anger.
R6) Do not over splurge. In this case, the lesser posts I have in Splurge, the better. Basically, stop buying beauty products and pretty clothes!
R7) No more procrastination!!! Do immediately!!!
R8) Sleep early, by 12mn latest!!! (Today is an exception)
R9) Fasten my pace, as in like quicken my steps, take less time in everyday beauty regime, bath faster. Eating not included.
R10) Nap less. Heh.
T1) Hooky Crooky must start Businey! Find wholesellers, set up blog, start selling.
T2) Attain JLPT4, or a makeup artistry cert.
T3) Run at least two 5km run, or one 10km run. More specific and seemed more likely to achieve.
T4) Attend HP-UX Network and Admin System Course II and be certified. Looks better in my job profile, HR keeps a record of courses I attended.
T5) Get a boyfriend. Ha ha ha, that's a joke. Save 10k for next year's Europe's trip!
That's all folks.

- Be nice to everyone, especially my family. [All was well till the last day...]
- Be more responsible in anything I do I say. [I think I still did not achieve it]
- Manage my finance, control them! [Ill say I fail this very badly too]
- Be diligent. [Hmm... not in my work tho, but I think my personal stuffs I maintain to upkeep]
- Lose weight! [Eh... Lost a bit, gain a lot, then lost a bit.]
- Try a small business and be my own boss. [ Somewhere lost in the process. Think I'm gonna ask my partner again. We have yet to search for vendors. Site and misc so far so good tho.]
- Pick up a new skill. [I learnt more makeup techniques, and some face massage techniques, but not exactly the certified kind. Shall push myself more.]
- Upgrade my IT skills and knowledge. [I attended the HP-UX Network and Admin System I course. Realised I really prefered network over pure programming.]
- Do more charity. Be it donation or volunteer work. [I donated to Singapore Heart Foundation $38 mthly.]
- Run a marathon! 5 km is fine too. =) [I did more food marathon]
