Needs (Non-lasting, due to wear & tear)

1. Shopping vouchers, preferably for shoes, I killed a pair of shoe from walking to work every 2 month or so. Right now my favorite pair was just discharged from "hospital".
2. The new EZ Link card - I don't have an adult one for exchange mah.]

Eh... Maybe you all might know what I need most?

Wants (These actually would last much longer considering I would seldom use them or touch them except my saliva drooling over them)

1. Lord of the Ring Trilogy VCD/DVD - this is one of the dark and heavy shows that I like, been wanting to get the collection, but until now I did not see the full set of 3 movies for this. Does it come in a set or each sold seperately? Heh, if buying the DVD, please make sure there is English/Chinese subtitles.
2. Charles & Keith: ART# 364274 - I saw this purse (it is under evening bags in C&K website) randomly in a C&K shop and I've been lusting over it. It is one of the few greenie items that I like. It comes in black too, but it just doesn't seem nicer than this turquoise one. It is too big to be a wallet? (Unavailable in all leading stores. Opps. Paiseh ah, for those who hunt for this.)
   
   
3. Evening bag - I hardly use them in the past so I didn't buy, but at least from now onwards, I get to use once every year. Rectangular, Black and with sling please.(Taken)
4. Sweater - Baleno is going to be condemned soon, Giordano has replaced Baleno for quite some time, sooner or later, I will need a successor to take over Giordono, Adidas perhaps? ^_^ There's a Adidas discount store at IMM. (This one can group share!!! =) =)) -TAKEN
   
5. Books - Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages, The Tales of Beedle the Bard. I just want a complete collection of Harry Potter, =)

Items to avoid

1. Shoulder bags, sling bags, handbags - I think I have enough to last me until 2014.
2. Watches - I have a few myself, and I only wore one most of the time.
3. Makeup - I buy and never use.
4. Perfumes - I hardly use, and I prefer the oil perfume over those alcohols.
   

That's all I could think of, of course, if you feel that your money can utilized in a much way than buying the above nonsense, feel free to do so. The above is just a guideline.

So, take your pick and let me know so that I can cross the items off. ^_^

Officially 25!

Happy Birthday to Myself, Er-Yi, Hansel, Melissa and Wynter's boyfriend!!! We all share the same birthday! Woah!

My day started really very badly, I was the only one in office till 9am plus before my colleagues came in, so.......... busy!

Was contemplating to geng sick and urgent half day leave, was enjoying myself with thoughts of how to enjoy the remaining half of the day, maybe go watch "Benjamin Button" when I realized it was already noon and my uncleared items still piling, hence, idea was killed.

Wanted to knock off 5.30 sharp, but couldn't make it on time, at the very least, I managed to leave by 5.40pm. Rushed myself to the MRT, and definitely it was a lucky day! I got to sit after one stop, and I zzz all the way to Sembawang, to order my BBB cake. Right now, I am worried the cake won't be enough to feed 30 people... but then, the cake is just a ending, does not require to fill our stomachs, hor? I made a special message on the cake, rather than the usual Happy Birthday, and it sure sounds like some slogan! Heh.

Made my way to Jing's house for steamboat, then I remembered I forgot which block they stayed. After 5 calls made to check their address, I finally reached their doorstep, but NO ONE WAS AT HOME!

Shit!

And heng ah, 5 mins later, I saw them walking back from the lift, carrying food for the steamboat! Lucky leh, no need to sit at the stairs like some poor soul!

My Er-Yi was so surprised to see us, coz we didn't inform her, I cheekily told her I am her present, she was my present!

During the dinner, my phone rang non-stop, non-stop, non-stop. The first was from another cousin, the second and third was from my poly classmate, the fourth was jia, the fifth was from my poly classmate again. Talking about phone calls, someone I least expected called me today! Came as quite a shock, and very very unpleasant surprise that he called. But he brought good news for me, so it ain't too bad after all. Just hope it doesn't turn up badly!

The finale ended with a bang! The Swensons cake is so yummy, neopolitan ice cream with chocoloate walls and strawberries. My stomach was bursting by the end.

Wanted to cab home, when Jing's brother came home too, so he drove us back! Heng ah, save can fare.

Today is a truly blessed day, I truly believe the wish I made will come true too!

The holidays passed us just like the wind...

It seems like months ago when I decided to hold a BBB+CNY Party, and now it's less than 4 days away!

I am still thinking of the forfeits for those unpurple people. Heh.

Right, I still have yet to order the cake, prepare door gifts, less mention buying the items and the buying the food and prepare the food list.

Heng goodness, it's only a 20-30 people event. Don't think I can tahan another 50 people party after 初一's. Gotta cleared is a nightmare after every party, it's hell when it's 50 people.

That's the number I saw on the thermometer this morning.

Freak, it's only the second working week of 2009, and I'm sick for the second time.

It was a carried forward heatiness from last Monday, was on the road to recovery, but the greedy me downed 3 bowls of red bean soup last night, and the throat and body started protest in the middle of the night.

Kenna scolded by the doctor lor... Wah liew... He said I ate too much fried food, not enough sleep, so very heaty. When I told him I drink a lot of water, he agitatedly said, "No Use!". Very fierce lor.

After reading this, I realize, it doesn't hurt to start from somewhere small. Exactly akin to what Miss Ng advise, we all have to start somewhere small, especially in the technical area.

Jamie & Me

Jamie resembled me in many ways.

We look very alike, especially our eyes; our characters are alike, especially the procrastination part. We both love chocolate, ice creams and all those sinful food.

She's also a vain pot like me, and I think much more vainer.

Too bad she does not behave like a clean freak, my obvious trait.

Anyway, both of us do 争着眼睛说瞎话 when being confronted, when being questioned.

Ha, so 无药可救 siah.

Subconsciously, I still dreaded being reprimanded by Jia for 无谓的花费. I bought a few clothes online, and I actually lied that 2 dresses were buy on friends' behalf. Shit me. Yeap, I bought those dresses and I like them very much.

Hardly got the chance to wear them doesn't mean I don't wear them mah...

Blog Lag

If my blog was ever a homework... I definitely failed in submitting on time.

I have so many drafts saved in the blog, but I just don't seem to have the time to blog. I have blog drafts dated since last year, and last last year! See below!


A few unhappy incidents happened since the start of New Year, and it's all about Jamie, Jamie and Jamie.

Right, had a good talk with her, know her fears, now the next step is to guide her to the right path. She is not rebellious or naughty, but in terms of academic, she just does not perform as good as expected, not that she can't, she just lack confidence. A lot of energy has to be channeled to help her.

For those who know, thanks for concern and advise. It was great to know you people standing by me, giving the side of bright light when I was groping about in the dark.

Not a very nice way of describing, but I know you all know what I meant.

Right, new year resolution #1: Stop being a selfish sister.

Tired...

I'm tired at the thought of working tomorrow... Was MCed today due to consolidated fatigue and lack of rest.

Doc said I'm too heaty because of lack of sleep, my horoscope mentioned that I am not in good form and I need to drink more water, my face is showing signs of pimples and acne due to the above mentioned symptons, and I myself is very short tempered.

The medicine prescribed caused drowsiness, which is the last thing I want to happen when at work, the best thing when I lied on my bed thinking about all the unfinished items.

Ah... I still had yet to deliver my 2009 resolutions...

Jurong Bird Park

Took a long stroll at JBP today... Also strolled our way to the new Jurong Point...

Will update as soon as I got the energy... all sapped up by the birds at Jurong.
