Mahjong session on Sat was shiok beyond words. I helped Janet played when I arrived, from deficit amount, I played and became the 2nd overall winner! I got 5 tais twice, then once I zimo hua shang (that is I got my own flower, then when I bu hua, I zimo), from zero tai jumped to 2 tai! BS damn heng, zimo King lor... He would have won $20 over bucks if I didn't win some from him. Ha ha... Poor Wynter... Big loser... But she got upper hand towards the end of the game, but not enough to cover her losses... And because of too much fun in mahjong, I missed the official Chingay on Sat, supposed to help. I did go down to Orchard, but I was so sleepy that I decided to head home and sleep. Who knows, mahjong sequel was waiting for me... Was playing with 5th Auntie, initiallt, the zero tai one. Then she want to learn mahjong with tai, so we teached her. End up I also pay "sch fees" with her... Then Jia gave me my $3 back, hee hee...

Sun I went to meet my sec friends... So long never see them le. Shuhua and Xiuli are already working liao, but seems like they aren't in their area of interests, hope for the best for them! We ate at Man Ting Xiang, a place I used to frequent with PZ at Hougang Green, but we were at the AMK outlet that day. I think the standard is better than Hougang Green, it was rumoured that AMK's one wansn't that good. Think they improve le.

The Nokia Idiot gave us a treat at Lao Shanghai. Seriously, you wanna be a host, then be a good one. Dun be so LJ asked people to help u asked, in the end too many people U KPKB. Tell Mum not to tell anyone ur secret, you are the hollering to people about it. Siao... damn pissed off... Got money also no need to show off like that. And please work up ur dress sense, don't wear a top so nice and then below u wear stocking with pumps, so cheena auntie lor!

Today at work was seriously damn sia suay: I dozed off at Big Boss's office. Win liao lor, noone can win me le. Before Sup left for PSB, he was telling me "Do not sleep, Do not Idle, Do your work". What a huge hint... Coz he was with me in Big Boss room presenting out website. I was still alright when I was standing, but the moment I was seated on the chair, sleep bug crawl into my brain. I was trying so hard to keep awake... I stretched my shoulder, rotate my neck, pinched myself... All useless... While Sup was explaining to Big Boss, I just dozed off... Definitely, Sup and Big Boss sure saw me sleeping coz when they asked me questions, my eyes were obviously half opened even though I was answeing them. Then Sup attempted to wake me up by slapping hard on the table while passing me the note. Good one... Then came the advice "Do not sleep, do not idle, do your work"...

Damn...

Pretty Eyes

For the Nth time, people asked if had put on make up, on a day where I had not enough sleep. Bo pian lah,my eyes are so pretty that it looks like with makeup when it was dark rings, ha ha ha.

But seriously, are my dark eyes rings so bad?

Today the team website was completed. Shiok! Sup wanted frames, so I created frame inside frame inside frame, ha ha ha... Coz I don't want the background to move when scrolling, so have to use a lot of frames and allow transparency. Dunno what I'm talking? Hee... Not surprising...=P

Went to help out at Chingay today and tomorrow I have to go also. The bad thing about having such mass event is waste of time. Wait here wait there de... Wah lau... But the atmosphere there is really different from watching TV. Personally, I like the Japan Association of SG float... It was a live band I think, and the music just wanna make u dance to the beat! And the dancers, so lively!!!!! I was stationed at the start of the parade, So I could almost see all the floats, if only I was taller...

Back to Doom Land

After a 5 days break, I was practically dragging myself to work on Wed. It did not turn out better with a sacarstic supervisor, and tough project back on track, SUCKS!!!
Chu er damn tok gong, went for 1am movie, then supper. Reached home at 5am plus, sleep at 7am!!! I tot I could enjoy a good rest on chu san, but my Uni frens came knocking on the door at 11am! FREAK lah! Tot they not coming... Kenna Mum niam niam also... You know lah, guests come still lie on bed, of coz tio meh...
We had a mahjong session then. I was seriously tired out, throw East I shouted South. Throw Green Fa I said Ang Tiong. Win... Heng ar... Luck was with me, I still win $3. Could have been more, if Wynter didn't stop the blur blur Janet from throwing the Ang Tiong, I could have Da San Yuan 5 tais you know. I had all Bai Ban and Green Fa, was waiting for a single Ang Tiong. Anyway, I also did one full got tai, zi mo some more, $3.20 per head into my pocket. ha ha ha.

Yo! Is chu er le, how's is your housevisiting? Tired hor... Even though I didnt go anywhere, but my house was the host for chu yi, so we were cooking, cleaning, serving. Even my cousin said she only saw me in the kitchen when she wanted to go bathroom.
Is always fun to see all my cousins (我的家族"阴"气重，哈哈) and chit chat with them. This year, I was busy in the kitchen, so didn't really get to chat with them, but now I do see the growth in the younger cousins：All of them had plunging necklines! Woah!

Anyway, we were so freaking tired when they left... Already very tired from cooking, still have to clean house. The house was so dirty, that when I mopped the floor, could see the difference in color: Black and white.

Today, we will go house visiting le, can wear my new clothes le, yeah!!!

Birthday Gifts

Received more belated birthday gifts today, a postcard from the 4 of them, a CD from Ex-roomie and a box of Japanese snacks from Kumi. I love these gals!

Interestingly, I notice most of my presents this year are related to the mouth...

First, a box of Toblerone. Then a set of toothbrush and toothpaste set. And then snacks again! LOL.

Happy V-day!

Received a very very belated birthday gift from an old friend, first time from him, today. Weird, friends for almost 12 years, other than the 13 year old birthday when he and the other celebrated my birthday, that was it.

I suspected a scheming motive, nonetheless, I went ahead to meet him, during my office lunch hour. I was rather skeptical, wondering what other surprises he might have up his sleeve, for me.

During lunch, I asked him, "Why did you give me present after so many years?" Rather taken aback by my question, he threw back the question at me. Good one...so I answered because he got Birthday Alarm to remind him of my birthday right? Then he said also got Friendster mah... Yah yah...

Before we parted our way, he handed me my present, full of suspense, only telling me it's something useful.

Back at office, I gingerly opened the present... it was... an oral hygiene travelling set! It has a toothbrush, toothopaste, rinsing solution and freshener mist. Thanks for hinting me I have bad breathe and yellow teeth... -_-" nd he got my age wrong! He wrote "Happy 22nd birthday!" This one I can forgive... even thought he should know my age coz we are born in the same year...

Knew he won't me so nice to give me present, it was Amway's product, and his ulterior aim was to get me join (if I'm interested) in this Nutrilife seminar held this coming Thurs, which is tmr, next Tues and the next next Thurs.

Damn... what a vday for me!

Joking joking, I'm really happy he remembered and buy me gift! Actually, I do need a toothbrush also... Ha ha. Thanks dude!

New skin

Been doing website designing for my team, and the chamber project is put on hold, waiting for the support side from Penang to get back to us first. Phew... Get to relax for a while...

VIPs coming in March, thus I was tasked to do some web designing, idea from Sup again. He has a lot of ideas, eager to present. Poor CC, he has a lot of modules to finish by March leh... But he also power lah, already finished a lot of it liao, I'm very impressed by him. Coz he has no prior background programming background, yet he managed to do it quick.

Itching to change my blog skin, now that I've been frequently using Dreamweaver and touching on the language Javascript. Hopefully I can finish it before report comes in...

Music to the ears...

In the 80's, it was cool to listen to music on a boombox and carried it on your shoulder. Walked and dance around the street, blaring the music.

Then this someone who must really hate boombox decided to come with this gizmo: Walkman, and further on, discman, with earpieces okie, so atas: Listen to your own music.

Then came the era of handphones, and how many missed calls people had to go through before they realised their handphones were ringing while they were listening to the music stuck in their ears.

As technology advances, music player integrate with handphones. Not only does the a handphone need to zhng its function, so does the speaker! Getting so good that music handphone player need no external speakers to enhance its quality.

So, we are back to "boombox" era, except that people are blaring music from their phones instead of the big bulky boombox.

IT"S SO BLOODY IRRITATING! AND MOST PEOPLE WHO DID THIS ARE THOSE BLOODY NOSE HIGH UP IN THE AIR KIDS WHO ONLY KNOW HOW TO GET MONEY FROM PARENTS! (The only time I encounter that wasn't a kid was an uncle blaring some weird hokkien sutra chants)

Seriously, I don't understand. A ear piece is designed to be small and portable, so as to attract people to use, and why are they refusing to use and blast the music instead? I hope the next trend is to wear ear piece so they would wear it all day and spare our ears from those techno, alternative or blah blah blah kind of music.

Damn happy, bought 2 Surfer's Paradise tees, at $13 each, size L somemore. Their cutting is rather big... =D And due to lose of appetite the last 2 days, I lost 2kgs. Wheet! Yet, I think my appetite is back after a hearty shoppping trip. Ha ha... must control...

Can tmr come later??? I don't want to work... Why Sunday so soon!!??!!

Friday is the day I looked most forward... Finally can take a breather yet at the same time, I need to rush all the stuffs by Monday. Haiz... I think I have an honest face, Sup asked me, is it very stressful to work for him, coz he can see it all over my face, STRESSED! I asked CC, and he said my face turned glum when I see Sup, LOL... No choice lah, I'm an honest girl...

Been having lousy appetite since sick...Don't feel hungry also.. Eat for the sake of eating, I suspect time of the month is coming again... Like that also good... Can feel my jawline and my wrist bone liao... Wah ha ha ha... Haiz...

Sick again...

Was feeling so weak and nauseous this morning, bo pian went to see doc and get an MC. Was having a fever yesterday already yet still went to meet DL, ended up she also not feeling well. Then we 2 poor kids went to have just a milo only... and I still have to meet fren for project help after that... Bleahz...

After eating medicine and sleep the whole day, feeling much better, but stomach still feels weird now. My project is nowhere progressing how??? Help!!!

In my mid of clearing those spam mails which was around 80, my sharp eyes saw a mail which could possibly passed off as a spam mail.

The creator of Sasxsek emailed me! He/she visited my blog and emailed me this:

"Some are still English and then, the rest are those odd words that you dunno how to pronouce, like, iqglis which means English. Sasxsek doesn't use C and E, using K and I instead.Pretty cool huh? But not simple at all..."

As the creator of Sasxsek, I'm not quite sure what these last couple statements mean. "iqglis" is pronounced "eeng-glees". The Q is pronounced like the NG in siNG.I'm also not sure what you mean about C,E, K and I. C is not used (at least not yet) the rest are used.Anyway if anyone has any usage questions they can direct them to me.

Mum said Dad had changed, not for the worse, but for the better. He actually brought her shopping and chose clothes for her! Unbelievable... I think the death of my godpa's left a deep impact in him... In the past, only Mum teased him, now he does the same. Mum was not used to it, but I find it very amusing... =)

Living up to people's expectation

I was browsing thru Friendster, when memories of random events came flooding back. I realised, I've tried so hard to keep up with people's expectation of me, that I kinda lost myself. Even if I done something to show them that I'm listening to their advice, it turned out, still not good enough...

What the hell did I go thru to make myself miserable? Damn...

Sometimes, I think I'm also trying to seek attention from them, thus I tried so hard to be what they want me to be, yet it turned out, I'm feeling uneasy and they also don't really see it thru. In fact, when it was I myself wanted to become live up to my own expectation, I'm happier, because I'm doing for myself and not anyone.

I've been living in self denial that "I do not care what people think of me", just the opposite, I mind what they think of me very much! Being it physically or non physical remark, I took it to heart and I would keep harping on the issue until I'm satisfied or they gradually forgot the matter too.

So much for being "myself"...

Anyway, I think I've gone thru some gradual changes... it felt like my energy is draning away... Pls make me 16 again!

Screw those new year resolutions

It has been a month and the progress of my NY resolutions were...

1. Lose weight: Failed. I gained weight instead... Now I'm trying very hard not to eat rice for dinner. Yet, there are times when I gave in to delicious food. Just yesterday and today, I ate my mum's share of fried rice and chicken wings. Felt very bad coz she didn't get to eat her own nice cooking. Now I must always remember not to clear up the food even if it was 10% left.
2. No more procrastination: Failed. I'm still deelee dailee my things... Chop chop hurry hurry finish! I'm no longer the inflexible law-by-law Siqi. I rememeber I used to finish my stuffs quick, and in an orderly manner. Now, I do it when I feel like it. Mum's CNY cards to her friends still on my desk... Haven't glue my shoes... Havent sort my letters and put them in the boxes... Haven't do my project and Mon I have to test the system le... -_-'''. I also have one more lantern to make!
3. Be diligent: Failed. I'm getting lazier...
4. Be thrifty: Passed, coz I have no money.
5. Learn something new: Failed, too many to choose what I want. Passed coz I gg for thai kickboxing this Feb! Any kakis?
6. Be courteous: Failed, didn't ask Mum whether she had dinner or not. 妈，孩儿不孝！下次一定为你留饭菜！
7. Train my level of tolerance: NA, can't recall anything related yet.
8. Speak less evil: NA, can't recall anything related yet.
9. Complain less: Failed... Didn't celebrate my birthday, I complained. Celebrated, I also complained.
10. Have some sense of danger: Failed, blur sotong still a blur sotong.

Heng

I was sleeping most of the time today, just when I woke up to check a sms, Sup came over, phew... heng ar, if not he would see me sleeping le.

After 3 weeks, it turns out that our IP address are all blocked! Duhz.. If cannot settle the unblocking, all the efforts will be put to waste...

Today is the 7th day, so fast... Last week seems just like yesterday...

They're great!

Had a blastful night yesterday! Fun will definitely be around with YQ, XL, Ivy and Teh Ni. I was treated to the karaoke, meals, chocolate cheesecake and a box of chocolate, I didn't have this in mind when I asked them out for k-ing. It was just purely for gathering.

As fate planned, after I gathered them for this, I was informed of godpa's death. They came for the funeral on Mon, my birthday. Even though it wasn't really appropriate to wish me on such occassion, they still gave me a belated non-formal celebration. I didn't want any cake, coz I knew we won't be able to fnish it, yet, Ivy and XL still went to buy secretly. For a while we really thought they lost their way, coz they didn't pakat with YQ and Teh Ni also.

As usual, Ivy told us her frustrating love problems, which was nothing unusual already, lol. Teh Ni wasn't spared from being question about his latest r/s; XL made laugh our heads off with her pornish vocal, and YQ had fun photo whoring.

However, we couldn't deny, we are adults, no longer the frisky adolenscents. The fun we had yesterday night were so rare in our daily lives already, that we cherished even more the time we had together, always so carefree and funny.

Too bad life isn't made this way. Anyway, I appreciate what they did for me, and I realised, the greatest enjoyment comes when you have no expectation at all! Just have fun and let our hair down, yeah?
