Just now was so paiseh...
You know how you would try to avoid taking lift with a stranger? I tried, by checking my mailbox, hoping it will delay some time for him to get up first. However, there were no letters! To further delay the time, I used my hand and scan inside, machiam like a lot of letters like that. Then, I saw the lift door closing, so I thought I can stop acting, and shut the mailbox. As I turned around, with my key jagging my chin (it's like you are thinking and you point a finger at your chin), preparing to walk to the lift, that guy open the lift door! Nowhere to hide and not wanting to create embarassment (he opened lift door for me, I cannot dun accept this kind act right?), I ran in.
"11th?" he asked.
"Nope, 6 please. Thanks."
I could feel my cheeks burning coz I was thinking if he was thinking how come I have no letters in my hand. At this point, he tried to strike a conversation. "You just moved here? Seldom see you"
"Oh, stayed here for 20 years le", I replied.
"Few years?" he asked again. (Actually I dunno if he was trying to say he stayed here for a few year or he misheard my 20 years)
"20 years"
"Oh, never see you before le!" He gave me the oh-I-din-know look la
"Heh heh, see you around then", and I walked out of the lift.
How funny, here there are people trying to be friendly and we are not used to it. Yet, we kaopeh people are very rude. How ironic!

Oh Oh, I saw Lai Yiling today at AMK Hub, seriously, people will definitely turned and looked at her coz she so tiny, dress very kawaii, and a kid hang around her? There she was talking to her daughter, "Come, drink water..." Then I went to update my bankbook. When I left, she was drawing some cash, and she was complaining to her mother-in-law or dunno some relative, "Yi diam diam kio wa ah-ma! Ki si!" (She keep calling me Grandma, very angry!)
See see, she's not that celeb at all, maybe her dress sense is a bit loud coz of her celeb status bah...
