Elaine's Wedding

Attended Elaine's wedding just now, at Orchard Hotel, food and service was so-so. The 0nly gorgeous factor is the bride. Ha ha. Anyway, Elaine invited a few big shot, one of them was the MP dunno which GRC, Christopher De Souza. He dedicated and sang the song "月亮代表我的心" to Elaine and Ken.

In between the wedding, the crew captain armed himself with some sheets of paper and a pen and was going around to do survey. I gave him "average" for the food and service, but I couln't think of what improvements, so Felice contributed by telling him to get one service ctrew per table, instead of 2 crew to 3 tables. After he left, we noticed we could have tell him to standardise the servings. It was pretty weird some food were portioned out nicely for us, some we had to scoop outselves. We thought the crew would serve us the fish sicne she was cutting; no, she just cut and left the table, leaving us to get the pathetic fish ourselves. Anyway, we thought of a few more but now I can't recall.

Belle and Felice had fun time looking at yandaos, ha ha. But then, they weren't discreet at all when grading the guys leh, so malu! Ha ha... I think one of the guys overheard what we talked about them.

Felice thought Belle would bring camera, I thought Felice would bring and Felice thought either of us will bring. In the end, we had to make do with our camera phones. Belle didn't join in this craze with us. I didn't take much, just 3, and they turned out very reddish due to dim lighting. Felice had night mode switch on, maybe hes will turn out better. Anyway, just post the best for here. =)

Innovationation

Have you heard of the Innovationation?

If I'm not wrong, this is part of the govt's plan of being a IT nation, in lieu with the 25 years of Infocomm industry in Singapore. There was adverts in a MRT station about how accessible one is if she/he is IT literate, right? I didn't made this up, did I? (ponder...)

Anyway, I think this is a fantastic plan. Just imagine, when everyone knows the difference between MB and GB; Intel Pentium is not the only processor manufacturer in this world; the size and speed (yah, speed, like hard disk run faster than a CD-R) of different storage devices; or the difference between MP, MB and the 640X480 in a digital camera, I'm pretty sure the guys at Sim Lim would stop giving people (especially girls and those IT illiterate) that "You are so stupid" face and try to cheat us. (I hate to go Sim Lim!!!)

I went to the Comex (ha ha, iroically, the booths mostly are from Sim Lim) show with Jia last month. One of promoters actually praised us that we dared to come to IT show without any guys (being more IT geek lah) with us. So Jia said I studied IT, so I'm able to guage the stuffs without being blinded by all the specs and promo gimmicks (I fell for one also lah, bought my LCD monitor which comes with a free webcam, ha ha). So you see, if everyone buys their stuffs with knowledge of what they want, then maybe you won't buy because of its looks or because you were given a free pink mouse.

I realised most of my girl friends, when I asked what kind of laptop they would buy, most of them go for Fujitsu, because of its look and lightweight too. However, if give them a better choice of laptop, which works faster, better and maybe jusy 200g heavier, they still stick to Fujitsu coz the other laptop is ugly. Hee hee, I used to be one also lah, my 2nd PC was chosen because of the price and looks. Then after I went poly, I realised I was cheated. It was a Pentium 3 equivalent (AMD duron 700MHz), and not Pentium 4. I hope that guy dies of piles. Anyway I was being questioned gazillion times why I didn't choose Fujitsu, when they saw my IBM laptop, and I would start my long story of the specs and etc, which at the end, they would just frowned at me and looked "huh?", or if not, even if they understood what rubbish I'm talking, they would still prefer Fujitsu since "it's only that little difference". I tot everyone goes for the best? Anyway, next time if anyone ask me again, I think next time I shall just answered, "Coz I'm a guy inside a girl".

Of coz, now many girls are getting good at IT stuffs, and not all guys are good at tech, and not everyone could really fully understand this whole stuff about techonology (not even I). I just believe that if everyone is armed with some idea of the stuffs they are doing or buying, then at least IT isn't that scary at all. Even my mum who was scared to switch on my PC in the past, plays PC everyday now, better life than me hor. She even knows how to do bank transfer. Now all she need to learn is how to sms and use handphone to take pictures. Wow, next time she can upload also. Ha ha ha.

Fat fingers...

A few months ago, I posted this pic about my fingers looking like hobbits' fingers. Then just now, I saw my last entry, and I saw this typo：celebtities. LOL, think can shortcut the phrase for female celeb when comparing their tits, like: Celebtities Showdown: Who has the grossest tits! Ha ha ha. Anyway, fingers too fat ain't good, too much typo and not agile enough. So when I try to type fast, ends up disastrous. Like the incident where I MSNed my fren I would bed my father to keep a puppy, when I want to type beg.

Even when I typed this entry, I kept typing fingers as gingers. -_-"

Friends

Had an outing with the poly astro frens last night, also a post birthday celebration for YT. Then bump into a secondary school fren in Orchard. We did not say "Hi" to each other, we just each other 2 glances then look somewhere else.

I don't even bother to say "Hi" to those I met in Uni, moreover someone in Orchard.

Not I trying to be dao, but to those whom I hardly spoke to, I seldom take the initiative to say "Hi, long time no see!" first. Becoz I'm afraid, afraid of what, I dunno. Maybe because we all are afraid of this unknown, that's why no one makes the first move. Or maybe becoz I felt that back in their memories, I am of non existent, so there's no point to catch up. Actually, I do want to say "Hi".

Now as I think back, I do take the initiative sometimes. However, some ended quite awkward, or that we exchange phone numbers, out of politeness, but we didn't quite keep in touch. Yet someone asked me out so much I feel like slapping him, (Jenny, u know who. ;p) Coz I don't think there's a need to catch up every 3 months when we always have nothing to talk when we meet. I think I erased quite a number out of my phonebook. (Years ago handphone could only store that much, and my hardcopy is useless with me). Plus it doesn't help much when people are always changing phone numbers, then when you want to inform people about the change, you will start filtering the list of who you should update. It gets really turn off when u received an sms asking who you are, right?

Then came Friendster, which everyone started to "dig" old frens out. I think Friendster is a good way of keeping all these contacts, even though we might never talk to each other again.

I think it all takes an effort to keep in touch. Haiz... So long never see the 2/5 gang le.

A good day? No no

I tot my day was too good to be true: Slept at 3am, woke up at 5am yet not feeling tired. Wake up to a bowl of nice breakfast, manage to leave house 10 minutes earlier than usual. Wah sai, the day wastoo good to be true... Take MRT also got seats somemore, wah shiok, can catch 40 winks.

Then it was a crazy day of rushing report. Finally can go home, stand until Woodlands before I got a seat. Rest my eyes coz very painful.

Was so terribly hungry when I reached home. Gobbled down half jin of kway tiao (and it costs only 30 cents!?!) with yong tau foo. Today our dinner is very personalized: Dad got his fish head, I got my yong tau foo and Jia got Ba Chor with Mee Tai Ma. Min is rubbish bin, so she eats anything. LOL.

Need to finish 2 reports tonight, kill me...

Stupid tutor

I feel like strangling my Maths tutor to death. KNNBCCB, where got tutor give 3 LONG questions for quiz de, 3 questions... never mind, but keep flipping your mind like roti prata, at first you said Q1 very tedious, then u say Q3 very hard, then you said must do Q2, so what, which one should I do to score? And very smart hor, give us one hr to do machiam very good, you think I don't know is because you lazy to go through the tutorial.

You didn't print for us the questions, never mind, I don't mind copying, but do you have to show biasness? To think you actually tell the guy in front of me that his answer is wrong, then why didn't you hint the others? OOH! Just because he talked and joked with you every week har? K lah, next time I bring a clown to make you happy.

Met up with the polygang last night, and we had dinner at the food court instead of cafe cartel as planned. I had a really disgusting Korean food, shitty ramen, is more like instant noodles cooked with chicken and veggie and put a lot of chilli oil... Pui! Oh, happen to saw Kim also, so qiao, sitting just behind me. We couln't fix a time to meet, yet we bumped each other there. Then bump into XL and RN this morning also... wah ha ha ha.

Something as consolation for not studying: I won $30+ at mahjong, yeah!!! Using Jia's lingo: Damn Luck Gu! Coz considering my mahjong skills still at elementary level. Treating mum and sis for breakfast tmr... Heez!

Was recommended by my sis Jia tat Bebo is gd... so i tot i pop in & take a look & start on my 1st journel.Shall start wif how i start my day...

2day very "Ku lat", wake up @ 7am 2 accompany my mum 2 go & visit auntie june, Mom had a bag of hai xim & a VCR player 4 her... then went 2 Koufu & eat, kns, the roasted duck noodle i ordered is so stingy with the serving, noodle, roasted duck and char siew (added, not complimetary) all so little, cost me $4.50, worst is the duck meat she gave me all r lards of fat.. duhz.. so little liao still got 2 share wif Jamie.. wah lau eh..

at ard 10 i think, we made out way 2 Funan IT mall 2 trade in the old printers, aunt Kylie said start @ 11am.. mum me & jamie waited.. & i asked the security guard, made 2 trips to the info counter which is at level 2, only 2 find out tat the bloody trade in starts @ 12.. & they were late lor.. kns.. this is nt the worst, the printers tat i had dragged is zero dollar value.. kns, drag for nothing, but also gd lah, rubbish eliminated from my hse, next target is my dad's rubbish

then i went 2 the IT fair @ suntec, on my way, bought a skirt @ Hangten, coz it fit me well.. then slowly made my way 2 the halls, wah lau eh.. today sai ren lor, so many pple, packed like sardines, smell all the ba-wu, faint.. hardly squeeze my way there.. was looking for a external HDD, saw Zhiyang giving flyer when i was upon the escalater, no chance 2 say hi coz i was pushed away. While bioing @ level 4, shit, i attracted a financial planner while i was bioing at her catalogue of IT devices, bo pian, i sit down & play along wif her, think my acting skills improve, i act as if i'm very interested, till PZ came, i was still halaing wif her.. but i decided not 2 buy and plans coz my pay is really pathetic...

after the ha-la ends, me and PZ went 2 c-c-look-look, then saw a 2.5 inch HDD, gd.. tat's what i want, i got a HDD box liao, this ft just nice, got it @$119, 40GB, klah, i dunno the market price.. but i think it's worth it...

then me & PZ squeeze our way out. then i wanna update my bank book, so we went and TMD, the path way is just like @ wisma, so squeezy, smell ba-wu again. then made a big round 2 city link 2 eat @ O'briens, gosh, it was delicious & huge, no gd movie to catch, so we decide to go PS and look at scores coz PZ wanna learn violin.. then chit chat wif huilee @ her workplace ProPhoto, haiz, talked abt this yr Astro com, so disappointed wif them. while on our way back to Yishun, wanna show PZ the coupons i had and shucks, i had an Obriens vouncher.. and it's valid only on SUN!!!! me and PZ hardbreat siah... coz the 2 sets of sandwiches and 2 cups of drinks cost us $24...-_-

Singapore Idol 2006

Woo Hoo, Hady won. Although 老人家 (me) didn't follow this already cool down mania (or becoz I didn't join in the fun so it appears cold to me???), Jon left a deeper impression in me coz he has really outstanding vocal among those freaks. I don't know about Hady, since I only saw the first episode which Jon was in.

Long story short, the Malay Kampung won the fight against 华人村, yet AGAIN! Is this a curse? Or a gimmick done by the producers? Even the 3rd last standing was a lady (Oli and Jasmine). Smell fishy to me, but nonetheless, since I am so free (no mood to study yet), let me bring u the similarities among these 4 Idols!

1. Taufik's and Hady's eyes are bigger than Sly's and Jon's. (Can see Sly gek his eyes big big?) We always say, "眼睛是灵魂之窗 (Eyes are windows to the souls)", with eyes as small as slits, it's no wonder Sly and Jon can't get any souls to support them.
2. Realise how thin Sly and Jon are? While Taufik and Hady looks so plump and healthy? Forget about 白白胖胖， we now in the era of "Black Prince Charmings".
3. Long hair is no longer appealing, cut ur hairs, boys!
4. Taufik and Hady have healthy and clean-cut image, and tinge of pop idol 气质, Jon is very classical charismatic and gentleman-ly, Sly... one word: BENG. Anyway, in short, Sly and Jon not pop enough. (I wonder if Jon will goes into romantic songs when he released albums, he kinda had that 风度翩翩，yet 悲情苦男子 look, top it off with his thin frame, like never eat for love like that)
5. Can't judge much for their vocals, since I didn't follow the season, but one word for sure, Sly sucks BIG TIME! I regret supporting him last time. He's not getting the right attention and package. I pity him now. (Damn, his song 降龙十八掌 is ringing in my ears.)

With only heads for reference, that's about all I can compare. As for difference, I think is their names only lor. Frankly speaking, they look so cloned.

Crap, this one weak break is meant for me to study one right, but until now, I just mo-mo the notes for self appease: that at least I had touched the lectures notes mah. 6 more days to go before heading for my first man-hole: quiz. -_-"

Went to troubleshoot Jia's workplace today, biangz... I am so not into the situation, took me half day to realise the whole thing on the softwares and the hardwares. Anyway, the Boss also wanna atas but cannot atas lah, office so small, only 2 PC, no need so high end lah... He had so many things to ask me, hello, I'm not totally expert...Phew, I wasn't very sure I could get things going, plus the Boss asked me so many technical questions, I had to mo-mo last minute and then get myself familiarise and tadah!!! I've got answers. Still had the tech bug inside me to figure the whole stituation, heng ar... and doing this had given me a lot of exposures. Things I learnt today:

• Backup the mails in Outlook and Outlook Express: no need to cry over lost emails and contacts, and doing the manual way of backing up (save 1 by 1)
• Know how to set up those multifunctions kind of printer-scanner-fax devices: Their telephone cables so atas, must be 2 copper conductors and not 4 we had in out usual telephones.
• Winfax: a magic that converts ur fax to email and email to fax. 神奇!

I had thought that I would complete the whole troubleshooting in half a day, but alas, I went on to do extra stuffs like installing free anti virus, upgrade the Acrobat Reader, share network, clean his inbox, install printers, and fix his DVD rom (no results yet, will get Jia to bring the cleaning disc tmr). If external vendors had all this, they could have easily charge up to $300 liao, I wonder how much the Boss is paying me (hope he's not thinking of paying me with that tabao "fish lie bee hoon"). Anyway, I "borrowed" his Office 2003, but forgot his ID key. -___-"

Super tired right now, went to meet PZ just now to get my camera back from her. Had went to support her BF, who was working as a PT DJ, on Sun night. Had sent me back at ard 1.30am last night. After some mo-mo bathing and online, KO at 3am, but I freaky woke up at 6.30am to follow Jia. Had a coffee to perk me up, but effect lost at around 3pm, coz hungry already... Play reversi until I dozed off lor (Boss not around, so hogged his PC to play, :P)

The 2-3 kgs I put up on Fri's steamboat had disappeared. Oh man, so drastic gain and loss of weight, I think my skin getting very saggy, I could feel it on my eyelids already leh! =O How how how??? I'm so afraid of being old liao...

Been so busy meeting up, that I had to postpone the one with DL's for today (Sorry Gal, will make it up to u). KY also chup ji kar a bit, coz she happened to be in Yishun, so I tot I could get her to accompany me while I wait for PZ. She even had wanted to go Sakae to eat, but she turned up as late as PZ, in the end, we just chit chat (I was looking so stoned and my brain so dysfunctional already) only. Like that also happy har? LOL.

Tonight no need sleep again lah, must at least finish one tutorial! Will I lose a lot of weight this way har? Then doesn't it mean I will get wrinkled skin! Eww... dun wan dun wan *Shake head shake head shake head*

I am so bloody full now... Had steamboat followed by a cup of azuki's coffee cooler at TCC. No doubt about it, I am very happy meeting my poly astro friends, even thought we teased and suan each other, we still happy about it. =)

Today in school I was super duper malu!!! I wanna joined my friends at the table, and little did I noticed the wet ground. So just when I was about to call out my friend's name, I went "UH!!!!! AH!!!!!" and plonked on the table. I counted myself lucky that I didn't fall flat on my butt... -_-" Anyway, I was cool enough to pull it off and laughed about it. Ha ha ha. It was really funny lah...

Tired... Tmr last day of work le... must concentrate on study!!! Motivation! Ganbatei!

Jamie spilled some Milo on my notes just now, wah, I went berserk... but heng I had just placed my circuit board up to the shelf, if not also kanna, then I would become psychopatic, coz I spent a lot of time redo my circuit, spoil it means end of the world loh...

Went for FOC-Gl interview again, =), GL again next year, hee hee hee. KY so funny, today she was present when I asked SH whether she was going for the FOC interview, and she replied she was going to be programmer. Then, when we were at hall, KY asked me SH's progarmming skills very strong ar, go and interview for programmer. LOL, she mistook the FOC programmers as computer programmer.

I really ought to be studying, and not blogging... :P Haiz.. kept procrastinating... If not wanna wait for a "good time" to study...

Today is another day of non-productive day, coz not enough sleep, insomnia and dunno why all mosquitoes attacking me. But mahjong perks me up, ha ha. Thank god I won... I really have to rest well, even my horoscope is teling me to take a good rest, takes plenty of rest and pamper myself!

Busy busy busy

Oh man... I'm dying already lah. Spent 5 hours connecting the dreadful PCB, in the end still had so many problems. The best way was to redo everything, bo bian, error checking would take more than 5 hours, and I only attend lab once a week, not enough time for me to troubleshoot. Luckily, my project partner (PP) so nice, helped me with the labels and stuffs, so all I need is to see and then connect from the layout. It would be much easier than I do it myself since I could hardly understand the project (The lecture would be useless so I had skipped). PP was very "scheming" for a good cause, I think he gek siao want to do hardware, was to do everything nice nice for me, so I don't have to crack my brain too much. Maybe he was scared and afraid I would screw his grades for this, mu ha ha ha. Neh... I shouln't think bad abut him, he's a nice ah beng. =D

I realised my long forgotten cute magnetic calendar, was being "updated", despite the fact that I had no time to look at it anymore. I just so happened to take a look just now, and saw that the "day" was at the correct day, that was Sat, 16th. I think Jamie had fun helping out herself with the calendar. =) That little brat, ha ha... Jia told me she was dancing to Pink's song while wearing the headphone, and she didn't even realise Jia was peeking from behind. Funny gal... if only she would put as much effort for her studies... -_-"

Screw my school, 2 hours for exams. I was telling my "boss" about my exams and also the shortened duration, she was from my Uni also, and she asked why didn't anyone of us wrote a petition? It struck me real hard, "Yah har, why we didnt do that?" Unlike the increase of school fees, where SU made a lot of noise, this time round, it seems like everyone accepted the fate. Maybe because the people in SU are mostly non-engineering students, so they don't see the big hoohaa about the 30 minutes. Wah liew... I am super duper busy, but yet I don't see stuffs get going (Did I mention this before?) Been sleeping for about 4 hrs the past one week, and a drastic lost of 2 kgs, but then everything came bacl after a 8 hrs sleep and nice breakfast and dinner. Damn... so fast... Starting my partial study routine from today (Sun), really have a lot to catch up, so I guess I would be blogging lesser than before le... Sob sob, don't miss me k? I'll update if I have anything interesting... Most likely will be during my study break which will start on 25th. Even before that, I already have appointments. =)

Shall try to complete revision for one module everyday. That's like completing 6 tutorials. Time for revision in total:

(7 modules x 7 weeks of materials x 2 hours every week) + (6 tutorials x 2 hours to complete) = 110 hrs

Hmm... recess week = 9 days = 216hours

Excess hours: 216 - 110 - 81 (sleep and bath) = 25 hrs

That's like almost 8 hours for each appointment, should be okay lah hor... *sheepish smile...

Time to ZZZ, have to get up at 8am to go eat my favourite breakfast! =D

Busy

I know I hardly update my blog entries nowadays, and thus many of you couldn't get a good hearty laugh these few weeks. Been really busy, but also dunno with what, just felt that my time is not enough.

Travelling to school everyday is a HUGE torture. 1.5 hours is no joke, even though I had experience before. However, unlike work, school totally left me with no air to breathe, time is just not enough.

I screwed myself very badly by giving up my room, sianz... then JT and LY had wanna help to get a room for me, so when Roomie (Ex roomie now) got a room, I told her to reject, in case JT found a room for me. In the end, neither here and there, not only JT had to sought many people's help and this had been going for a long time, but I didn't hear any news from her. Felt really bad to trouble her to trouble so many people all because of me. Should have asked Roomie to get the room and be more hard hearted to ask her to move. Then I can take back my own room and gather with my OG every week, :( Missed the steamboat with them today, :(

Anyway, 2 good news:

1. We finally had a proper family photo!!! Taken on Jamie's birthday 2 weeks ago. There was a previous attempt on my 21st birthday, about 2 years ago, but Jia and me made Minmin cried coz we hurt her. Try being the meat between 2 breads, tell me u cry or not?!? Ha ha ha. Think got other family photos, but don't seem to recall leh.

2. I joined NTU Astronomical Club, as Publicity Main Comm, gonna do a lot of designs for now. Time to pick up my paintbrush again. Almost forgot how to draw and remember how I love to draw and design till I see my primary and secondary arts portfolio. I got good grades leh! Check this poster I did for NTUAS, not exactly hand drawn, but still, need some creativity to design right? Ha ha ha.

3. My blog is gonna be 1 year old! On 12th September, so please wish my blog "Happy Birthday!"

Wa sai, just finished cleaning the dust on my PC system, today cleared the dust on my blog. Ha ha, too long didn't blog liao...

Jia and I went to Comex on Friday, walked until my legs trembled lor! We bought some new items for our beloved PC system, now it looks so stylish.

• A new 17" LCD monitor. We are already very lagged, people now buy 19".
• Wireless keyboard and mouse. No more hassle of long wires. Yeah!
• 28 watts speakers. The music bass is so clear that you just feel like dancing to any music. =)

I got a webcam and head phones for free! Can webchat le... =D

But then, my monitor had one dead pixel, think they got to replace 1-for-1 for me. Sianz, I stayed up until 4 am (Played mahjong until 2 plus, hee hee) to tie wires and make the table neat leh...

Exasperated, she came to my side and picked up her green pen.

She had wanted me to help her pick her pen... -_-"

No hole for me to hide... So I acted normal and replied, "Heh heh, Paiseh ar, just woke up is like that de, cannot think", deep inside, I so much wanna screamed and pulled my hair.

Her friends and she thought I was cute and funny, and kept cutting off her sentence. BLEAHZ!!!

Bad habit number 1: Late Late Late

I used to be a very punctual girl, never once was I late, be it to school, to outings, to anywhere.

But I changed when I was in polytechnic, coz many of my classmates were fond of being late, as they like to wait for each other (those staying near each other) before meeting up at the designated place. There were 2 incidents that they turned up so late that I blew my top, the 2nd being triggered by the 1st incident. Ever since, I also turned up late as usual, since they wou;n't be punctual anyway, but I have my own rule of smsing them first that I will be late, that's the advantage of mobile phones right? This is an act which I hardly see from them.

Now the habit is stucked, I am usually late whenever I am meeting a fren, mainly because I couldn't woke up, I dragged too much, or I spent too much time choosing what to wear and makeup (which is rare since I'm usually in tee and jeans and plain). Then when late, all sorts of excuses will be made.

However, recently 2 events shook me up from this bad habit.

I shan't mention the 1st, coz it doesn't really involve me as the main lead.

Anyway, I was heading to my hall's night event, I was already at the interchange. However, the IC who was on the phone with me said they couldn't wait for me anymore, and really had to leave (they booked at bus), so I told them to go ahead without me and I would go home. Ic feeling quite bad about it, talked to his another IC, and said they would wait for me. At this moment, the bus just drove past and went off. Pissed, I sort of shouted, "No need liao lah, bus run away liao lah, I not coming le lah!" He apologized and I told him not his fault since I was late.

I would have made it on time if the train hadn't paused for 5 mins. I would definitely made it on time if I didn't watch TV and dragged the schedule. I shouldn't have assume that they would not be on time. Haiz...

Anyway, now I must be on time again, wiat for people is better than people wait for u, coz late comers are losers, =\

School ish starting later at 8.30am... :(

Here I am using Z Hwee's laptop, coz I made a last minute decision to stay over at hall 9. As I had left in a hurry, I didn't prepare my clothes, lectures notes, pencil box and anything related to school, only a big bag of clothes, and I'm suppose to turn up for the Joint Hall Bash at Audi, think will go home and change... :D

I had just came back from FOC 06/07, and ish fun fun fun. I love my OG, they are so siao on, enthu and fun! Will update more when I get the whole collection of photos.

Just now went to have supper with my OG also, and we squeeze into Sek's Kangaroo, it was hot, stuffy and packed. Imagine 12 people squeeze into a mini van. Then I took order for their drinks, but hmm...

Fun Fun Fun

Today went out with a couple of international students, from France! There were 2 more from Norway, but they had medical check up, so I didn't get to see them.

We went shop shop walk walk at citylink, then to suntec, divert to esplanade, then back to suntec, then went to eat at lau pat sat. They had really small appetite, we order 30 satays, 2 popiahs, and one chapate (dunno how to spell), and we shared among 6 people. Tot the guy would have bigger appetite, but I ate more than him lor. At least he was game for the spicy popiah, the 2 other ladies dare not try tho.

Food really brighten people's mood up. We were so tired from the walking, and they looked so worn off. After we had our dinner, we were able to joke, talk crap, act funny things. We took shiteloads of pictures. Then Rasool and I each had our 招牌动作, with Rasool's being the best, she made the V-sign looked cool again, ha ha. Then we made them did what Rasool did. So fun.

Today went to help my mum with the Newton's apartment cleaning. Yeah!!! I finally get to see the puppy! Mum was telling me how obedient and cute the pupy was... Of course, I did not go there with the purpose of seeing the dog, I really did help out with the cleaning hor, coz Mum was shagged out from the Thailand trip, then today still wanted to go work, so I also tagged along to help her lor.

The puppy is a cocker spaniel, if not wrong, but not too sure the exact breed. Poor Pebbles, she kept tagging behind my butt and I stepped on her thrice! Then have to lock her inside the kitchen, coz she kept licking the water in my pail, licking my arms, running in between my legs, hindering my work. But she is also a sweet little thing, she just lie down quietly when Mum and me were in the kitchen cleaning. Oh yah, her name is very nice, Pebbles. Don't ask me why the 's' in her name, I saw it on the fridge (the owner did a collage and printed her name there)

Haiz... I miss her so much now, and also Peanuts, Jingx2's dog. When will I have my own dog? :(

Had a really bad day at work. I screwed up the numbering and the project IC said, "You are SUPPOSE to finish key punching by TODAY!" Wah liew, why didn't u say so when I came in, only to tell me when I'm rushing off. In the end, was late and cannot fectch Terror home, then when on the phone with Jing Jing, knocked my arms into the glass door. Damn painful siah...

Really loathe the face she gave me, like I'm some kind of dirt like that. You didn't tell me in the start to place the biggest numbering on top; you didnt tell me you are to close your case next week; you didn't tell me I have to finish 700 surveys key punching in one day; you only tell me to do the numberings and nothing else; ENOUGH HOR! 你什么都没有讲好好，出岔子是才找碴！

Arter the big bug frightening incident, I had another small bug disgusting happening. My own mother, placed a REAL, DEAD, bug right in my PALM!!!

Win liao lor, they derived happiness, laughter and pleasure from my misfortune. Wah biangz...

Anyway, this morning damn malu, a guy called me, in my partial awake status, I tot he was my fren, coz his voice very similar. Turns out he was from Adecco, -_-!!! Asking me if I'm still looking for a job... And I like drowsily speaking, "Hello, 'Ah Meng' ar? Hello?"

What a big bug!

Wah lao, yesterday was so kan cheong watching "The Mummy Returns", then got one bug come and joined me make me panic. Jamie was there screaming repeately, "Da Jie, got bug on your shoulders!" and I was still glued to the TV. It was 10 seconds before I realised she was talking to me. "Sure or not sure or not?" I keep asking her to confirm it was really there. For those of you who knew me damn well, I hate bugs... I jumped to my feet and shaked my shoulders to fight that bug off, and I managed to take a picture of it before it was crushed to death.

Senior's Camp

Having Senior's Camp now, while waiting for dinner (I'm starving~~~), using the hall's PC to blog.

It'e a lot of waiting, chit-chating, dozing, but overall, quite fun. We are having our Gost's Walk tonight at Changi's Barrack, which is beside Changi's Hospital, woo... woo... woo... seems scary... I am scared... I scared I will pee in my pants when I'm being booed.

This afternoon when I brought her to school, we were on the topic of tooth decay. She said she had one decayed tooth getting removed. Then I subconciously touched my jaws and mumbled something about the wisdom tooth. Then she exclaimed, "大姐，你拔牙了hor? 我看到你有cotton wool 在你嘴巴里面，还有blood leh!"

Of course, I ｄｅｎｉｅｄ having my tooth removed, but she kept insisted that I bluffed her.

She even said,＂你不要骗我ｈｏｒ! 我有眼睛看的，OK？我不是瞎子hor，OK？你不要骗我ｈｏｒ!＂

She won the arguement, I laughed until I pengz, cannot even walked properly.

I was giving Jamie Chinese Spelling just now. After the 1st round, she sprinted to another room asap, and laughing her heart out. When I take a look at her book, then I knew why. 拉着，she wrote as la着，喜欢 she wrote as xihuan. She really kiam par!!!

Then next, I was folding some bedsheets, I was almost till the end when Jamie offered to help, but since I was finishing already, I "act act" like I don't want her help, and quickly pulled 2 pillow cases (thinking they were bedsheets) and said hastily "No need no need". As it was quite hilarious to see me pulling the pillow cases away from her, machiam she got disease or something, she couldn't stop laughing and commented, "大姐，你为什么那么冲动？！？" When asked her whether she knew the meaning of the word 冲动, she replied without sweat, "Rush lor!"

Training

It's confirmed, I'm now officially going for cooking lesson under my mum's guidance. WHY? Well.. Can say it's my ultra teeny weeny small mouth fault.

When Mum came home in the late afternoon, she was telling me the dilemma she faced about continuing servicing the Newton apartment. Although there was a lot of things to be done, but the good thing was the tenants never complained. Yet, it would means she will be in a hurry to fetch Terror after school. So I checked my timetable and found out that my Tuesday timetable ends at 3.30pm, so I happily offered to fetch Terror. But Mum had other plan when she knew how early I end on Tuesday.

"Then good lah, you can make it on time to cook dinner, fetch Min Min then after that clean floor. Since now you also helping me to cook for me (under her supervision), then okie lah, from now until your school reopens, can teach you some more dishes." (-_-!!!)

Me now officially training for future liao... Ma Si Bo Lang Ai... Ha Ha Ha.

Ooh... AMKSS scored pretty well for the 全民创意争霸赛 (It's Show Time!), even tho I already grad from the school donkey years ago, I am still proud that they did so well， 全身起鸡皮疙瘩！ Good job, 创意八根草！Feel like singing... "Alma Mater Dear.. To Thy We Sing Your Praises..." Ha ha ha!

That Chao Terror was so fast in telling me the English name for 全民创意争霸赛, asked her spelling wasn't even as fast as this lor.

How to know you are in the correct weight range?

Met DL on fri, told her about my method of knowing urself in the correct weight range, is the simplest method among all.

Basically, just take the last 2 digit places of ur height as a guage, i.e. for example, a guy who is 170cm tall, his weight should not exceed 70kg, but can plus 5kg if he has heavy bone. His standard weight will be 60 kg roughly, plus minus 5kg. Same logic for a gal, but her max. weight cannot exceed the last 2 digits of her height. For example, me 158cm, 58kg is the max, albeit a little chubby, standard will be 48kg, and cannot be less than 43kg, i.e plus minus 5kg too. Anything over or under will be classified as underweight and overweight. So simple right? No more complicating Maths to do, fumbling for a calculator to dop the BMI somemore...

My target is 60kg, but by end of year is to hit 70kg first. :(

Being Polite

Went to work again, today was better, made a total of 7 calls. I can see my pot getting full again, ha ha ha.

On my way to work today, a middle-aged Herbalife agent stopped me in my path. While she enquiring details about me (Geez, she tot I'm 18, must be my dressing lah! Ha ha), a young lady came to join her. At this point, the older lady was asking me if I felt that $3 per meal was expensive, well, I definitely say it was coz now I spend less than $2 per meal, even in sch, also not more than $3. Then the young lady quipped, "But $2 give u this kind of figure ar?" She was giving that kind of "wah lau, u stupid is it?"

I must say that she was very very very very RUDE! I am a consumer, your customer, how dare u be so rude? The older lady was damn pissed I think, she was hinting to the young one to keep her mouth shut. When I relate the story to Yilin, she was very worked up, and keep scolding them.

I think the GEMS works on customer, not on working personnels?

Well, is quite an ironic how Pamela Anderson, Britney Spears, and any Hollywood celebtrities tried to stuff as much silicon as possible into their limited breasts cup. Someone I know, is desperately trying to cut her size down to B. I am a not so proud owner of 36C (or 90C, me not trying to haolian hor, me is fat, so those are overweight burden) lump of fats. There she was, whose 2 lumps of fats appear bigger than me, claimed that she was a B. Holy cow, the only mammal that has tits bigger than her will be the China's Fattest Man I guess. She even commented that it was what she saw on her bra tag. I flipped and saw, on the overwashed tag that had appeared to be tattered, but print was visibly clear, D lor...

No wonder she felt suffocated... try squeezing a baby's mitten into ur gigantic palm lah... Wah ha ha ha, it's a wonder it wasn't deformed!

In case u all wonder what makes me so lag in blogging, well well well, a little busy... entertaining the Terror also. Not that my life is very boring recently, is just the opposite.

And surprisingly, even I am surprised by myself, I am READING, once inch thick combined novels (from Reader's Digest), something which I was so disgusted in the past. At this same time, the N70 joker finally cleared her stuffs from my house and miracleously found 3 other such books, much to my delight. I need to utilise my time usefully now... The same joker told my mum to move her things for her, stupid.

Went to fix a PC today, to no avail, but I just pronounced it "unrevival". Then went back to hostel to collect, not my stuffs, but Roomie's one. A bit pek chek, coz before that she too paiseh to longpang me, and now she buay paiseh to request me to hual it back to my house from hostel. If she had agreed to let me bring in earlier, could have longpang Dad's taxi that time. Luckily Mum was with me, coz it was a lot of stuffs. Haiya...

Shall extort a BIG treat from her, mu ha ha ha. Not angry, just peeved coz she just shoot me an email to request me to bring it back to my house, no earlier notice. Nvm... on the account that she's been nice and ke ke qi qi to me... And I guess this would be the last time, since me no longer in hall... Bleahz!

Went jogging with Jenny just now, then as usual, we yak yak yak for a few hours. Then we moved to the topic of weight and size, on how we measure physically whether we gain fat or not.

Severly Obese: U don't feel uncomfortable lying on hard floor, coz basically u r a human cushion. Everywhere is padded.

Slightly Obese: U actually feel pain when u knock ur elbow against hard surface, or always knock ur hip. This shows that fat is missing from there, so u had lost some weight.

Obese: After lying on hard floor, there is pain lingering in ur tailbone. Reason same as above, fat is disappearing.

Just Fat: U actually can see the knuckle on ur wris and the collar bone t. (Is it called knuckle? Me not sure... )

Plump: Ur collar bone can collect rainwater.

She has more men friends than women friends, so do not be a jealous type if you date her. Recently has such symptons of getting along wif guy frens... but galfren are still my darlings... *wink *wink She could be slightly jealous, but she hates jealous guy. She is not a vulnerable type, so do not have to worry about her, she will survive by herself. Me is tough wor... She has many type of jobs because she beliefs what a man can do, I can do. If you want her to work for you, forget it. When she is in love, she will just leave her job in the day time just to come to see you, but not for long she will go back to work seriously again. Prepare to live and love with a "Working Woman" then you will be OK. Me not workaholic lah!

If she mad, find a shelter for the "Hurricane" is here! Her bad temper will last very shortly though. Hmm... I have to agree... She is not a revenge type and will not think of "pay Back" time. Me is nice person, 不记仇... Most people might think of her as "One of a guy", but in fact she is a 100% woman. Oh my god, I once said guys treat me like I'm a guy! She is easily hurt, so be nice with her. If she really loves you, then you are lucky because she is an honest, truthful and will never bored you. Tiring and Fun day

Went to Boon Lay to help my mum's fren fix PC, turns out to be a messy problem: it will auto shutdown and restarts. Spooky... After consulting my ex-worker, could be due to virus invasion.

Then went to IMM, that chao minmin refused to go home after we bought out items and sulked like a little brat. Buay tahan, gave her a light slap on her face and then she stooped sulking, but was crying bitterly. An hr later, she was fine and started snuggling me again... haiz.. kids....

Then at Northpoint, a sales uncle was suay to approach me which I was just awake from my nap. Coz Mum wasn't with us, so he started his sales with, "Madam, how old is ur kid? Do u want to buy this (some educational gamecards I think)?" DANG! I turned and looked at him dead, answered him coldy, "She's not my kid". I could have just answer "No" and walked away... grouchy lah...

Went jogging with Jenny, but dropped by at Yilin's house first. Wah... Yilin got SCV in her room and there, we were stucked watching Victoria's Secrets fashion show. Those top models... had legs that never ends... Had tummies so flat like paper, had looks of angels... Oh man, they are not human, they are aliens!

Then we "ransacked" Yilin's items, wowed she become so feminine siah... her makeup items and beauty products a lot leh... Had fun testing the perfumes, concealers and checking out the eyeshadows and blushers. We were atthere from 8pm to 10pm, then Jenny and I finally went to jog. Ha ha.

Then Jenny dropped by my house to check out a cardigan I'm selling to her, and also to give her a boardshort. Then she started "ransacking" my wardrobe, wah ha ha. There she was "admiring" my clothes. Heh heh, paiseh, didn't mean to make you feel envy de... lets worked hard changing our clohes sizes! Hee...

Then had a long chat with her about primary school... like me, she had smoked her way in primary school. Buay pai leh, smoked her way to top scorer, however, life isn't always a bed of roses or lavenders lah. Shall not say too much (actually was we talked too much then dunno how to start)

Dread tmr (later actually), only me and Minmin alone a home... Home Alone... Yikes... Min Min The terror!

• story ended and you still bug me to continue
• play with the handphone and on the "wedding march" ring tone non-stop

Some fren's fren's fren wishes to know me leh. Must be tat very chio picture tricked him that I'm chio. Muh ha ha ha. Hope he's not some desperado bugger, and had read my profile clearly. I did state very CLEARLY that "in the event I ignore u (make new frens one), that means u r irritating." Is it me who attracts weird guys or weird guys like BBW? Anyway, just pray hard that he's decent!

Actually, he looks like Nelly/50 cents/ any black rapper. Ha... :P

update: chatted to him in yahoo messenger, seems quite fine, not very doubtful about him. I better dun 以小人之心，度君子之腹 lah. A pretty nice chap to chat with.

Happily at Home

Yeah... finally at home le. Feels damn good, but coz I slept until 2pm yesterday, couldn't get to sleep last night, tossed and tossed in bed until freaking 4am in the morning then I zzz. BUT, my alarm rang off at 8am, and 3 minutes later my mum woke me up, telling me to get prepared to eat breakfast. I sat cross-legged, hugging my beloved pillows, my head bobbing up and down to hint my mum I got her msg. The moment she closed the door, I flopped back on my bed again...

Had a long night unpacking my rubbish/gems/stuffs from hostel. Then iron some clothes that were creased from the foldings. Jia was so funny, she had took the trolley down to contain my files and books. Then when she came koking (sound made by the trolley when going down the stairs) with trolley, 2 big bags and a small bag, she bellowed in a witty fashion: Garang Guni, siew bo chua, ku sakor, pai radio, pai dian shee kee! Garang Guni!

Wa nang si chio ka pengz! (We laughed until pengz!)

Then just return from hostel returning the keys. And they just changed the electrical outlet, new softboard and new switches. Poor Roomie, gotta wash all her clothes again. It was really dusty from all the reno, not the dust kind of dust (the kind when I dun sweep the floor, :P)

At least they had cleaned the fan, the blinds and the floor already. Hee hee...

Just now Bus uncle sleepy siah, drive the wrong route, some passengers tot they board wrong bus, so kan cheong to get off the bus, they didn't even realised Bus uncle was trying to go back meh...

Too much fun = pocket empty

Oh gosh! I really need to control myself... Was shopping at J8 yesterday. Met Kim to pass her the present, had lunch at Ding Tai Feng (food nice, thx for the treat Kim!), and we window shopped and chit chat. After she left, I met Jenny (hey, thx for being such a loyal audience, so touched!) and we had drinks at MOS and again, combed the floors again. It was such a terrible feeling of "see no touch" for many items. Got a good bargain at P.O.A, a denim skirt for only $20 Hee hee.

I really heart this 2 gals. Kim, forever generous with her compliments. The moment she saw me, she said I grew taller (did u say I became pretty also? LOL), and asked if izzit because I slimmed down again. Me just grinz and grinz and answered, "Maybe bah..." then the etc etc story about my bao diet in hostel. Mu Ha ha ha. After she left and I was alone, waiting for Jenny, suddenly it struck me! Not I grow taller wor, it was because she had always wore HIGH HEELS when she met me in the past, and me FLAT SOLE. Today, she joined the FLAT SOLE club, thus her eye level, maybe dropped from my head to my eyebrow, thus the illusion of me TALLER. Logical right? Ha ha ha!

And Jenny with her forever contagious laughter. This gal ar, damn funny, hearsay from a commom guy friend, Elwin, that "The Siqi now is the slimmest I ever known", then was dying to see how I looked like now. First of all, thank you very much for this "slimmest" comment, me now is not the slimmest yet, maybe because I wore more tight=fitting clothes, thus appeared slimmer. Hee hee hee. Jenny had met me more times than Elwin in the past few years (obviously coz I only caught up with him this year oni...), so she should have seen me during my slimmest period. Anyway, compliments are free, so no harm shower me more of that lah hor. Quote of the day belongs to Jenny: 你瘦到没屁股! (You slimmed down until your butt is flat!) -_-!!! Am I? Me no more perky butt.... :P

It was great hanging out with them, despite we only met once in a long long time, but can still crap from heaven to hell together. Hee... thanks gals, me had a great time!

Happy School Holidays!

Yeah!!! Finally it's over!!! Gonna kia kar for 2 months, hee hee. Thinking of taking the web designing job, but I dun have prior experience except my FYP. Haiz... got to get more info from Jenny first.

Today went K box with my DIP teammates, kaoz, Austin sure can sing, he knew almost every song, can fight with Wynter liao. He was also very funny, especially when he sang Andy Lau's "Toilet Bowl", really cracked us up! Then me as usual, joined in when I know the songs. :)

Haiz... work please....

Old and new

Was browsing through Friendster and I was surprised to see many whom I used to have fun with, wasn't in my Friendster list.

1. The "best frens" in primary school are so far away from me now, hardly keep in touch. Those who still with me are frens who wasn't in my clique, except in TAF.
2. The "best frens" in secondary school seemed to distant away also, due to the different paths we took (They went JC and I went Poly). I pondered about my actions in the past whenever we gather, I realised I still owe them: their birthday presents, other friends' birthday present money, meet ups. They are the ones who always gave me birthday presents using their hearts, but I gave them money only. Gosh!
3. My upper secondary classmates, not one ever invited me to their 21st birthday, except Amanda, which I conveniently rejected coz I feared to see the rest of them.
4. Poly life is short, but still glad my friends are still with me.

I realised, the excuse "busy" is very lame. No matter how busy we are, we could always find time to do other things like watching tv, taking a nap, shopping, etc etc, but never had the time to make a call to ask "how are you?", 5 minutes to write a mail, 1 minute to send an sms. New friends will always enter our lives, but that does not mean we have no time for the old friends. The old friends are those who accompany us thru the awkward stages (puberty) in life, share the same sentiments to those freaky teachers, been thru the most glamorous time (competition etc).

It all boils down to whether we are making an effort to keep in touch or not. (Too many frens is not an excuse!)

YH's camara damn powderful!

As I requested, YH sent me the photos took last Saturday. The resolution was so big! I could see the uneven makeup on my face, my scars and untouched area! Just imagine, when I make it to original size, my head couldn't even fit into my laptop screen, and I had to scrooooooooooooooooooooll so much!

It could be due to the flashlight, or I think it was just me... 3 shades of tones! Geisha makeup, ha ha ha.

I totally love this shot! And I realised my expression for every shot is the same... just different angles that's all... :P

The Omen

Since today and tomorrow I do not have to go to school, I went to watch a movie yesterday night, The Omen, a remake of the 1976 horror film.

I am lousy when it comes to watching scary flicks, even though I know it's fake; it's just a movie; those are effects! But I still can't helped it when the climax come and my hands would auto-gear to my face. I knew the movie achieved it's objective of scaring people to HELL when the egoistic males ooh and aah and cover their faces with their palms. We (me and other movie goers) were scared silly! We were so engrossed in the movie itself... I don't think I will be that scared if I'm watching at home, coz the screen very small.

Too bad the ending isn't what I expected: I hope the kid die. Since he didn't die, I expect The Omen 2, coz there seem to have some leeway for a 2nd part.

Improvement!!! Yeappie!

Yesh! Cleared all my modules! No Da bao! A lot of "bees".... albeit lousy "bees", but nair mind, I have equal number of "bees" and "dogs" now, next semester JIA YOU!

P/S: Don't think can plan 3 days time-table, I have 7 modules, 1 lab (could be 3) and 1 project. Doubt I can take photography class liao...Have to wait till Year 4 then...haiz!
