Bimbo and Act Cute!

Mu ha ha ha, it was really fun yesterday! We kept reminding each other that we must be bimbotic and act cute. So when we were looking at items, we would comment in such a bitchy and bimbotic fashion. Diyumi was good at mimic the classic "act cute" voice of Rainie Yang, repeating "好奇怪哟!" N times. I told her that I must be the only fren who could tahan her acting cute, and she confessed that her other frens just asked her to shut up when they buay tahan. I told her straight in the face: "When I buay tahan, I'll just kicked you in the butt and made you fly away! Ha ha ha"
As we arrived a bit too early at NYDC, only 2 customers were there. So we went shop-shop in the Heeren. Yet, we were just so engrossed yakking to each other that we didn't see much stuffs. So we headed down to NYDC again to eat and chat.

Who makes a better spokeperson?

Then we finished and made our way to Cineleisure, where we saw a group of people at the basement 1, queueing for something. Then I spotted my friend (from ex work place) and went to look for her. She was very surprised to see me in such a feminine look and as usual, yak yak yak. Then we started to take pictures machiam some superstar like that and before I bid byebye to her, she hugged me twice. -_-!!! (she has big assets and I was having difficulty hugging her!) Anyway, thanks YH, you made feel like a celebrity for taking pics and hugging me! :P

Too bad we did not take full length body pics, if not can show you all my snowy ter-kah (pig's thigh) for I wore a skirt. They've been hiding under denim for so long, got to take a breather mah.

End the day when my fren came 2 hrs late to get book from me and waited for Jia to take the camera. Was tired and sleepy.

Thanks Diyumi for the sweet and pretty compliment-I think you just want to make me feel good coz you know you are ALWAYS more chio than me. Ha ha ha. :P

Thanks YH for the hug-you made me realise why guys like big boobs, hiak hiak hiak!

Thanks Jia for the quote-Damn classic! (The foundation I put on was too fair for my tone, and she just shot this out when she saw me: 现在流行 Da Vinci Code, 不是 Memoirs of a Geisha!)

Anticipating for the next outing with Diyumi again!

Happy Birthday Diyumi!

I thought how damn true it was! "Everything that can be done has been done, just wait and see what happens", it just seem to refer to my project. It's really in a state where we just hope for the best on Monday... It could also be refering to my exam results... :( out on Tuesday!
"Distract youself with fun adventures with friends. Do some mindless activities and soak up the latest news about what other people are doing", hee hee hee hee, I'm going out with Diyumi tmr loh, and we are just going to be bimbotic! (Psst... psst.. hear that? Siqi bimbo leh...) Ha ha, I know what a word to use to describe us, but indeed, tmr shall be a carefree day, no worries about project and exams. Instead, I shall worry what to wear, how to put my makeup, what shoes, what bag, what accessories! Going to be 超口爱"杨贵妃" tmr! Gah gah gah gah! Good to indulge in girly stuff once a while, to remind myself I'm a lady! HArdyly got the chance during school time, coz my wear is standard: Jeans and tee, convenient mah!
Diyumi, Happy 22nd Birthday! Glad you like that prose. BTW, I didn't mean doing the prose was mindless lah, I wanted to tell you is about our outing tmr is going to be mindless (be happy lah!), but before I can type Prof Saliva-too-Much came lor, thus I couldn't get back to you!
We take lots and lots of pics tmr, k? Yeah!

Test again...

Signs that I'm stressed up!

  1. Sleep more than 3 hrs of nap
  2. Blog more than 3 entries per day
  3. Eat more than 3 meals
  4. Refused to do other things except these 3: eat, sleep, blog (Damn, I didn't even shit)
  5. All I can answer to people's questions are 3 words: "Hmm... okie... then?"

Totally lost my conversation skill. Roomie told me our exam for next semester will be over in 2 weeks. 2 weeks leh! What the hell, 3 papers consecutively for 3 days, pleas kill me. I'll die of overeating coz too stressed! I rather she didn't tell me, now I really feel like quitting school, and joined NP's degree program. Kaoz! Anyway, I only answered to her, "then; sianz; kaoz". The longest sentence was "Why we so kor mia?!?"

I damn broke, who got job offers?!? In a lot of debt shit leh... Then today still treat my teammates to pizza (coz Season W got staff discount and $5 voucher), ~$5o bucks for 13 people, okie lah... Especially the guys, always run errand to Sim Lim, very tiring and scorching hot. If I didn't go down yesterday, I wouldn't know that they had to hop around the places to find the suitable components. Who asked me to be leader, leader is a shitty job, the only glory is the name. At the very least, I got the respect as a leader even though I'm more of a general helper during the whole project, coz I dunno anything about the motor and gear things. BUT! At least I learnt things and understand them, that's what Prof Saliva-too-much always tell us. Then I doing the admin, report and presentation to compensate my inadequate knowledge.

Luckily Prof gave us the permission to buy the $226 gearbox, if not, fork out from our pockets! WT was out of desperation also lah, coz he wanna do well for our project, cannot blame him too much also.

Jobs, I need jobs!

Egg Tart

It's been ages since I last ate egg tarts, few years maybe? Then yesterday, 3 teammates and me went down to Sim Lim to get some gears, and we went to eat at the Banquet at Raffles Hospital. Then Sue bought an egg tart which she ate it when we were waiting for our bus back to sch, and she gave me half. Glorious taste!

Then today, I went down to my old workplace to borrow projector, thus on the way to buy some bread for me, Roomie and KCQ. Then at the cash counter, I saw egg tarts...

NICE!

The custard is smooth, not lumpy and not too sweet, and the thickness of the crust is just nice too. When I bite it off, there were no crumbles and the sweetness of the custard linger inside my mouth, made me craved even more. Yummy...

IT MOVED!

Yeah!!! It's moving it's moving it's moving! Look! (The gears isn't fit nicely, so he had to nudge a little)

I almost died...

from running round half of the school compound... leg aching now... Today is a good night for star gazing wor!
Another 1 week and 3 days, I'll be free!!! Yes yes yes! Encountered problems for my project, at least we manage to resolve using the least budget, we almost had to spend $226 for a circuit, coz it has to be send to Japan! Kaoz... He was a bit rush lah... now he got the nickname "Smoke King",, not because he smoked, but because kei-kiang. BUT! At least now he would listen to some of us liao...
Going to be busy the whole of next week... won't be blogging much! Say oni lah... hiak hiak hiak hiak!
Feel like changing my blogskin... Dunno when I'm hardworking leh...

2 new members: 飞天小猪 and 猪比特

*Drum Rolls*

Let me proudly present to you, my 2 newest members to the PigSty, 飞天小猪 and 猪比特!

This fella got his name in a interesting way. Guess it! Hint: It has wings, just like a BIRD. Can't guess? Well, not very long long long ago, when I came home from JB on Saturday, couldn't contain my excitement and showed off these 2 fellas. When Jamie saw it, she immediately "announced": "This is a Piggeon! Just like Pigeon!". ( -_-''') 飞天小猪 is his chinese alias name, coz I tot it was cute. I was relating the Piggeon story to my teammates, getting them to guess the name my 7 year old sister gave, and Pang guessed this name. 超口爱呢!

I tot of the chinese name first, coz it has a heartshape tail, so I called it 猪比特 (丘比特), thus the name Cupig (Cupid).

Kawaii des ne!!!

I'm a 生活白痴!

I broke my mum's mug, a gift from a tenant in her old workplace, just now. My mum was baffled, so am I, as how could I possibly broke the mug when I was already going to place it in the rack after washing. This morning made an attempt making bak chang, also very the "no skill". I think other than washing and rinsing clothes, I have no other practical skills. Sad.. the once multi-skillful me is vanishing! Sob sob...
Felt so detached when doing things sometimes... Can't even multitask now. 为什么?!?!?!?

Fun at JB

Wah sai, today I conquered 3 shopping complexes in JB, 2 restaurants and 1 movie with Roomie and KCQ, and my expenditure was only S$50 leh (Got leftover somemore)! Damn shiok! Feel like a rich charboh over there, mu ha ha ha. I bought a pair of really cheap jean, a serviet dispenser (Mama been looking for it) and a boardshort for Jamie. Didn't get Jia anything coz I really couldn't find something suitable for her. Wanna give her the jean, but she refused coz of my jeans turnover rate is higher, so she dun wanna rob me of this pathetic jeans which I got for myself which has a likely "lifespan" of 6 months only.
Luckily got KCQ drove us around, if not I wouldn't be able to cover so many places also. However, I find KCQ a bit naggy, coz whenever I wanna buy something, she would have a lot of comments. Some were out of good intentions, like help me save money and this kind I really appreciated, but some were really getting on my nerves. Like I wanna buy the wife's biscuits at the restaurant we had dinner, then she suggested the bakery at City Square, and then further commented why not but the cakes at Secret Recipe for my sister, and blah blah blah, a lot of suggestions lah. In the end , I decided not to buy any food coz for the next one month, my house surely have a lot of dumplings to be served as meals. Ha ha. Even when we walked past optical shop, she also wouldn't spare and stated the "You should buy here..." chanting scripture. Next time shall get her to buy things for me liao.
Bought myself 2 handphone accessories too. It was piggy design and they are like SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute k! Just couldn't resist the temptation and bought them, 2 for RM$12, if it was in Si'pore, I think I would only buy one of them. Since in JB, everything machiam "hap-price", so I bought them both. Wanna take pic of them, but Olympus for no battery and Kodak with Jia, took with Nokia but dun wanna switch on laptop just to upload these 2 cuties, so upload them another day, Jamie made a very witty pun remark, "froze" Jia and me so much that we couldn't react.
We went shopping after watching "X-men: The Last Stand" (almost type as X'men, like X'mas like that), and it was our shopping spree next. When I asked "What's there good to buy?" Both of them actually recommended.... drum rolls... Sanitary Pads! -_-''' coz damn cheap lah. I dun want to buy but both of them still convinced me to buy coz it was cheap and we used every month. They only stopped when I told them of the possible scenerio when I reached home:
Mum: So what you bought in JB?
Me: Sanitary pads! Offer some more!
Mum: ?!? You went JB jut to watch movie and buy... THIS?
A good one to stop them. I mean I know it's CHEAP but it doesn't mean I MUST buy. There everything also cheap, so must I buy everything? Haiyoh! Go to JB and jusy buy pads? HA HA HA HA, machiam SG dun have like that.
We had our lunch at the "Food and Tea", aka "欢喜厅" at Jusco. It is a Hong Kong style food cafe. I ordered Cheesy Sphaggeti with Chicken Chop and a Yuen Yang (coffee and tea mix), thumbs up. Thumbs down for not having the dessert I want and blur service. The guy wore a very "sart" specs, but he was damn blur. The utensils he got for us were 2 forks and a knife, hello, we have 3 people, so is 3 forks, okie! 2 ordered pizzas, so 2 knives, and I ordered sphagetti, so 1 spoon! Haiyoh haiyoh! Dinner was at a Shanghai food restaurant, hmm... food so-so, but deco 5 stars! Too bad I didn't take pics... was so engrossed with the menu lah, :P
And dunno why, sales people mistook me as M'sian and spoke Melayu to me, instead of replying "I dunno Malay", I replied "my Malay no good". Hee hee. Aku tak tahu! Saya tahu little bit. Correct or not har?
Overall, it was a fruiful and happy trip. Almost feel like moving there because the standard of living is so cheap, but there is no sense of security. Roomie was approached by a chao ah pek tackling her; KCQ always activated the master lock coz we scared baddies would just open the car door; Have to give way for some big shot (Dunno is Sultan or MP, anyway, non-chi) if not give summon; Grab our bags closely and of opposite directions when motorcyclists drove past us.
Every trip abroad makes appreciate SG even more, :)
Joke
"Small One" complained her phone battery cannot tahan very long, energy used up very fast. "Australia" then asked, wasn't her phone a Nokia? Nokia's battery lifespan very long leh. "Small One" then haolian she changed phone and not using Nokia anymore. So when asked what new model she got, she proudly answered, "N70!"

"I am a Nokia phone!"
Knowing her is such a disgrace.
P/S: Jia, didn't mean to be irritating last night when you told me to sleep early, was too concentrated with my PC. Dui Bu Qi!

Narcissistic

My tagboard was collecting dust and today someone finally tag it twice (for the month) on this long forgotten Chatterbox. She commented "Nice photo shots", so the very "vain" me scrolled down to see the pics again and I noticed something, did you all notice it?
The 1st and 3rd picture is the same!
So to apologize for my mistake, here is another photo of me indulging in my favourite hobby: EATING!

1...2...3... Ah ha ha ha.

A nonsensical poem and a brilliant logo

I was updating my profile in Chillicrap, and sourcing for poems and quotes to make it interesting. Then I started getting "poetic" and came up with this:
I can cook, wash, iron, bake but I am not an Indo maid
Studying in the ulu land, turns me into psycho dame
Loves the stars but hates the maths
Contradiction is I'm best at
Cute and fat I may seem
Can be crazy if need to be
ChilliCrap the place I find
Seeking friends of common like
Go away if you're a jerk
People like you stain the world
Add me if you like this verse
Friendship might blossom from here
Till now I shall end my words
Waiting for your acknowledgment :D
Then I edit the verse for Friendster:
I can cook, wash, iron, bake but I am not an Indo maid
Studying in the ulu land, turns me into psycho dame
Loves the stars but hates the maths
Contradiction is I'm best at
Cute and fat I may seem
Can be crazy if need to be
Friendster the place I find
Friends of the long forgotten time
New friends are welcome here
To expand my decreasing circle
Go away if you're a jerk
People like you stain the world
Add me if you like this verse
Friendship might blossom from here
Till now I shall end my words
Waiting for your acknowledgment :D
Not a very fine piece of work, but considering for the past 22 years I had linguistic problem, I think it is already very good le. Say it's NICE (Stare hard at you.)
Today seem to be an artistic day for me, I also came up with a name and design for my telescope (project). Take a look:

Damn chio okie! I think the brand name can fight with Orion and Celestron. Say it's VERY NICE! (Pointing gun at you)

The Da Vinci Code

I was not interested in this hoohaa about this novel by Dan Brown, "The Da Vinci Code", coz my impression of it was boring/arid/bromidic/platitudinous/vapid, and being a reader who reads occassionally, it just did not strike my interest at all, especially when it is such a thick book somemore.
Then came the big promo/protest on this movie. Religious people boycotting the movie, resistance movement, almost everyone is talking about this movie. So I cannot be too suaku right, therefore I agreed to watch the movie when my teammates jioed me. A fren had roughly told me the gist of the plot, but not many spoilers lah, and she being a Muslim, dislike this movie for she felt it was very discriminating towards her religion. She told me that for those who did not read the book and do not understand Islam, Christian or Catholic would find it confusing. She had "psycho" me that this movie was no good. Still, I decide to watch it coz I'm really curious what's the story since I'm lazy to read the book.
My verdict of this movie:
entertainment: 7/10
plot: 8/10
overrall: 7/10
I'm kinda amazed by the author how he could link all these historical monuments together and devise such a plot. When we were leaving the theatre, a haoliao guy was telling his girlfriend that the sarcophagus was indeed real. Hmm... I'm always amazed by such imaginative author. For a free thinker, I think the movie is not bad, still worth watching lor.
Let me disclaim that I usually give thumbs up to a lot of movies. If you think it is no good, don't hantam me. :P

Kao, did not touch my proposal at all!

Still got the mood to set up flickr account... jiatlat...

Collect passport on Friday, :)

Procrastination

I've been procrastinating on my proposal, cannot like that anymore ar... must submit on Friday wor, have to let Prof Saliva-Too-Much read first. Stress! Stress! Stress!
My team is progressing well, albeit a bit slow lah, but at least they are doing something today. The girls were doing the metal filing and sawing, while the guys did the measurement and drawing. Hmm... seems mixed up right? Shouldn't the girls do the easier task of drawing and measuring while the guys do the sawing and filing. Well, these 2 girls LOVE to do all these chor task, and they were happy to do it. Although I do not have adequate knowledge on machinary and motors, but I realised that they were always able to pin-point any error or problems coz they had experience. However, just because they were girls, a lot of times the guys will "ignore" their comments.
Today, I sit in during their briefing. The girls, were posting a lot of problems to the HW leader, one of them said that the acrylic would break because the slot was too near the edge. Right after the briefing ended, one guy was testing the design, placing the parts into the slot, and indeed, it broke. Bo pian, ordered a new piece.
Seriously, I hope the guy who made most of the decisions would take the girls' advice more often, although their results aren't fantastic as his, but I must admit, they are good when comes to practical.
Tolong tolong, please put your man's ego aside.

Lazy

Lazy bug crawled to my ear and hypotized me: "Eat, sleep, eat, sleep", thus the lack in updates.
Went to trim my jungle eyebrow last Sunday (finally!), and got quite a shock. The lady had asked me, "You don't want too thin right?" In the end, it was too thin for my liking. It spanned 0.5cm from the front to 0.3cm at the end, to me thick is 0.7cm at the front. See...?
Now I felt very bare at the brow bone, have the tendency to keep touching it to confirm I have eyebrow. The most distinct difference was I looked fresher. On Monday, one of my teammate thought I put on makeup, coz she said I suddenly "looked" prettier (er hem...), another gal who was sharper noticed the vast difference in my brow and commented that it was due to the eyebrow trimming, and my eyes looked very bright and alert also, and because I wore contact lens, thus they were able to "scrutinize" it.
Hee hee...After the "prettier" comment, I phonecamwhored myself, at night lah, not after the my fren's comment. Me not so thick-skin yet...
Normal normal face, testing 1... 2... 3... Too close
Too far, and inappropriate objects in view

Nice shot, I like, although got big-small eyes and messy hair, but NVM, I didn't see my other chin. Ha ha ha

and for the FINALE...

Hope you can sleep well tonight. :D

Shitty Friday

I dunno why I thought the Survivor Reunion was on Fri... So I rushed back from NUS high, took a taxi, only to realise it was telecasted on Monday! Damn... waste my money....
And that chao WT (aka Goldfish) hit me so hard on my flabby arm today, wah lau, hurts like mad. The other guys also kanna stunned but still continued to laugh, biangz... 没风度。 We were joking around when this joker laughed until dunno what went wrong and slapped me hard. I suay suay was standing beside him. Kao, 老娘是不好惹地!Gave him a taste of my 铁纱掌 while he was concentrating on the project. Mu ha ha ha, sweet revenge. Msned him just now why he hit me, didn't give a satisfied answer and only know say sorry. It reminded me of my primary school days when I always fooled around in class in the back row with the boys (er hem, 像当年我是one of the tallest girls in class... -_-''')
借题发挥,do I really behave so boyish har? I just cracked a few lame jokes sometimes, knock knock people a bit, sometimes a bit "ruthless" when commenting people, action a bit chor lor, eat a bit faster blah blah blah, but that does not implies I'm boyish or manly. No matter how "AH" I'm with you (to the boys...) can treat me like a girl or not har, even if "boyish", I'm also a real lady with real tits lor! Until now, I hardly see any close guy friends treating me with gentlemenly behaviour, but to my friends who are "slightly" smaller or lighter me, it's another kind of treatment (okie, exclude Miss Xiao Ding Dang, she sometimes more chor lor than me, so the guys practically chor lor with her also).
Must I wear skirt than you all will realise I'm a girl/lady/woman? !@#$%^&*!"!@#$%^&*!

Face Job 2

I did another face job for the rejected photo, now I find my old one very ugly. Hmpf!

I miss her short crop hair.

Thursday, May 18, 2006

Face Job

I did a face job:
I made it more symmetrical.
I did liposuction on the cheeks.
I filled the obvious gaps.
I whiten the skin.
But ICA still approved my photo for my passport, WAH HA HA HA!
Another photo submitted in it's glory were rejected instead (not mine, :P).

Excuse me, I'm not pretty, but I'm not desperate

After reading Princess Diyumi's encounter, I'm also used to face the same problem, got a few freaks in Friendster last year. Why is it that people in any of those friend-making website, guys who come and befriend me are mostly
  1. very fat
  2. very thin
  3. very ugly
  4. very desperate
  5. very psychopathic
  6. a mixture
  7. non-Chinese

I do not condemn these guys (except point 5) if they are really sincere in making friends, but then, too bad, these are the ones who are SOOOOOOOOOO desperate to get their hands up in any girls' skirt that they anyhow hantam DO RE MI single and available girl whom they think the looks/sizes is not attractive enough to the norm guys (norm guys' standard is bamboo + 2 watermelons gal) but they think is OK and assume we will also approve them. Sorry hor, we would not want to walk around with desperate aliens. If ugly girls know how to groom themselves pretty, I don't see why those guys can't make themselves at least look neater and cleaner. Hide ur flaws, brudders! And please, tolong tolong, if character sucks, u look like Tom Cruise/Brad Pitt/Orlando Bloom also no use. Don't really think looks are everything, although to you guys it is.

Note: YOU=those desperate guys

Usually, the first impression we get, no doubt, is from looks. Sorry if you look very sorry, but you could have outshine your appearance with good character like being humorous, brainy, got "ink" (有墨水). Don't blame us if we don't want to talk to you, not because you are ugly, but because you are irritating. I know you don't have girlfriend, never been laid or have to look for prostitutes to get laid (as implied by, "I don't have girlfriend, so pitiful!"), but you also don't have to make yourself like it's really that pitiful without girlfriend, you still have your buddies. If you don't have friends, that means you something wrong. You just make yourself look really stupid with all the desperate tactics like "be my gf wan anot?", "can I date you?", "you single, I also single, perfect!", don't wonder why we don't talk to you next time coz we probably banned you as you had frightened us.

I know we are not pretty by society's standards, but we are gorgeous in OUR OWN standard! So, don't assume being fat = ugly = desperate. Excuse me, I think we girls (exclude bimbos, money grabbers and all black sheep) are more HIGH CLASS than you, we look deep into character and chemistry, and not appearances. Of coz those yandaos gain points for looks, but if they are stupid or himbotic, they lose twice the points. Got it? Ugly, never mind, as long ur character is fine.

Wu Da Lang was grateful he had such a pretty wife Pan Jin Lian and therefore treated her very well, but Jin Lian was attracted to Wu Song and Xi Men Qing coz both of them are more handsome than Wu Da Lang, obviously. Maybe to Xi Men Qing, Jin Lian was only one of all the beauties he flirted with, and Wu Song might find Jin Lian unattractive coz she had made herself a slut by seducing the Xi Men Qing. So moral of story: Looks are not important.

得体就好,不用很好看, 如果是混蛋,好看也没用啦!

And my standard not equal your standard, so don't judge us using your standard!

Pissed Peace, (-_-)Y

This You Jin and That You Jin

I was checking out Friendster and under the "Who Viewed Me", I saw a person by the name of Eugene. I was cursing and swearing why this guy is bothering me again (He smsed me a few days ago), and out of curiosity, I clicked his profile. Eh, he's attached leh, couldn't be what, if he was attached, how come he smsed me and wanna ask me out (chill run down my spine!!!) Out of curiousity, I went to see his photos, ORH!!!!!!!!!!!! PZ's bf lah. Scare me...

I'm a sucker for freebies

A new optical shop was having contact lenses promotion at Northpoint (today last day), and it so happened that the type I usually used was giving a lot of freebies which includes 2 rewetting drops, 2 cleansers, 2 Fila backpacks, and 4 contact lens boxes for a year of supply of contact lens plus 2 trial pair. Hmm... 6 months supply would have been enough, but actually thinking about it, if I buy 1 year supply, that means it could actually last me for 2 years, since I don't usually wear contact lens unless I had my KB lesson or I have this rare chance of dressing up. So kinda worth it since I could save my money for about a year. Sounds logical hor?
Anyway, I have this tendacy to explain grandmother's story when sales rep asked me questions and I could have settle them with a YES or NO. Like today, the contact lens promotor asked if I had wore contact lens before, I gave her a long story of I used to wear now didn't wear but still got a pair which was 2 months old which was to prepare me for any "emergency" blah blah blah. Then after I did an eye test in the shop, another promotor for contact lens solution asked me if i wanna try their brand and again I told him long story of I like B&L one, then I till have a bottle at home and blah blah blah. There was awkwardness. Bleahz!
Having a terribe headache, worsen when I thought I lost my friend's CD, searched high and low in the living room, my room, my cupboard. Thought I had accidentally dumped it in the rubbish together but I ruled out the probability since I did not see it yesterday. Suddenly recalled I possibly placed it on top of my tissue box, and voila! It had dropped behind thetissue box, phew! Thought I had lost it.
Can don't do project tomorrow? My headache is hurting!!!
伟大的妈妈,母亲节快乐!Somehow I sensed your envy when you asked me what colour I have for my pedicure. I promise I treat you to one when I get my first pay check during the hols. As for your long desired cake mixer, I'm sorry to tell you that you have wait for another year liao.

I'm a rubbish collector!

Cleared another mountain in my room, less things and more space now. Need the space for the stuffs in hostel.
Today is a stupid stupid day for me. I've been a mountain turtle for so long that I can't even analyse and troubleshoot a very simple problem: You know after a watching a video tape (am I the only ancient still using video tapes? hahaha), if you didn't switch off the VCR and tune to a program page, the image will turn out fuzzy. I had not realise the problem lies with the VCR and had a "fun" time fiddling the antenna, coz I happened to adjust the antenna. The image cotinued to be fuzzy until I fed up and waited for my Dad to fix. He very meticulous and moved the whole TV console out, and meddled with he wires behind. Still unable to solve the fuzziness, he declared "TV spoilt". Then suddeny he asked me do we need to switch off thr VCR, and I realised that was the cause of the fuzziness. Bursted out laughing like siao char bo.
Then, while watching TV, I was massaging my right foot when I sensed pain, taking a look and I saw a big blue-black on my foot, and I panickly asked, "Eh! When did I hurt myself?" My mum gave me a dead look and said, "You forgot this morning you bumped into the table ar?!?" Hee hee, morning blue, cannot remember what happened. Ha ha ha ha!

Aras finally won!!!

Oh man, Aras finally broke the winning monopolization from Terry and won both the Reward and Immunity challenge. I'm so elated, my blood was rushing thruogh my body and I felt the hotness on my cheeks. That Terry the Terror is getting so haughty and arrogant, so buay tahan.
Next week is finale le, so fast.... Gotta wait for 3 months before the new series will come. :(

I'm a garang gu女

Wah biang, today I cleared my 百宝盒s (the s means I have a lot of boxes, haha), I actually collected so many junks that I used to treat them like gems. Examples:
  1. A MacDonald coupon leaflet with picture of 101 Dalmatians toys collection
  2. A MacDonald leaflet with picture of complete copllection of the Sesame Street toys (Me a sucker for cute stuffs)
  3. Fanciful letters and envelopes (I used to have pen pals nd therefore I kept a piece of each set I bought, I still have 1 letter pad untouch for years)
  4. Idol cards (the kind that was 20 cents per piece in a vending machine)
  5. Cute perfumed tissue wrappers
  6. A set of M1 promotion game cards with handphone strap
  7. A very old cardboard frame which the plastic slide turned brownish (it was a birthday gift from my good friend in primary school, now we hardly kept in contact)
  8. Etc etc (cannot remember le)

It was really a lot, and I think some stuffs I still keep, hee hee, can't bear to leave them leh.

I had always thought Blogger turned off the timestamp, everytime I need to update an old post, I would start a new post and then copied the entry over. Today I realised where was the magic setting:

Me damn pak jiao wor!

Now then it's friday...

How absent-minded I am, I was still joyous over yesterday that today was the last day of the week for long weekend, and today I had already fast forward to Friday, and I was waiting faithfully in front of the TV for my Survivor 12, wah ha ha ha.
I was packing my wardrobe since I took some T-shirts back and I found out I had shitload of new clothes (blouses, skirts, tank tops etc) which I have not wore yet. Very typical woman's habit, BUY AND NEVER WEAR! Wah ha ha ha, have to force myself to wear, then I can psycho myself to diet also, coz those were bought when I was a little slimmer, er hem, remember how exams caused me to gain 3kgs?. Now I wear them, machiam dumplings like that, lol.
Must knock off the extra pounds I put during exams, KCQ very on, wanna jog everyday leh, 想不瘦都难!Wheeeeeeeeeet!

Popiah DIP

Looks like the Benito hor... No pok pok kea only. :)
Wow, had a 2 days feast of popiah, customized some more, that was we could decide how much filling, whether we wanted the tau gei, more eggs or less chili, was up to us. Yum yum...
Today was the start of my project, so far, I think those new teammates are not bad, they actually showed interest and helped to brainstorm for ideas on how to improve the project. Meanwhile the girls fret that we wouln't be able to finish, these guys assured me that we would finish on time. Hopefully we can submit something decent lah, and I'm trying to learn things as I go, since as a leader, I can't possibly "delegate" jobs and then kiaw ka. We were seperated into Software and Hardware, to be more efficient in getting the job done, but then conflicts were inevitable, since everyone had their idea on the final project. Some of them weren't really very enthusiastic, could be due to lack of "experience" like me lah, who knew nuts about all these mechanical and electronic stuffs and 敢敢 submit proposal with zero idea on how it actually worked, but at least they were not bochup. Luckily got Hwee and the rest to guide me, and also to encourage me, if not, I will be really paiseh to be their leader, coz I dunno anything. They kept telling me that "I am important, need to oversee the whole project, dunno nvm, can learn" etc... SO TOUCHED. The new guys also same same, one of them told me they also knew nothing much, but would do and follow. Heng at least today we all still get along quite well, if not how to endure 5 weeks?!? And there was this "lengendary circuit board" which we kept harping on.
So far so good, and I'm just gonna cross my fingers and prayed for the best.
SOTD: I cast my virgin vote last Saturday, and it was very embarassing. Coz my beloved mother teased me, "Need to think so long meh?" for standing at the booth longer than her (she queued behind me). 人家想 how to draw perfect cross mah! Actually wasn't sure where to draw the cross, inside the box or inside the grey box. Can't blame me since I was totally hands off TV almost the whole month and they only "buy" the airtime for 7pm. So I dunno how to vote lor, mine could possibly be one of those invalid votes. Ha ha.

Yesh! Last paper over, while everyone is busy enjoying their holidays, we the Enginerling Stutent got to do project, kaoz.... nair mind... 5 weeks is going to pass very soon, like exams like that mah....
My bag is packed, my table is cleared, all I need to do is to head home now. Damn... I'm bringing so many stuffs back.

Blogging addict Reminders

Shit, my blogging addict kicks in again, here I am posting another entry, it's not even an hour from the previous entry yet!
Reminders:
  1. Renew my passport
  2. Clean & Clear my room (Home Sweet Home) (gonna bring a lot of rubbish from hostel, Mama going to tau tia again)
  3. Clear wardrobe (Time to stuff those velibeli old T-shirts into bins)

Ok ok, I should get my ass back to study liao, paper at 2pm.

No photos eh!

I was browsing thru my folders and I realised I did not took any photos for the past 4 months, not even on my birthday since it was CNY. Then I realised whatever gathering I had, I brought the camera, but I didn't use it! Not counting my camera photos tho, as those are cam whoring, what I mean is taking photos with friends to keep as still memories. I was chuckling to myself as I browsed thru the photos. The crazy time I had with Princess Diyumi in Orchard Road; a lot of 21st birthday memories; buddies' surprise parties; fun with JYPS staffs and quality time with my family (especially that steal-the-attention Jamie).
I think I have an outing this Sunday, yeeeeessssshhhhh! Cam whoring again! LOL. Pple, dress nice nice ar! Now my powerdewonderful camera is 512MB, get ready to posing 101 styles for me!
P/S: 90% done for astro, that's after skipping those non-examinable.

Yawn...

Yawn... I'm only 40% done with my astronomy. And I had already took a nap just now, damn... so many things to study, looks like I'll just have to be less kiasu and stick to my tips and forget (pun not intended, not literally forget, but ignore) the rest.

Astronomy Crash Course #1

Shan't spare you all with the simple stuffs, haha, learn everything from scratch, :)
  1. Star: a large glowing ball of gas that generates heat and light thru nuclear fusion
  2. Planet: a relatively large object orbiting a star, shines by refelcted light, can be rocky, icy or gaseous
  3. Moon: residential address of Chang-e, orbits around a planet. (Doesn't Chang-e gets dizzy?)
  4. Asteroid: a relatively small and rocky object that was gonna crash the Earth in Armageddon, and dunno for fuck why they want Bruce Wills to drill a hole in it.
  5. Comet: a relatively small and icy object orbiting a star, the Superstar Hailey's comet visit us every 72 years
  6. Solar system: the sickenings thing we have to memorise in P3 science
  7. Nebular: a "hospital" where birth and death of stars occurs, it's no wonder they will die there since it's cloudy, dusty and with gaseous.
  8. Galaxy: an island of stars held together by gravity and orbiting a common center
  9. Universe: sum of total matter and energy
  10. Atom: microscopic "building blocks" of all chemical elements and Universe (so does our cells made of atoms too?)
  11. Creation of Universe: Big Bang, which made the simplest atoms, then the stars itchy fingers and made more complex atoms, then when they die, they are expelled into the sky and reincarnate as stars again or planets
  12. Cosmic Calendar: If the entire age of universe is 1 calendar year, then 1 month is equivalent to 1 billion real years
  13. Constellation: countries in the sky
  14. Celestial Sky: the "sky" that covers the earth
  15. Ecliptic: path that Sun travels every year, the constellations it pass thru are the Zodiac Signs we are familiar with, thus known as Sun Signs too
  16. Equinox: intersection points of ecliptic and celestial equator
  17. Solstic: point farthest away from from celestial equator
  18. Zenith: Aiyah, just means the the point directly above you lor
  19. Meridian: the irritating point we have to know for Geography
  20. Zodiac: See point 15

That's all, stay tune for #2 at 10pm, not 9pm as scheduled coz I need to eat dinner lah :D

All you need to know about astronomy in 1 day

Alright people, after MUCH delibrate procrastination, I decided to study for my elective module, which is Astronomy, after this entry, but before I bored myself to death with plain reading, why not you all joined me with it, *evil laugh, and I get to blog and study at the same time, one birdie kill 2 stones leh! I decided to post an entry on what I have learnt every 3 hours starting at 3pm, so catch the next entry at around 6pm, 9pm etc. Trust me, Astronomy is not boring after all! At the end of 24 hours, I'm sure you all will pretty much know about the sky as much as I do, :)
A question from someone, "What's so interesting about all these rubbish from outer space?"
Well, coz we all came from there! :D Serious!

Boring stuffs

A black cat scared the shit out of me just now, especially I had just finished my shower in the creepy communal bathroom at midnight. Damn, my level is just so quiet, everyone had already packed their bags home and here I am still waiting for my last paper. Eudure, endure, Friday is coming very soon.
Anyway, my last entry I "forsee" myself to sleep until 4pm, but no, I woke up pretty early, at 12pm, and I nuaed until 2 pm. Then I made myself useful by taking the laundry and sweep the floor, then I proceed to sit in front of the laptop for 4 hours straight reading Kenny Sia's blog archive, damn, I was supposed to study for my elective. I presumed the tips are enough for me to score an A, if not B since the Prof said there will only be 2 grades. Hee hee.
After the last core paper yesterday, I was mentally prepare to repeat it next semester. Really, I was so confident that I can do the paper, but I came out disappointed, I was so sure I can at least passed with a decent grade, now, haiz.. "Uncle, takeaway please!" Not one but 2, my brain went on holidays for both first and last paper, grrr....
I think I'm only good at wasting money.
Today is so inefficient, except doing the laundry. I woke up so late that I only ate dinner, and 2 packs of Oreo cookies the whole day till now. No wonder I find my bra a bit loose now, but not my pants, hmpf!
Already in holiday mode, most prob will study my elective module tomorrow night liao. Hiaz... exams exams, why you so scary de?
Note: The Witch stick is damn good, the acne on my neck swells down after one application, try it! I already finished the tube, which I just bought it like less than a month ago. I used it daily to reduce the pimples, bumps on my face due to exam stress. Very good!

Panda soon to be

I think I will be well received if I go China, coz I'm as cute as their pandas, with dark rings under my eyes, puffy cheeks, huge waist and a blank expression. I had disrupted my normal sleeping hours, with only about 5 hours of sleep and overnight mugging, gosh, think tonight will be sweet dreams plus Ben and Jerry ice cream liao. Ha ha. Night people.

Kumanoko Puffy BabyBear

I never fail to worship this site, almost everyday. The author loads a lot of kawaii pictures, mostly animals, but she does put other stuffs like people, clothes etc.
So I happened to link to this photo archive, and I was amazed at how patient the owner was at taking care of his hamster, Kumanoko Puffy BabyBear. The hammie has spoilt teeth, so the owner crushed his food for it every meal, like caring for a baby.
I felt so ashamed, both Baruchito (& family) and Kumanoko had such good owners, I felt so letdown to my previous 3 hamsters. When they are alive, I thought feeding them would be enough. When they died, I just threw them down the rubbish chute, :'/ (My cousin cremated her hamster and give offerings to it somemore!)
Even though they are small in size, thus very easily neglectable by me, I really ought to learn to love small animals more, and not just treating them with food and water that's it.
What name should I give to my next hamster? :D

Simplism

Got a feedback right after my last post. This is supposed to be a post note, but it turn out so long and I decided to make it an entry.
Someone commented my entry makes me sound very ignorant and I don't deny. I am indeed ignorant on these stuffs, and I bet half the Singapore population is too. It's no secret that the young adults is SG is oblivious to the politics. This is just a blog, which I wrote plainly for enjoyment, to record down my thoughts also, then maybe few decades later when I read back, I will thought to myself, "Wah Kao, how naive I am!". Making my vote invalid is a joke, the PAP is King and OP is advisor system is also just a fantasy. If everything is so simple, there won't be a difference between simple and difficult also. Anyway, divulging your choice of vote is an offence, :P
She joked to me to take down this entry before people laugh till death. Laugh till death because of my ignorance? (At first I tot she meant my entry was funny, :( obviously she tot otherwise) She just makes me ponder a very old issue: Should I write stuffs to let people think this is ''me"? Or should I write entries based on "me"? Contradicting? I thought so too. If my last entry really let people think I am ignorant, so be it. I don't and won't write stuffs to let people think I'm "deep". Shallow, so be it.
Like I mentioned before, Singapore is a very small country, so the election is nothing much to see, the election and voting is a game everywhere else play that's all. It's already such a small piece of cake, yet so many people fighting to grab the last small crumb. I may not have studied socialism, communism, capitaism, but that does not mean I do not understand, I chose not to associate them. These are complex thoughts created by people who were ambitous. If I am one, I will create stupism and simplism, so people who study them are simple and stupid followers, :D
The real world is already very complicated, I don't want my world to be as complicated as the real. Maybe that is also why I find it hard to fit sometimes. Hey, being simple also means I takes things easily, so cannot fit in straight, nair mind, I turn 45 degrees and fit! LOL.
My way of thoughts are simple, I do not like to think things way beyond, coz I think like this will make my life difficult. One good example of how simple I think. A friend and I were stucked on this question yesterday, upon discussion, I told her I used the formula found, that is A=BC. She told me she was struggling until she recalled this equation, dA/dx = dB/dy x C. It mean the same thing actually. Am I brighter coz I seek an easier way out or she's smarter coz she can remembered such a tough equation? There's no way to judge right? It's a question of flexibility. Another good example, Roomie aim for Distinctions, I aim for Cs and Ds, who will be happier in the end? Being ambitious is good, too ambituous is no good, but how ambitious is ambitious? Contradiciting again? So how people judge me, I don't care, I know who I am and what I want is enough. No point trying to fit into another standard, coz we all have different length of rulers.
Learn to embrace simplism.
In summary: I promote simplism. Election is a complicated game which I can't judge who is better. I am a simple-minded girl, full stop.
P/s: Too young and can't vote for your district? Nair mind, you can vote here :) But I think you rather don't vote. Hee hee

Exercise my rights

Alright, people, after all the 风风雨雨, storm here thunder there, the election is coming on 6th May 2006. Surprisingly, the calm and peaceful Yishun is actually up for grabs. To be truthful, I don't know who are the contenders other than PAP. PZ's district is also contending, at least she she who the contenders are. So long story short, I will be voting on 6 May 2006. When I knew this, a chill run down my spine, coz this is my first general election vote leh, 我的一票是神圣的!! The last voting exercise I remembered was my parents choosing the President, the year Ong Teng Cheong got elected. How? I hate it, my exam finished on 5 May and then 6 May you want me to make such important decision again. I think I shall make my vote invalid, ha ha. I remembered voting for my hall's committee and my vote was invalid cox I put tick instead of cross, shall do likewise. Ha ha.
Actually ar, why must we have elections? Even the national song also tell us "One people One Nation One Singapore" liao. Singapore is such a small country, no need so many parties, one PAP and one Opposition is enough. People complained feedbacked the PAP are all 上等人, never live in flats before, but you can't deny they have good brains lah. You see, the new PAP members ar, 不是马世德(Masters), 就是杜特乐 (Doctorate), if not COE CEO of some AAA company. So good until I go WAH!!!! However, having a good brain is not good enough, you must understand what heartlanders really need. It's just like a designing a gizmo, only after people use it, then people will think good or bad, so designer must understand what people really wants, then design. You want to know what we need, stay in Yishun lah. Visit us every 5 years no use one. I remember the ex MP for my district, try to 入乡随俗 and address every man Uncle and every woman Auntie, including my then not yet 20 year old sister. Excuse me ar, not everyone can be address as Uncle or Auntie one hor, it's an art which only heartlanders know to use it correctly (Digress). So the Opposition is mostly made up of all the average people you that lives in heartlands.
But then again, PAP already run Singapore very well, everywhere is so organized. So if PAP is King, Opposition can be the Advisor lor. Right?
你, 须投票吗?

It's official, my name is changed to Chew Sin Dai Ee

Sounds weird? Coz it stands for 粗心大意, sometimes I really overestimated my level of intelligience and memory. Ha ha ha...
Today's paper is understandable and manageble, at least can pass lah. However, as usual, I overlooked some small details and this led to huge erroneously applied understanding, and assuming it was correct somemore. Anyway, its over and I shall work hard for the last 2 papers.
I must act deaf after every paper, so that I will not know the correct answer and still thinks my answer is right! Ha ha ha....
Talking about deaf, I think i am going to be soon, the acne just finished ploughing field in my right ear and they it had moved over to my left ear constructing buildings. 痛死我了!I think till death do us part this misery!
Haiz, 2 more 2 more! Just 2 more!

霸王别姬: SG version

I found this blog through Kenny Sia's. It's a story about 2 young boys, age 17. Obviously, coming out of the closet must have made their life haywire, but these 2 boys are taking in their strides. I respect them from head to toe. Their blogs basically revolves their daily activities and there are some repetition, coz each boy will write a seperate entry and they were so eager to share with people their lifes. A lot of anti gay voices, which I personally feel that, these pea brainers ought to wake up. These 2 boys are just in love, just like a normal couple will do, anything wrong with that? Learn to accept, and not despise, who are we to despise and look down on them just because they are gay? So you look down on Elton John also lah, whose gay btw. Anyway, their blog are not for those who cannot tahan those sweet sweet love, coz they are indeed spreading their love for each other in such a sweet way that some people might find it gross. I personally thought both of them, especially Kero's writing is very entertaining. I was giggling at some funny parts. From their blog, you will understand that they are just having a pure love relationship, just that both are boys that's all.
P/S: I just been told the sex goddess cum UN ambasaddor is bisexual, so are those anti gay and anti lesbians gonna boycott her movies?

Evil Exams

They made me fat: I've gained 3kgs!
They made me old: Eye bags, fine lines, rough skin.
They made me cranky: I rather play games than study
They made me have mood-swings: Study and weeping
They made me have nervous breakdown: Trembling in the exam hall
I need shopping therapy, beauty therapy, slimming therapy and chocolate therapy, who want to sponsor?

One DONKEY is here...

Today is possibly the day my school fee was most worth, coz I had a private 1-1 session with my tutor. No... I did not went to find him in his office, it was because no one came for the tutorial except one sucker, eh... that would be yours sincerely. Seriously, I thought the tutor had cancelled the class without my knowing, since I skipped last week. While I was waiting alone in the icy cold tutorial room, people keep popping in, hoping to get the whole room by themselves so that they could revise, but would left when they saw me, except for one bugger, but he left when my tutor came. Anyway, all the lifts in our block broke down, and he was panting like an old dog when he came into the room.
Anyway, it was great to have a 1-1 session, seems that Harvard and Cambridge use this system also. The best about this 1-1 was I can ask anything without feeling stupid, unlike when you are in a class full of other students like you, you can't help but feeling stupid if you were to ask questions. Hor?
I was very very happy, because of the 1-1 and I actually knew how to solve some of my tutorial questions, but my heart dropped when I went to collect my lab report, I got a D! Aren't those post grad students supposed to be more lenient than professors? This chio postgrad must have got very high marking my report, coz I see BIG RED CROSS on almost every paragraph. Last semester, the postgrad was more lenient, he gave me a B despite I did not do my conclusion. Sianz... One expectation dropped.
Going back home tmr, and this could be possibly my last entry before exam le. Laptop will be resting till... maybe 2nd last paper.... that is on 2 May.

I'm a meanie....

Roomie was rehearsing her "speech" for her presentation on Friday. As usual, other than being a nitty-gritty about the language and grammar, I spot her group's project loophole:
  1. Where did they find time to cycle (bicycle tires experiment) 3500km? As stated, they maintain a speed of 25km/h, so I calculated and found out that it would take 140+ hrs, and was around 5.8 days (divided by 24hr). She told me that the only 2 guys took one week to do the experiment.
  2. They "hala" that 20 candidates did the experiment, weighing 50kg - 70kg. Since they only wanted to compare between 2 brands of tires, why the need for 20 people? They should keep a constant for the weight range, and 2 people would be enough to test the 2 tires

Why didn't I display such attention to my own schoolwork?

I never borrow $$$ from Ma Ma...

Was msning with Jia just now, and we were talking about the Progress package, so somehow we talked about earning money, and I was telling her I am poor etc... Then she said:

JacQ<*sigh* Y I dun have Progress Package???> says:
the other day min min ask me to tell u
JacQ<*sigh* Y I dun have Progress Package???> says:
"can u dun anyhow spent $$$.... dun kep borrow $$$ from mum can?"
JacQ<*sigh* Y I dun have Progress Package???> says:
Ha ha ha ha

I think Jamie has a very very very wrong impression of me... Mum should stop asking her to pass me my allowance.

Monday test, enough said. :(

Today is April's Fool, only played a joke on 1 friend oni... Still waiting for the right moment to tell her the magic sentence.

Ding! Ding! Ring! Ring!

Today's astro presentation, I only got one conclusion, that is damn funny! Why? Coz all of us machiam in XXX Idol for audition, if you are lousy, then Judge will "Ding" the bell and you have to stop, except that Prof "Ding" us for over time. Each group only had 10 minutes, so divide by no. of people in your group, example, my group 5, so each speaker had 2 minutes to speak, and any unused will be "carry forward" for the next speaker. Everytime the Prof "Ding", the people inthe Lt will just laugh coz the atmosphere was really funny and those speakers also paiseh. There was this guy, he didn'ty care and try to finish, and Prof was "Ding Ding" the bell like an angry Judge who was desperately to "Ding" the lousy contestant away. I left the lecture right after my group's presentation. I was the last speaker and I thought my conclusion was hilarious. We were doing a topic of comparing 2 telescopes, and in a haste (coz can go back very excited), I said, "No matter old or new telescope, both are 2 good telescopes taht help us to know more about the universe." I was suppose to say the new complement the old, dunno why ended like black and white cats.
And YES! I got my Nokia 7360 le, but I got the coffee brown instead of the warm amber coz they dun have stocks le. The blue and brown match looks nice also... :) Just that the warm amber is more feminine and has the flower engraving, the coffee brown had leaves pattern and seems like is to attract guys to buy, like couple match. I love my phone, my first camera phone leh.

天才与白痴仅一线之差

This entry was supposed to be written last year when I was blog crazy, but I think I got busy with exams preparation and forgot about it. Today, it resurfaced when I was refering to past year tutorials for solutions when I saw a footnote I wrote: "天才 doesn't know what is equivalent sign, very duhz!" It was a note to remind me what to blog, coz I was rather bewildered that this guy whom I thought quite smart didn't know what was the equivalent sign and asked the Prof, it was and = sign with ~ on top. Coincidentally, this 天才 was my teammate in one of my projects. Today, he asked a question which almost threw everyone onto the floor. Miss L told us to submit an assignment via email, and this 天才 asked some questions on how to do, like format, procedures etc. So Miss L casually mentioned this assignment was actually more like a copy-n-paste thing from the given info, but it takes time to "write" the organisation. Immediately, he asked, "Oh! You mean we have to submit hard copy?"
She grasped my arm and started foaming.
No lah, but she did grasp my arm (coz I suay suay sat between them) and exclaimed, "Siqi, please wake him up! He is getting impossible! Aiyoh!"
Solid proof that smart people also have their dumb times. Is he too smart to understand common sense?

I'm in LOVE...

Yes, I'm in love, at a wrong time, but I just can't help it, it was love at 1st sight. Now, I think of "him" day and night when I'm supposed to mug for exams, but my mind is just all about "him". "He" used to be just a dream, a fantasy, but soon, it's going to be a reality, and then I could and touch, feel and sense "him".
Well, to all those curious minds, let me introduce "him":

The handsome Nokia 7360!!! I'm planning to get it this Friday. All thanks to the $65 voucher, else it's totally out of my budget. I almost screamed and hyperventilated when I checked out the price, $168 with 2 years contract, minus $65, minus $10 trade-in, I can buy!!!!! OH! The thought of having this excited me so much, wah! Can't wait for Friday to come sooner!

Laughing laughing laughing

Ha ha ha ha, today was a ha-ha day, really laugh a lot.
This morning, KCQ was telling us that her tutor mentioned about a news heading this morning about a student complaining lecturers did not give tutorial solutions or whatever shit lah, and we were debating whether it was that asshole protester. So our conversation linked to lecturers who could not speak or taught well. And I thought KCQ was spouting vulgarity when she said, "And that XX lecturer only know how to say "懒觉话",I was immediately stunned. I went to interrogating and asked her, "Do you have to use that word?" "What word?" She asked. "You said "懒觉". "Choy, I didn't use that word, I was saying he only know how to say "冷笑话 "
Paiseh, ears need some cleaning.
That asshole protester famous liao loh! Have not read the news yet, not sure what happen to him.

饱到要吐,恶到想死

My blog title read "Eat until too full, disgusted till death". Why? Coz I got a freaking baby cockroach in my udon during dinner, I tot it was seaweed until I saw legs and feelers. Argh!!! Went to show the cashier ladies the culprit, and they got me a new bowl. Thus, now I am so full coz I ate 1.5 bowls of udon, plus the teriyaki chicken. Think it will last me till 2am... (I had early dinner, 5pm) -_-" Goosebumps still run down my spine when I tot of the roach, *Vomit*
Got myself some chocolates to calm my nerves. :P
Annoucement, I will stop blogging from till exam turbulence is over on 5th May, meanwhile from now till maybe 10 April, will blog when blue moon appears. Good luck to everyone having exams and work hard, don't count on luck! LOL.
SOTD:
Last Sunday, I was snuggling against Jamie on my mum's bed. Being an inquisitive kid, she asked why were my dark rings under my eyes so dark. Obviously was without enough sleep since exams were coming. "You look like polar bear leh!"... Polar Bear? Yeh, I know you know what was my reaction hor.
Why I cannot upload pictures in Blogger?? Time to get a flickr?

Disgusting Truth

Today's astronomy lesson is non-compulsory (anyway lectures in uni are not mandatory also), but I attended to "check it out" any interesting topics for the presenation. While chit chatting with one of my team mates for this module, she told me that she had initially thought the Indian in our group was female, until she went to see his pic in a school's site. Pic, what pic? Can check meh? I thought. Upon asking, turned out that everyone's photo is accessible from the school's site. Who the hell thought of this? Seems like we can check it in the modules registered. Damn... To think I always hide my matric card coz I think it's very ugly (Poly's photo was worse), so...it can be seen by everyone. Luckily, I had took the precaution to take a "nice" photo for matriculation, but it's pretty useless coz the school's scanner machine screwed up one, pretty becomes ugly, handsome also become disgusting lah. So you wanna check out the cute guy in this particular module group? Go there and you can see his face being distorted. I couldn't upload pictures in Blogger, so cannot show you all how distorted my face become, mu ha ha ha.
Anyway, it was pretty fun to check my friends' photo, some of them looked like the got "The Dog" photographer, big head, small neck de... LOL.
Oh yah, I shot an "inspired mail" to that silly guy, see below:
hey, i got ur "protest" mail in NTU, I am so bloody inspired by you, that you take your own initiative to speak up, to challenge the school. You are my idol. I'm not that daring enough, thus I contact you thru this annoymous mail.

CAN YOU PLEASE STOP SPAMMING! Not happy go to other Uni! You want speak good english profs, go to UK, US or other "good english speaking" countries, the chance that you see another cheena prof speaking lousy english, I think it's pretty high.

You are already violating the *toot* rule by spamming the whole of *toot*, you ought to look for a proper channel to release your unhappiness. Spamming everyone is not a wise choice, coz you have made urself the joke of the school. A scholar who is initiating protest, ha ha. I think either you study too much, therefore brain has gone mad or you are so smart that you don't have to study, thus the free time to do all these things.

You are creating so much inconvenience to everyone with your mails, with so much formatting, it took a very long time to download. Seriously, rank *toot*very lousy meh? I suppose you had came from neighbouring country, since you said you are a scholar and I don't think local scholars are so free to do these. if you are finding fault with *toot*, go back to where you are!

No one bothers about this at this crucial time, study for ur exams, or go and do volunteer work. I think the ah peks and ah mas would love to have someone to entertain them. Clown!
He only replied "my sincere apologies". Asshole!

We are such a bunch meanies :P

Today's presentation went fairly well, being the 1st group to present, nobody else was in the right mood to throw questions at us, since most of them were busy preparing their speech. Therefore, the groups behind us were quite poor things, especially the last few groups, were in constant bombardment by me and another teammate. We did not mean to be mean, but the questions just popped inside my head, so I asked lor, anyway, if they can answer, good mah. Hor hor... can showed spontaneity.
Anyway, my group (minus leader) went makan and chit chat, and we chatted about this guy from another engineering course, who spam the whole undergraduatess email, wanna "stage" protest, with regards to fees' hike, lecturers who can't speak proper english and some other matters. Mind you, he is a scholar and many of us think he must have studied too much or he is so damnsmart that he did not have to do revision, thus the free time to do such thing. THIS COULD BE VERY SERIOUS!!!!!
As if one email wasn't enough, he had to send 3 mails! Bloody hell, his email was formatted so much that it takes a long time to load, and the explorer was hanged for a moment. And I was in an urgent hurry to write an email...
Anyway, I doubt anyone will be interested to join his protest, coz exams coming, where got time? To stage protest, also must apply license from police, where got such time for this? Deal with exams first bah, duhz...

Of dose of caffein and doze of sleep

Time to blog, hand itchy, although I'm supposed to do presentation slides, hee hee hee
Had a lot of serious thoughts the past few days, wanna blog about it but I forgot le, so nair mind, I blog it when I remember. My memory selectively choose to remember useless things as usual, like why ku ku is call ku ku.
These few days damn busy with tech comm report, finally its over! Submitted last friday at 5.30pm, thought can finallly concnetrate on study, shit, I still have 2 more reports, lab and astronomy. Die die die... hope today can clear, one more quiz before exams, have to study hard for that loh....
Dr. Chan came to my school to give an astro talk on "Dark Matter" last tuesday, it was so nice to see him after so long. He looks more tired than he was during poly. But the few of us had a good chat with him, and it nice to hear him chat about "going against the norm". June Astro retreat again, anyone going? My school's astro club is organizing one too, not too sure if I can make it. Will try and ask for more details... Oh, passport expiring soon, I better renew it after exams.
Okie, I remembered what I wanna blog le.
Since P2, dozing off is class is my forte. It was this one "accident" that I dozed off, and since on, I purposely get myself to doze off, coz I tot "Wah! I dozed off teacher also dunno, then I continue sleep lor". Even after I was kanna smacked on the head for dozing off, it was too late for me to kick this habit, I will still doze off. When I go to secondary school, it got worse, I was already addicted to coffee. Even with a daily dose, I will still sleep, without coffee, I'm a zombie. Serious! I can't think without coffee! Together with heavily involvement in military bandand and the hectic study sechdule (I was a lousy student, I had remedial class almost everyday), I almost breakdown, or so I thought at that time.
Then I went to poly, determined to work hard and not to doze off again, but it was kinda hard, I would only try to keep awake during those strict lecturers' lesson, but it was a mild doze, not heavy doze. Then my friends around me knew this trait of mine, and I would always say I went fishing with Grandpa Zhou. I kicked my caffein addict during my last half year in poly, but actually I slept more coz I was on a supplement diet at that time, I was to drink a cup of milkshake every morning, thus no coffee. So when I go to school to do project, I sleep. I would sleep at almost every 2 hours or so, its a miracle I managed to finish my project. The miracle was I had a chin-chai supervisor and project mate. The project mate actually let me copy and paste, but of course, my integrity was not so low I copied and submitted, I copied with understanding.
After graduation, I went to work, somewhere near my school now, so it's damn far and working time damn early . I had breakfast time at 9am, and usually, I had either coffee, tea or milo. By this time, I was not addicted to caffein totally, that is I can think without caffein. So, more or less, it was good but I was addicted to afternoon nap. Luckily for me, I worked alone, and I could easily find a place to sleep, and the staffs there thought I'm busy. :P It was pretty sian-lang, but I did have my busy time. There was one period I worked so hard that my weight dropped to 72kg, the lightest I ever been since 13 years old (this age coz I offically stopped growing upwards)
Anyway, then I came to Uni full of hopes and dreams, and to my horror, it was so hard to realise my dreams. I have to work ten time harder than I was in poly, so it was much a nightmare for me. Last year, my 1st semester, I still went fishing occassionally with Grandpa Zhou, thus I did not grasp the content in lectures and I didn't do self revision. However, this semester,I feel like a whole new person, not only do I stopped fishing, I even managed to stay awake throughout the whole 3 hours of lecture. Of coz, by noon time, I CMI and would doze off again. So now, I will get some short nap, around 15 minutes before a lesson. It helps wondefully, especially during tutorial class, I will not miss any answers to the tutorial. There are times when I am super tired also lah, but so far, this semester, I felt more energectic. Now Roomie and I came up with secret terms for sleeping in class: Big fish (heavy doze ) or small fish (light doze).
Thus, when Dr. Chan came to give a talk, not only did I managed to stay awake, I even bloodyhell understand what he was teaching. This is no doubt something I am most proud of, coz being an avid fan of astro, this is the first time I understand something that I would think its CHEEM during poly. I actually understand the formula leh! (Plus the fact I am in engineering course, and the equations are the same as what I learnt for this semester)
I only learnt how to manage my sleep pattern to help me study effectively at the age of 22, which is pretty late. Sometimes, I wonder, if I had know how to manage my sleep, would I have done better? Would I have a better understanding of everything? I was flipping my cousin's physic textbook the other day and I was thinking how trivial it was, just like how Profs think Uni stuffs are trivial, it's the same logic. I would not have this thought if I'm in poly. During poly where working part-time was a norm, people always asked why don't I be a tuition teacher, it pays well, especially secondary school. I told them because I don't like to teach kids, actually, I was not confident enough to teach them well, let alone primary school. However, giving tution has been crossing my mind lately, coz I think I can teach already.
No matter what addiction to kick, coffee and sleep, the addiction that I won't kick is chocolate! It's a food from heaven.
SOTD1: I was having breakfast with my family earlier, and Jamie asked what I want to drink. I answered, "Kopi lor". She marvellously retorted, "Why you always drink Kopi one, no wonder you are so short!" -_-" (Jia had told me a few months ago that caffein will suck the calcium, thus hindering bone growth in children, and therefore concluded why I am shorter than her, since I started daily caffein addiction when I was 9 years old.)
SOTD2: MSN conversation with Diyumi just now
diyumi: siqi

Bitchiness

On Sunday, I was telling Jia how sacarstic and bitchy she could become when fine tune wrongly, and it seemed like I was more or less becoming like her. What she answered me was classic, "No lor, Lim Peh (my dad) is the ultimate Suaning King, we got this gene from him."
Never did I know the usually loud but hardly talk Daddy actually was so sacarstic. He had reprimanded her for her previous 2nd handphones. Next time must prepare myself before I talk to him, LOL.
Still rushing tech comm report, due this Friday. A guy getting a free ride in our team is doomed, coz I had reported him to my Prof, and it seems like we will have this peer evaluation form. He is chiam liao, I'm gonna make him repeat this module again. Sucker!

The Pianist

I am watching "The Pianist" now, I had thought it was going to be a boring show. It is slow, but it is not boring. This histroical film about the destruction of Jews is really heartbreaking, from 500, 000 Jews, they massacred to only 60, 000 only. Horrible Hitler! And that Adrien Brody, no wonder he got the Oscar, he was damn good, his acting really captivated my attention. One little short joke: The end of the movie quoted "A Roman Polanski Movie", I thought it was a movie done between the Romans and Polishs, hee hee, actually it was the director's name. :P
I had my Physics Quiz today, after 2 weeks of preparing. It wasn't thorough enough, but somehow I was able to attempt the questions and I'm actually proud of myself. Coz I actually feel that I will pass for this quiz, bleahz... My 2 previous quiz was studied on the day itself, and I knew I couldn't do the paper. Anyway, this Physics really set my mood momentum to swing for exam siah!
Yeah, vicious cyclone is coming back, and this time it will blow longer than last time, coz I have one more paper. So yah, update is gonna be very very slowwwwwwwwww.
Bought a 512 xD card, woah hoo! Now I can take 394 pictures, 5.0 MB resolution, and 12 minutes video. So cool!

Different Cultures

I was distributing invitations cards in 1 of the hall blocks just now. Usually, the guys are half naked on the top, and wear shorts below, and we girls also used to it, although sometimes the guys also very shy when we girls happen to bump into their section, and they will quickly hide into their rooms. The ang mohs, had totally different culture. They wear a T-shirt and brief only, full stop. I bumped into one just now, luckily, I was on the phone, so I pretended I didn't notice he was "shortless", and my eyes roamed somewhere else. Actually, his big, milky, fleshy thighs keep flashing back...
Today is a "suay" day, first I saw a guy's butt crack, and then this... Wah liew... This is more suay than walking under women's underwear!

My hair is not rebonded, but neither does it looks like anymore, =(

Ever since my last haircut, quite a number of people always asked if I rebonded my hair, and I always 暗爽 about it, but replied in a cool manner, "No lah, no money to rebond." The biggest 爽 came today when I went to trim my thick-like-lion's mane hair, the stylist asked, "Did you rebond ur hair or it is natural?" I had to suppress my excitement and replied nonchantly, "It's natural." Wah!!! Damn happy coz even a experienced stylist thought my hair is rebonded. Of coz, I also did think whether whether my hair was too dry and brittle to let him think it was badly rebond, but considering my hair wasn't that badly damaged except for those unsightly split ends, I concluded my hair was very straight lah. Maybe some might think what's so big deal, well it's big deal, coz I didn't pay money for any rebonding service and my hair looks like it was, hee hee. But I have to confess it only looks like rebonded hair after a hair wash lah.... and maybe after a few hours, the scalp gets oily and the hair gets heavy, you know... Anyway, my last haircut was done at Sandstorm (Jurong Point), by a senior stylist named Leon, I think he's good lah, I did review it that time.
But ALAS! The effect is gone, coz this stylist didn't have the skill Leon had and I had told him just to trim 1 inch off to make it same length as the side, coz I find my hair too layerized liao. So basically, my $8 haircut (I don't want $20 trim) wasn't as worth as Jamie who had almost 3 inches of hair cut off, same price. And 4 hours later, my hair was already twisting here and there. But this is not the saddest part, my head had this small tuft of hair popping out from my parting, double SAD!!!!! I had not visited this saloon since September or October last year, and therefore I totally forgot that they always cut until a small tuft appeared out of no where. Sianz... it will take at least 6 months for this tuft of hair to become long and heavy then it won't pop out. Argh.... think this will be the last time I visit this saloon liao.
3 months = 1 inch of hair, now the length is the same as December. I shall endure until July then cut hair!

Ku Ku in the head = dickhead?

I just had this realization. Do you ever scold someone who is crazy in hokkien, that is "Su Ku"? Then we short formed it to "Ku Ku", example: He's ku ku up in the head, heck care him. Did you noticed how we always scold men as dickhead? Somehow I think these 2 terms are cousins...
Something irrelevant. While having Statistic and Probability class, Prof set up this scenario: What is the probabilty of the gender of the next person coming into the lecture, if is male, P(x) = 1, if is female, P(x) = 2. Then some smart alec asked why male is the number 1 and female number 2? Prof gave a marvellous answer:
"It's not easy being No. 1, but being No. 2, can always replace No. 1."
How true!
