It's the end of Jan!!!!

I always love end of Jan, because it is always endless birthday parties for me. =) I have 1 round after another with different groups of friends!

Had my first birthday treat by Jerlyn last Thurs when I met her, after what felt like 8yrs? Yeap, that's how long we had not met. She was so sweet, remembered that my birthday (ok, Facebook can check...) was on Sunday, so she treated me for dinner at Out of the Pan at Raffles City Shopping Centre. Must try their crepes!!! Awesome!!!

Fri was quiet and Sat , Jia and I went to do manicure and pedicure =). Then Jia bought 步步惊心, so we had drama marathon until 2am!!! Then I went to sleep coz I cmi le, Jia continued though. Throughout, I was busy replying to birthday greetings! Ha ha, I even 'haoliao' to Jia I need to reply birthday msgs on FB.

On Sun morning, first thing I did was screamed at Min, because she kept taking my pads. That's not why I'm so pissed, I was angry because she left the empty package in my cupboard! I was so fierce that even my Dad came into my room and asked what happened. After screaming, I fell back to sleep until 3pm. Jia and Min went to market with Mum, so I quickly catch the episodes I missed. When Jia came back, we continued until 9pm.

Dad's taxi happened to break down and sent for servicing, so it was the first time after a long time that he was here for my birthday. And for the first time, we didn't have to hurry cake cutting coz he had to go to work. We cut the birthday cake at around 9.15, after Min came out of shower.

I had 46 FB msgs, 6 sms (2 from the same person). see how trending goes? =)

Then on Monday, my collegaues planned a surprise cake for me! The cake was so sinfully nice!!! But also difficult to cut coz it was so creamy! anw, CHOCOLATE CREAM! High end cake!!! Yummy!!! see pic!!!

That's what left after cutting, and I wanted to eat it for dinner, but someone's action was faster and ate away the 2 roses, left a care slice in the box. =(

So in a fit of spite, I brought home the chocolate they gave me. :P Had wanted to share in the office.

After which I met Esther babe. I am blessed with sweet friends, she gave TFS facial masks, lip balm and REESE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS!!! All my favorite things in the world in a pretty little bag!!!

I am in love!!!

After dinner at Sarang, we went A&F again! This time, we both bought the red cardigans!!! So so so in love!!! It was winter sale, 30% off, so I saved $30!!! Heng I didn't rush into buying last time. =D

Looks better under the A&F yellow light (which was sg flag type of red) and in real, slightly dark pink red.

And of course, how can I miss taking polaroid with the cutie???

I can't believe it what Mr. Lawyer asked me to do... Change the freaking bullet points' font weight!!! OMG, can't you just highlight and then change? What's so difficult? U R A LAWYER!!! U SUPPOSE TO BE SMART!!! AND I"M NOT YOUR FREAKING SECRETARY!!! It's bad enough I had to take your calls... Fine, I'm taking everybody's message anyway.

Then, I had to help him click print, shun bian jiu suan le, but aren't u over utilizing me a bit?

And and and, I'm suppose to assist and troubleshoot your problems, not to preempt your problems. You try liao cannot, then I'll help you. And not I stand there and wait for you to see if it happens.Seriously, the option is there, then it should work lah!

I don't dislike this guy, I kinda pissed off at him when he did such silly things.

Procrastination kills the deal

So much for putting effort in my new job, my good image was killed because of my procrastination.

I should have known that the bosses are raking in millions, hence, Blackberry is their world. The lawyer in the officer had been receiving his BB mails intermittently. Most of the time happened when he was out of office. My instinct told me that it was something to do with the network, yet another instinct told me it might be because he was tapping on the licensed network (not enough license to go around), hence he could only receive emails when he's in the office. So, I thought I just wait for the license to come then voila, problem solved,

On Fri, he got so mad that I did not solve his BB problem asap, spoke to me in a louder than usual voice. He was very worked up, and seriously, I totally forgot how corporate users can be very mang zhang. And there I was, sobbing silently, getting the only help I could think of, the license vendor.

Seriously, being a lawyer, he was more logical than me. He ruled out all the possibilities for me, while talking to the vendor on the phone. It was there, I discovered a setting I never probed before. His BES was connected on WiFi!!! Which explained why he couldn't receive emails once he's out of office. I'm pretty sure this was the cause, and not license problem.

Really learnt a very serious lesson: Never procrastinate, and dig all means to solve! It's my job!

红羊咩咩， 你一路好走

First was my uncle, now an ex-colleague.

It came as a very big shock, so shocked that I was shivering for 5 mins. How could the guy who accompanied me on my first marathon training died so suddenly! Like all the people we read in the news, like my uncle!!!

He even treated us lunch when he passed his IPPT last year!!!

Why is every NSman or NSF who fainted died after that? Something must be very wrong with the way they resuscitate fainted people.

Wrong skill? Wrong pressure? Wrong medic happened to be there? Would he still die if a real doctor is there?

There are too many whys that we will not get the answers.

Hongyang, you will be missed dearly.

We may not see each other everyday, or talk to each other everyday, but you were a great friend, a nice colleague, and a good employee.

So.. Another good friend got hitched!

So, I was once again asked to be a sister. What to do, I do a really great job! And I really enjoyed basking in their blissful day, almost felt like I'm marrying off my own daughter/sister. Hee Hee.

So SH and I spent the whole night doing the yoga cards, well, we both returned to my home at around 1pm...  coz we went to do some last minute grocery shopping, then we had only 4.5 hours to bath, rest and prepare the cards. She went to sleep after the yoga cards, while I continued with the love contract. By the time I finished I had to bath and get ready to head out.

As I did not have any sleep, I practically ate non-stop throughout the day as it went by:

1) At bride's hse: 1 pc of marble butter cake + 2 pkts of drinks
2) At groom's house: 2 pcs of cream cakes + 2 pkts of drinks
3) At their new house: 8 slices of BBQ pringles + 1 mini magnum (I'm now known as magnum gal)
4) Cocktail reception: Holding onto a bowl of peanuts snacks
5) During the lunch course, I helped myself to a second serving, or third or fourth.

Seriously, if my mouth stopped, my brain would stop and I would sleep. Which it happened twice in the car rides, once at the reception table while I was manning the guest list...  -_-|||

When I reached home, I was immediately knocked out, I didn't even wash off my makeup!!! Which was so unlike me...

They only had 1 VG and 1 PG. Seriously, I dislike the VG coz he haolianed about Amei riding on his white bike during her concert, and I really didn't pay attention what.. sat so far some more...

The PG was easily amused, he laughed when I dug the bitter gourd; when I sang "Sy in the house!!!" as I showed distaste for the VG's idea of singing the classic wedding bells; when I said "我承认！！" to his comment "中间那个最cute的"; laughed some more when I carried the basin and acted "给我一点吃的吧..." He really thought I wanted to eat.... then laughed when I said I was just being playful. got so funny meh!!! 我会误会的叻！！！ 哈哈哈！！！ joking.

And due to lack of sleep hence the high sugar intake, I was super high and cracked a lot of jokes. YW even said I was very Man when I ate the marble out of my hand instead of using place and fork... We ate like that at home also what...

As for why I am magnum gal, it was because the groom caught me eating their mini magnum, without knowing that his bride gave me the permission. The PG, upon seeing I was eating again, took a shot of me. -_-||| so groom kept telling pple I ate a lot of magnum... will pose the magnum story soon!

AMeiZing World Tour 2012

OMG!!! AMei is such a powerhouse!!! I think I enjoyed her concert more than Stephanie's. Amei had rather simple outfits compared to Steph.

Anyway, there was this 40 minutes which she sang songs spontaneously, and she sang Justin Beiber's "Baby", so cute! Then she got the band to sing too, and the guys could sing, except they couldn't really reach the high notes as it was a girl's pitch.

Happy 2012!!!

2011 had been a fabulous year for me. I did things which I never did before, I felt things I never felt before. In short, it was a really shioked roller coaster ride, with happening stuff occuring along the way.

In 2011, I...

1. Passed my driving on the 6th attempt!!!
2. Started a YouTube channel on beauty
3. Joined a 5km fun run, followed by a 21km marathon, SCMS2011!!! Lost 8kg after training for SCMS2011.
4. Had doubts about my old job, wondering if I could manage. Then I got a new job, starting in Jan 2012.
5. Meet up with a lot of long time no see friends.
6. Did lasik and achieved 6/6 vision!
7. Traveled to 3 countries which I never been before, Taiwan (Taipei), Korea (Seoul) and Thailand (Hatyai).
8. Dated 1 wrong guy, attracted 1 nice shy guy, blind date with another super shy guy, eteract with yet another self-proclaimed shy guy. What's with these shy guys??? Lol. Another thing in common for them, they were never in a relationship before.
9. Hug more guys than I ever expected... Chippendales hotties, Abercrombie & Fitch cuties

In short, it wasn't a bad year for me, in fact I think it's the best one so far.

Let's review my targets and resolutions.

Resolutions:

1. Exercise more. Aim to lose 10kgs.
• I almost reached this target, just weighed myself. I'm 72kg right now. I'm pretty sure it will drop tmr morning after I digested all my dinner. :P
2. Show more enthusaism for my job
• I tried for my old job, it didn't work. I'm really looking forward to my new job!!!
3. Maintain my blogs regularly
• I think I did, I had 51 posts, which is roughly 1 post per week. That's a regular basis!!!
4. Be less annoying and be less easily annoyed by others
• I think I'm still annoying, in a cute way? 
5. Show more love and less anger
• I showed a lot of love by joking and making my friends happy. Not so much to my family.
6. Do not over splurge
• Failed badly, again.
7. No more procrastination
• Hmm.... did I procrastinate a lot? Can't remember
8. Sleep early, by 12mn latest
• It worked when I was jogging regularly. Now I'm back to night owl...
9. Work faster.
• Nah, it didn't happen. Still a slow coach.
10. Nap less. (#^_^#)
• Yeap, I napped less, or rather I napped for a short while. Can't do that for my new job now.

Targets:

1. Start the Business. Reina B.
• Hmm... it didn't work.. or rather neither any of us seemed interested in it now.
2. Get JLPT4 or Makeup Cert
• No money...
3. Join min. 2 runs for 5km, or 1 run for 10km
• Cleared this one with a 5km and 21km.
4. HP-UX II cert
• No time for it. -_-|||
5. Save for rainy days
• Did you see my new Burberry wristlet? LOL.

Now for new resolutions and targets.

Resolutions 2012

1. Aim to reach 60kg by 31 Dec 2012. =)
• Now I think this shouldn't be too difficult for me now, I have a new born passion for jogging. Still love my kickboxing and I'm taking belly dancing soon!!!
2. Must show my power in new job!!! Do not be a meek anymore.
• I really want to impress people in this new job!!! Being the only IT support staff, I hope I could value add to the company.
3. Maintain this blog with a least a post every week.
• My life seemed more interesting now, shouldn't a an issue.
4. Love more, hate less
• While I'm not exactly anti-social, I still display displeasure at some people I dislike for no reason.
5. Be good to everyone, be thankful
• I believed strongly in karma, so being to everybody is actually being nice to yourself. 
6. No more new bags or shoes till it's doomed.
• I clear my quota for next year during my hatyai trip. ^_^
7. No more beauty products or cosmetics unless it's finished.
• OMG, I just keep buying when the other products are seated so lonely in my cabinet.
8. GET A BOYFRIEND!!!
• Or rather, when is that shy friend's friend going to make a move!!!???!!!

Targets 2012

1. Start the Business. Reina B.
• I'm keeping this one. =) Hope it materialized.
2. Get JLPT4 or Makeup Cert or HP-UX II cert
• All are short term courses, shouldn't be too difficult!!!
3. Complete 21km Sundown in 3.5hrs!!!
• I clocked 4 hrs for SCMS2011, Sundown is at night, 3.5hrs is way too nice for myself.
4. Save at least $100 per month for rainy days.
• This should keep my splurging habit in check.

A really expensive lesson

I'm really suck at planning. Why can't I just endure another week?

I really shouldn't had set my last day of work as 24th!!! Coz this week I only work 4 days! If I continue to work till end of month, I could have get my last week of pay and the allowance!!! Which is a 4 digits amount!

Stupiak right?

Instead, I encashed my leave for that pitiful $100 plus.

Spring cleaning 3 days are enough, what for do I need 10 days!!!

This was the conversation I had with Miss Gwee when I posted this picture, that I wanted him for Xmas.

And on Xmas Eve, which I was wearing my reindeer ears shopping around in Orchard, we paid a visit to Abercrombie & Fitch again, since Miss Gwee had never been there before. Of course, I wouldn't let a chance like this slip! I was there on Fri but couldn't take one as there were far too many people!!!

Santa did not send him to my bedroom, but send him on duty again on Sat at A&F!

And it's the same guy again! Can see that I'm very happy. LOL.

Damn you Eteract

I joined Eteract full of hopes.

The first guy who messaged me is my own friend welcoming to the community. -_-|||

The second guy is an American is his 50s. -_____-!!! And seriously I suspect he's fake!

The third guy was a British, younger and totally different from my criteria!!! @____@ Fine... he's dark skin.

The fourth guy was a man in his 40s and told me he's a crane man and has immense wealth. You think you rich big deal ah? And he said he like fat women, as said in his profile. Fuck you, I hate pple say I fat.

The fifth guy is Chinese-Malay 27 year old guy. Finally something's looking good. But he looked nerdy and reminded me of the bespectacled pervert ex-bf of my friend, and something just so wrong about him lah.

Shit.... Seemed like I'm really picky... But I'm not looking for someone like the A&F hotties!!! Like this one below... haiz....

I gauge his waist wrongly, hence the hands on the arms. -_-|||

I'm a VIP

Had my palm read by a master on Friday, at Clarke Quay. Just gonna summarize what he said to me, in point forms. These are what I remembered.

1)Before he started my report, he told not to be angry with whatever he said. Then the first thing he spoke was, I'm very sexy. Men knows it... Hmm... U say I sexy while I was wearing jeans and sweater, how to be angry??!!?? :P
2)I'm always misunderstood by people
3) I have a tai tai life, although when I'm old, I 劳碌命. So contradicting, when I asked him, he replied, play mahjong also work mah.
4) I have one of those trident line, he told me is trade secret when I asked for it's meaning. So I googled it, it means I have be happy, wealthy and healthy. He also mentioned my palm lines are VIP lines, so I am a VIP in the future.
5) I will make my mark.
6) 27, 32 and 35 are the ages where I will have major changes: married, migrate, change job. Score one for 27.
7) I will either be very petty, or can't give birth. Okie... this is a bit depressing.
8) I'm a detailed person. And in a way true, coz I asked the ages of major changes, happen in lunar age or solar age. He pek chek replied,"see u r so detailed! It makes no diff"
 9) I'm a born therapist, and I like to help people with their trouble. Kaypo that is. But I can't help myself.
10) 1,5,7 are my lucky numbers and light blue is my lucky color.
11) I have to avoid water, e.g. puddle of water. Weird
12) I'm a good writer, or good talker. And no secret is safe with me, coz I'm loud mouth.
13) I have to marry someone who is like me, like a twin. No woodblock for me, coz I like to talk! So my other must also like to talk and siao on!
14) I appear gungho and happy-go-lucky, but I'm actually timid, and pessimistic.
15) 越老越好命
16）Avoid carbs, might get high blood when I'm older. -_-|||
17) I don't like to study, I study for the sake of study... >_<

SCMS 2011

I still can't believe I completed a 21km marathon!!! The adrenalin is still flowing!!! So much that I registered for 3 marathons that night! lol!

Anyway, the route for 21km was very interesting!!! So many slopes!!! Really taking my life siah... anyway, when we were in USS, we were greeted by their mascots! And when I saw Puss-in-boots, I quickly ran to take a picture with him!!! And because Shuhua couldn't operate my phone, I had to ran 3 times to him before finally one decent photo!!!

So, I took 4 hrs to complete 21km, not exactly my ideal timing, I had aimed for 3.5 hrs... apparently, I'm still not mentally well trained yet... must push myself harder next time!

There were a few times I felt I could go on, but I just didn't want to, I also dunno why. Maybe it's the heat, maybe it's the energy drain. In fact, after many cups of 100plus, I felt like my energy was recharged!!!

Nvm, I have 3 marathons to redeem this 遗憾. =)

I'm really blessed

I really do think I'm super blessed.

I had for months, trying to wriggle out of my current situation, that is, my tough job. I ashamed to say, I really can't take the technical load, and furthermore, I really feared the standby work.

I kept wanting to find a job before I get started on standby, and my prayers was answered. It was really a wish came through.

My friend Jensen recommended me this job, not only was the job scope something I was used to doing years ago, they could match my current pay! That was really blessing!!!

I wonder if the people upstairs had anything to do with this... coz recently, while my whole family was in Hatyai, the huat cake was mysteriously cleaned up! It was supposed to be there for a year, hence a lot of ash fell on it.

I must really pray harder now...

从韩国到合艾，我旅途畅快!!!

Omg, what a traveling month, kinda feel how a jet-setter is!!! Got to say, I love it!!!

At Korea, we travelled on our own and I'm really impressed with their subway stations. It's freaking big!!!  I didn't feel this awesomeness when I was in Taiwan. Somehow, their trains system felt very similar, like they got the trains from same vendor.

And their food is so delicious everywhere! Except for a restaurant opened by a celebrity with the initial J.C. Total waste of money.

Even their road stalls tasted very good.  Damn, missed their kimchi.

Hatyai trip was my virgin trip to Thailand. We went to a lot of places to pray, had Thai massage, which was shiokingly painful and shopping!! I also watched the ah kua show which I placed too much hope and ended up disappointed. They looked so glamorous on stage, altho some lipsynced really badly, a few really made an effort to put up the best show. Once show was over, a lot of them, especially those who danced and lip-synced badly but super pretty, were out to grab our money. Little left of any self-respect what a true performer should have. Only one truly bowed and shook hands without showing the money face.

The real main aim was the shopping!!! I bought 2 bags and freaking 4 pairs of shoes. No more place to store them liao. Gotta 乾坤大挪移 the stuff  and 横扫千军 the old items! Really have to be firm and throw away old thing.

I also got really suay, bitter by bees during the praying trip and had diarrhea on the last day. Face was so pale and body was so weak. Jia and Min had to let me rest. So we went Sizzlers and I really slept, on the chair just like that.

I hoped whatever bad things stayed in Hatyai and have a smoother days ahead.

The weather, the food, the cute guys!

想你， 心是那么的痛。

I'm back to square one...

This is a good thing, after 3 months of sheer hard work, I lost 6kgs and that brought me back to my lightest since 13yo, 74!!! You all had no idea how pleased I was and how much more determined I am to shake 4 more kgs off by end of year!

My face is sharper, my pants are looser, even my feet is getting slimmer! I had a great sense of satisfaction when I pulled my belt, seeing the marks shifted in more the right every month! Shiok to the max!

I'm so in love with my body right now, but I know I can do better!

While in Korea I can't really jog, it is a good time for my body to relax a bit before making final dashes towards 21km in Dec!!!!

30", here I come!!!

爱干净是美德，超洁癖是特意功能!

It dawned on me when I was vacuuming the floor. Being clean, anybody and everybody can do it, but to be OCD in cleanliness, it's definitely a superpower, coz only few gets it and it's sometimes awe-inspriring or awe-irritating.

This is my super power, coz I know no one will ever thought of cleaning the floor in this way: Vacuum, mop, and then use magic-cleaner to test for squeakiness and to trap any flyaway dust. It's something I enjoy doing, and recently, exercising had gave me an energy boost and I'm starting to clean the house again. Hadn't been doing coz I was always tired after work. Now I even washed the dishes for my sis which I used to hate coz I felt that one should be responsible for their used dishes. And I'll wash the sink, clear the rubbish and wipe the table. Isn't this saving people's (trouble)?

Now that I'm back at housework, the happiest is my mum la!

It's been a long time

Met up with Shennon and Hanxiang last night. What a reunion, the last time I saw them was ten years ago! A lot had definitely changed, like both of them are married, their hair length are swapped, hx is the one with the longest hair between us now, and we also lost our baby fats.

The things that remained unchanged is our personalities, our youthful looks and our craps. Lol. It was fun to reminisce our fun JC life...

I have a free gym instructor

I have really helpful friends! A guy was giving me tips on how to slim down my frame, train my stamina and reduce the size of my carrot legs!!!

To slim down frame: Circuit training. Dash 100m, rest 1 min (cool down), and dash 100m again. Repeat 4 times (That is 800m)

To train stamina and expand lungs for more air intake: breathe in through nose twice quickly and let it out through mouth.

To reduce my carrot legs: Need to apply a certain cream to convert the muscle to fat, and do leg raising exercise. Need more info on this and I'll update soon.

I believe this will work coz he used to be a trainer!!! Yeah! Free consultation!!!
