I was so appalled by the news: Jimmy Lin had a son!!!
I was so into him when I was young, coz he was so cute, and never mind the fact he couldn't sing very well. I bought his album, I cut out news that was about him, I followed his every movie, I bought every photo I could find of him until the age of 13, when I stopped. But then, my heart still skipped when I saw news about him!
Until today, my heart almost stopped.
He announced he had a son! And in the photo, he doesn't look like 35!!! Seriously, what a handsome father! *Drools*
Aww... and his fiancee was younger than me! 24! They were together for 5 years! OMFG!
When I was gaga about him from aged 7-12, I used to fantasize being his wife (come on, who doesn't do that at that age about their idol?) Then I would always secretly direct the scene which he would say "I'm too old for you" and I would look at him lovingly and answer "Age is not a problem". Very cliche, I know, but that was what the shows were all about in that period!
Now, at age 25, I do think 10 years gap isn't that big. Haiz, I missed the chance leh!
Another secret thought: I had wanted to lose weight, go work in in his record company, hopefully I would meet him and fall in love with him. LOL.
Still, as his fickle-minded fan, I wished him all the best and may he and kelly (his fiancee) had more kids in the future.

Maths
Was dealing with Jamie's math an hour ago. The question goes like this:
A teacher has a certain amount of money. If she buy 4 balls, she need $3 more. If she buy 3 balls, she will have extra $4. What is the amount of money she has?
Jamie was very certain that her method worked, and she was teaching me how (eh, this part is weird coz I was supposed to help her with this question as she claimed she dunno how to do) and I couldn't really quite get her method, which goes like this:
$/ball ----- $ for 4 balls ----- (+$3) ----- $ for 3 balls ----- (-$4) ----- ok?
#####################################################
1 --------------- $4 ---------------- $7 ------------ $3 ------------ (-$1) --------x
2 --------------- $8 ---------------- $11 ----------- $6 ------------- $2 ---------x
3 --------------- $12 --------------- $15 ----------- $9 ------------- $5 ---------x
.
.
.
etc.
She got the answer as $22, while I did exactly the same method, I got $25. Neither one of us refused to admit the other party has the correct answer, Jamie was very confident and I was indignant that a 10 yo could get it correct.
So Jia intervened, so that we wouldn't have a tie.
The best part? She gave a totally different theory: the maths question is set wrongly.
In the end, it took a combined effort of Jia and me to solve it simultaneously, and the answer was indeed $25. Seriously, I wasted 15 minutes doing the trial-and-error method while I could solve it within 5 minutes using simultaneous equations.
Brain is getting rusty indeed.
P/S: I also got Jamie to edit the grammar error. The teacher was a she and later become a he. Had to add an S to it. Ha ha.
My obsession with neatness extend to Jamie's Chinese compo, almost had to got her to rewrite the whole thing coz sentence structure was too long-winded, too many repetitive words and super untidy!!!
She said "Oh Shit" immediately when Mum threatened her she won't get to go holiday in Dec and have to stuck with me if she can't complete her homework.
Ha, I'm her nemesis.

Dangerous when alone
I think I mentioned before, I am very dangerous when alone. There's no limit to what I buy.
And today, I survived! I didn't buy anything!
I alighted at Yishun Interchange today as I wanted to talk to my office buddy a while more. Both of us are the same kind of people, and we clicked exceptionally well, even tough she looked a bit haughty when I first saw her.
Anyway, she meeting her mother at Northpoint, so we talked all the way; from the time we boarded the bus to the terminal.
When I alighted, a big signboard greeted me in beautiful pink! SASA!
Buddy just laughed and told me not to buy anything (she knew my weakness), and I jokingly replied, "Won't lah, no spare cash. " No-Spare-Cash joke shall leave to some other day to blog about. Or had I talked about it before?
I happily stepped into SASA, browsing at the items. Many times, I wanted to drop an item into the basket, but I endured. Well, SASA's promotion wasn't very enticing, so I left. Turning into the new extension, more discounts await: Beauty Language Sale! The Loreal Anti Frizz Serum was just that close to being my possession, but well, I still have the sample and seriously, 7ml can last me for quite some time. =)
Then I continued to my favourite shop: The Face Shop! Wah... it doesn't matter if they have sale or not, I love their products, pretty packaging! I was surrounded by beautiful products, huge temptation! Keeping my hands straightly in the pockets, I checked out some products, compare the prices, making a mental note of what to buy when my current product finished. This thought perked me up.
I left Northpoint, with my wallet unharmed. Heh. So proud of myself.

Finally, my 1000th post!
I thought I would reach this number last year, but I was too demoralized in my last job to blog anything.
To add joy to this rather nonsensical occasion, I'm back to 78kg! It's been 4 years since I last saw this number on my bathroom scale. It was full of trepidation when I stepped on the scale just now, as I just gobbled my dinner (rice less, veggie a lot) and ice cream at 9.30pm.
3 cheers for myself! Hee...
I think I weigh 78kg in the day time too.
Factors taken into consideration:
Jamie suaned me as a one-week jogger. K lor, tmr jog for her to see, hmpf!

Factors taken into consideration:
- We usually weight lighter at night, so, if I weigh 78kg after a a satisfying dinner, technically, I weigh 77kg on an empty stomach.
- And so, assuming that I weigh myself with an empty stomach in the morning, which we usually weigh heavier, giving a little allowance, I still weigh 78kg. Right?

Motivation
A few new "passengers" enjoyed my blog, especially those old posts. Very motivated to start writing frequently. Lot of ideas running up and down already.
But, it's 1.30am now, and I am super tired. See if I could sneak a few blog posts preview at work tomorrow, or rather later. =)
I really have a super lots of things to blog which I didn't. Time to dig those memories out.

I met up with the lady behind the BAB.com.sg to exchange. She is so friendly! Because the jacket was a little defective, not really defective but the button hole was sewn up and I had to "open" them, she gave me 4 edollars credit for me! So nice of her.
Her items are really fashionable and good quality! Love shopping there!

Jogging
Super shagged.
Was supposed to go jogging after work today, ended up I ran before I knocked off. Well, not exactly ran, but still, it cost me sweat and energy.
The few of us (newbies) were lobbied to do a video for the company. As it turned out, it was an fire emergency safety video!!! My task, or rather our task, was to run down from the stairs and made it out of the exit door frantically. We did at least 15 takes for that, which equate to 15 runs. Not our fault, our "main lead" had placed his hand either too high or too low while making a phone call.
Although the whole thing took about 40 minutes, but it felt like 4 hours. Hot, sweaty and sticky. I stoned for the rest of the day and deleted the evening jog off my schedule.
My arms and legs are still aching too.
But, I saw a slight wave silhouette on my waist today, instead of a straight line, so this is going to be my motivation!
GANBATTE!

Selling weapons but not allowed to kill
Since Mon and Wed are dedicated to swimming, my colleagues and I went jogging on Tuesday.
After a 3 rounds jog and X rounds of walking & chatting, WSNN and I dropped by the MRT station to top our ezlink cards. Before we made our way back, WSNN went to the bakery, wanted to buy the next day's breakfast for herself. And both of us were seduced by the sushi roll bread, which looked ultra delicious. We decided to share.
After getting the lady to cut it into halves and packed separately, we made our way out to the other exit of the station and started devouring the sushi bread. It wasn't until I was finishing our last mouthful of it, when WSNN exclaimed, "We can't eat!".
Just as I was about to muffly ask why, with the rolls busy rolling inside my mouth, she continued exclaiming: "We in MRT station!"
OMGGM! We totally forgot we were not supposed to eat inside the control station. As we were nearing the exit, we doubled up, hastily covering up that we were eating.
When we were out of the range of "No eating", WSNN angrily commented, "Stupid lor, this is like selling weapons to us but telling us cannot kill. So stupid. Shouldn't rent stalls for food mah if don't want us to eat!"
She indeed made a wonderful point.

Gossip bits flying all around
When one is too free, one will find something to do.
For me is to talk talk talk.
Recently, very suddenly, I turned from the gossip head to the gossip end, receiving news flash all around. One or two I just detected it by chance.
Some interesting, some sad, some just confirmed my suspicions.
Nevertheless, harmless one can tell one I sure blurt out some way some how in my own unique way (landing myself in trouble most of the time), but most bits I will immediately turned on my amnesia switch and forget it.
Coz saying out won't make anyone happy.
And because of all those gossips which some were supposed to be hidden, came my quote of the month:
"The more one conceals, the more one reveals." Anyway, there's gossips because of secrets.
I'm a very frank, straightforward, open-minded and very kaypoh person. If you tell me cannot say, I won't say. Maybe only to my teddy bear Baby.
Past lessons learned had taught me to watch my mouth, dun anyhow shoot. Apparently, I didn't learn much from it. My personality just can't help it sometimes.
I don't really understand why I'm saying all these. Maybe, I just need to say something yet I cannot say so I anyhow say.
Understand?

Random
I just saw my 30th Aug post popped up in the main page. Blogger been giving me some problems.
Went to St James again last Fri, I felt stupid. Coz every time someone passed me a drink, I asked, "Do I have to finish it?" LOL. Stupid. And for no reason, I just had to drink it from a straw. Weird.
Had 2 driving lessons back to back today, because I woke up late, I went driving on an empty stomach. With no fuel in me, I couldn't concentrate. The instructor almost pengz for 2 hours until the last minute I could steer beautifully on the outer lane. The next lesson was the same instructor, he pengz again coz I couldn't steer left properly on the inner lane. LOL. Luckily he fasting, so they had to be patient, cannot showed temper. =D He said one.
Before the St James, had dinner at Mushroom Pot, super expensive for dinner. $33.60 each. We had 2 tables as we had 11 people, the all-guys table sure can eat, think they had endless of plates coming up lor. We were down after 3 or 4 rounds.
Just packed my makeup/skincare drawer, I still have samples unused, yet I still buy. really itchy hands. Some eyeshadow pots long past their 3 years life shelf, but can't bring myself to throw away coz some hardly used. YET, I am now using the new colours already. Throw or not to throw, this is the question.
My neck super aching now, coz I had the tendancy to look up when driving, coz instructor said, "look far". My instinct was to look up.
Must learn to look far and not look up.

Bobbi Brown Makeover + Workshop
Last Fri was the makeover, and Sun was the workshop, totally enjoyed it! Especially the workshop!!!
The makeover includes a hairstyling and photo shoot, costs $80. The workshop is a 3-hr event and costs $150, both are totally redeemable! I whacked 6 items after the Sun workshop, combining both vouchers. The products not cheap, chalked up to $300+.
Back to Fri makeover, I went with my colleague Mae, who joined me in with this makeover. We selected the 8pm slot. After doing such nice makeup and hair, it was really a waste to just go home, so I gatecrashed her friend's birthday party at St. James. Mae showed me around St. James, we went to at least 5 different clubs, including Dragonfly. I thought Dragonfly would be very hip, but when I went there, I was totally aghast! Got lao ti kos and chi jo pek lor. When the young female dancers went onto the podium and danced, got one uncle looked at one lewdly and shaked his body. Eww... I was so bored, or maybe tired, that I yawned, which was very paiseh coz I was given free drinks and good seats. LOL.
The Sunday workshop starts at 10am, I chose the earliest slot. It was almost 10am when I reached Centrepoint, so I quickly grabbed a Milo from Mac and made my way there. Turned out they gave out breakfast set consisting of a mini bowl of fruits and pita bread, I think that's what I heard. I didn't get to eat my share coz I was full from the milo, workshop was starting and so the facilitator helped us put aside. At the end of the workshop, one lady took my unopened share, while she left her eaten one behind. Sibeh duiz...
Anyway, the facilitator was a very young and skinny guy by the name of Wymond. Cute looking too. Me and the other ladies took turns being his models, where he would makeup on one side of the face, and the other half was for us to try. I was modeled under "Brows", where he showed us the technique to draw eyebrows. I was a bad model, coz I didn't trim my brows, and he teased about it. So Paiseh!!!
I can proudly say that, other than the concealer and eyeliner part, I did quite well for the rest. I think I did especially well for mascara, heh heh. Anyway, he had to praise us, if not we won't buy the items, right? Thtoughout the workshop, we could try the skincare and the makeup. I was totally sold by their skin care, smell nice and felt good on skin.
As I spent more than $200, I became a member and was given 6 free 1-to-1 makeup coaching. Not bad huh, another $100++ more, I will become a lifelong member. I like lifelong membership!!!
Try the foundation stick, is good. Get them to test the swatch colours to find one most suitable for your skin tone! =) Mine really blends and doesn't show patchiness!

What a day...
I started my day forgetting my employee pass.
And then during the 10 mins break, I:
-realized my zip was open
-dropped my temp pass into the toilet bowl
-washed the temp pass, but forgot my hands
The climax was the pork flew onto my shirt instead of my mouth and left a bloody stain right in the middle.
And I ended my day by leaving one shoe behind when entering the restroom.
Best day of my life -_-|||

"I like the name mah, very nice!"
"Nice meh? 达芬妮。。。 大粪泥!Indeed, a piece of shit!"

Home Alone
Parents away in Ipoh until Monday! Wosh!
Apart from our usual eat-outside, this time round we actually have some plans to cook, coz we are so sick of outside food already plus I am still coughing and partial sniffing the mucus, not exactly good for me to eat outside food also.
Met JY today and watch "Where got ghost". Expect Neo's lame joke and overly done at family ties. The ending credits were so much finnier than the movie itself. Out of the 3 stories, the first one is the best.
When I'm alone, I really know how to buy things. Whacked a tissue pouch, hand cream, BB cream, dress shirt and masks within an hour. Ho Ho. I am happy.
Yesterday went to ION's Swensen for their dessert buffet with my colleagues, and managed to try all the exotic flavours, but at the expense of my throat. I couldn't string a proper sentence without coughs interrupting. Anyway, after the buffet, we went walking around and my colleagues were teasing me that they wanted to see my how I spend my money. Well, apparently, I don't spend a lot when I'm with friends. Like I said, I'm dangerous when alone. =D With spare cash. Then they further joked that I should place the spare cash with them.
No spare cash, still got cards leh. LOL.
Work is still nothing much, I only know I am being a parasite, riding on people's hardwork. Despise myself lor. Haiz, I am truly worried when I get to real work

Work is still nothing much, I only know I am being a parasite, riding on people's hardwork. Despise myself lor. Haiz, I am truly worried when I get to real work
