I just saw my 30th Aug post popped up in the main page. Blogger been giving me some problems.
Went to St James again last Fri, I felt stupid. Coz every time someone passed me a drink, I asked, "Do I have to finish it?" LOL. Stupid. And for no reason, I just had to drink it from a straw. Weird.
Had 2 driving lessons back to back today, because I woke up late, I went driving on an empty stomach. With no fuel in me, I couldn't concentrate. The instructor almost pengz for 2 hours until the last minute I could steer beautifully on the outer lane. The next lesson was the same instructor, he pengz again coz I couldn't steer left properly on the inner lane. LOL. Luckily he fasting, so they had to be patient, cannot showed temper. =D He said one.
Before the St James, had dinner at Mushroom Pot, super expensive for dinner. $33.60 each. We had 2 tables as we had 11 people, the all-guys table sure can eat, think they had endless of plates coming up lor. We were down after 3 or 4 rounds.
Just packed my makeup/skincare drawer, I still have samples unused, yet I still buy. really itchy hands. Some eyeshadow pots long past their 3 years life shelf, but can't bring myself to throw away coz some hardly used. YET, I am now using the new colours already. Throw or not to throw, this is the question.
My neck super aching now, coz I had the tendancy to look up when driving, coz instructor said, "look far". My instinct was to look up.
Must learn to look far and not look up.

Bobbi Brown Makeover + Workshop
Last Fri was the makeover, and Sun was the workshop, totally enjoyed it! Especially the workshop!!!
The makeover includes a hairstyling and photo shoot, costs $80. The workshop is a 3-hr event and costs $150, both are totally redeemable! I whacked 6 items after the Sun workshop, combining both vouchers. The products not cheap, chalked up to $300+.
Back to Fri makeover, I went with my colleague Mae, who joined me in with this makeover. We selected the 8pm slot. After doing such nice makeup and hair, it was really a waste to just go home, so I gatecrashed her friend's birthday party at St. James. Mae showed me around St. James, we went to at least 5 different clubs, including Dragonfly. I thought Dragonfly would be very hip, but when I went there, I was totally aghast! Got lao ti kos and chi jo pek lor. When the young female dancers went onto the podium and danced, got one uncle looked at one lewdly and shaked his body. Eww... I was so bored, or maybe tired, that I yawned, which was very paiseh coz I was given free drinks and good seats. LOL.
The Sunday workshop starts at 10am, I chose the earliest slot. It was almost 10am when I reached Centrepoint, so I quickly grabbed a Milo from Mac and made my way there. Turned out they gave out breakfast set consisting of a mini bowl of fruits and pita bread, I think that's what I heard. I didn't get to eat my share coz I was full from the milo, workshop was starting and so the facilitator helped us put aside. At the end of the workshop, one lady took my unopened share, while she left her eaten one behind. Sibeh duiz...
Anyway, the facilitator was a very young and skinny guy by the name of Wymond. Cute looking too. Me and the other ladies took turns being his models, where he would makeup on one side of the face, and the other half was for us to try. I was modeled under "Brows", where he showed us the technique to draw eyebrows. I was a bad model, coz I didn't trim my brows, and he teased about it. So Paiseh!!!
I can proudly say that, other than the concealer and eyeliner part, I did quite well for the rest. I think I did especially well for mascara, heh heh. Anyway, he had to praise us, if not we won't buy the items, right? Thtoughout the workshop, we could try the skincare and the makeup. I was totally sold by their skin care, smell nice and felt good on skin.
As I spent more than $200, I became a member and was given 6 free 1-to-1 makeup coaching. Not bad huh, another $100++ more, I will become a lifelong member. I like lifelong membership!!!
Try the foundation stick, is good. Get them to test the swatch colours to find one most suitable for your skin tone! =) Mine really blends and doesn't show patchiness!

What a day...
I started my day forgetting my employee pass.
And then during the 10 mins break, I:
-realized my zip was open
-dropped my temp pass into the toilet bowl
-washed the temp pass, but forgot my hands
The climax was the pork flew onto my shirt instead of my mouth and left a bloody stain right in the middle.
And I ended my day by leaving one shoe behind when entering the restroom.
Best day of my life -_-|||

Daphne
I saw this name as Jamie's nick on Beacon Street Girls. So I asked her, "Why Daphne when your name is Jamie?"
"I like the name mah, very nice!"
"Nice meh? 达芬妮。。。 大粪泥!Indeed, a piece of shit!"

Home Alone
Parents away in Ipoh until Monday! Wosh!
Apart from our usual eat-outside, this time round we actually have some plans to cook, coz we are so sick of outside food already plus I am still coughing and partial sniffing the mucus, not exactly good for me to eat outside food also.
Met JY today and watch "Where got ghost". Expect Neo's lame joke and overly done at family ties. The ending credits were so much finnier than the movie itself. Out of the 3 stories, the first one is the best.
When I'm alone, I really know how to buy things. Whacked a tissue pouch, hand cream, BB cream, dress shirt and masks within an hour. Ho Ho. I am happy.
Yesterday went to ION's Swensen for their dessert buffet with my colleagues, and managed to try all the exotic flavours, but at the expense of my throat. I couldn't string a proper sentence without coughs interrupting. Anyway, after the buffet, we went walking around and my colleagues were teasing me that they wanted to see my how I spend my money. Well, apparently, I don't spend a lot when I'm with friends. Like I said, I'm dangerous when alone. =D With spare cash. Then they further joked that I should place the spare cash with them.
No spare cash, still got cards leh. LOL.
Work is still nothing much, I only know I am being a parasite, riding on people's hardwork. Despise myself lor. Haiz, I am truly worried when I get to real work

Diaoz, I left my handphone in the office.
Blur blur blur
Must be the flu lah, makes me blur.
Now 90% flu cases are H1N1, I'm dead scared that I'm having it! So far, no fever yet. But headaches and mild fever happens at night.
KNS, head too painful liao, shall sleep.
FTT tomorrow... -_-|||

They say I "Ah" with a lot of people...
Where got? I just talked more that's all. It is so deja-vu. 3 months ago, I was sabohed to be the planner for dinner date with the May batch. Once again, I am the planner for the June-July batch dinner date.
Both decided without asking my opinion. Oo( >_< )oO
They said I am so friendly, so detailed-oriented, has exceptional conversational skills, so it will be easier for me to ask the people. Weird, coz from what i remember, I kenna suaned, and I suaned back. People kenna teased, I joined in the fun.
Not that I mind, just smsing and checking out people's free time, but, why me??? It's not easy to coordinate 15 people's time and getting a good location. Then there's the fear whether this place ok with everybody mah etc.
I just had trouble 3 months ago, now it happened again?
I still don't get it. Or maybe I do get it.
I think they all enjoy "bully" me! -_-Y

Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince
雷声大雨点小, HP6太令大家失望了!
There were a few scenes which we could do without it, and many scenes in the story which we could not do without it. The flow is also choppy, as usual, squeezing the thick book into 3 hrs.
The ending is so not nice at all.
Jim Broadbent isn't a good Horace choice in my humble opinion. Micheal Gambon as Dumbledore this time round is better this time, not so outrageous, still the first one was better. That Lavender is so bimbo can?
Overall, the book is better although a bit lor soh!

I hate weekends coz it's too short! Random talks and thoughts.
It's Sunday already?!?
2 days of training at AKLTG, energy-sapping but fruitful. Learning how to communicate with people, how to engage with people through subtle body actions etc. Although the instructor was talking most of the time and I had to keep shaking my legs and move my body to keep myself awake, this module had the most fun so far.
I wonder what module 3 is like. Every time the lesson ends, I feel like being one of the instructor too. LOL.
The downside of going for courses was that we ended so much earlier than usual and there was no crowds at the shopping places, which in turn made the process more enjoyable with the service assistant serving you more attentively (not the persistent kind), and hence likely to spend more money. Not exactly helpful in my case as I'm a seasonal shopaholic.
I hit $93 within 30 minutes.
I only wanted to buy shoes, but was attracted to the fashion boutique next to it. Blouse here, shoes there, and when I was leaving, there was O2 Skin having some promotion. -_-|||
It's really dangerous for me to be alone.
And today, more shopping. Gosh! But then, cheap bargains. Finally found a crop cardigan that just cover the flabby arms, not the usual kind with buttons in front. Also bought 2 DVDs: Sea Biscuit and In Her Shoes. Had watched these 2 shows online and really loved the stories. One is motivational while the other one is kinship about 2 sisters and a grandmother.
Spend about 3 hrs trying to do my finance. Checking my expenses, drafting my next month's allowance, calculating my debt. Ha! Working doesn't make me richer; only spending becomes bigger.
At least, I become more diligent in keeping track my money in-out flow, and somewhere here and there, I actually scrimped and saved. 省小钱, 花大钱 is the way it works for me. =D
So far the biggest expense is the driving lessons, but I don't regret signing up learning in school coz I like the systematic lesson plan.
Helped Jia to paint her face today for her Boss's wedding. I must say, I do have some talent in this beauty thing. Ha ha. I didn't expect myself to pull off that look for her, just going with my instincts. Other than being a little too heavy handed (I tend to put in too much strength), I thought I did quite well for that partial nude look (Put a little drama on her eyes).
The best thing about the makeup was, I was actually applying tips and tricks I learned, although some weren't exactly the way it was suppose to be. But still, it worked. =D
One must be flexible to make all things work.
I am hungry now coz I didn't eat dinner.

I was napping coz I was tired.

Nature's Diamond Ring
The sun looks like it was slapped with round mask during the eclipse. Slowly, the mask was peeled off and revealed the "diamond ring". Gorgeous right?
Just watched the rerun of the CCTV's direct report on the eclipse, they even showed how pandas responded to the the eclipse. Ha... one got really aggressive and he was supposed to be the docile one!
There will be a partial eclipse on 6th August, and SG will be able to see 30% of the Sun covered.

Angel and Devil
I was very touched by the lady who shared her umbrella with me this morning! I was just waiting at the traffic light while the sky drizzle down at me, and all of a sudden, the drizzle was gone. I turned and I saw a stranger smiling at me. So touched neh!
It's my lucky day! I tot.
Then when I reached the office lobby, I saw the lift door just closing, I ran and I looked at the auntie who stood beside the control and signaled her to open the door for me, but she just looked at me and do nothing. Eye power lor!
And I couldn't't help, but blurted out loudly, "Wah Lao, Si beh helpful lor!"
What a morning!

Sun Yanzi Rocks Indoor Stadium!!!
The money is all worth it!!!
I had bought my seat later than my darling SF and SH, hence, I was a row in front and I thought that we would missed a lot of fun together.
But hey, some person sitting beside them did not come, and I was able to join them!!! Hooray for the person! Thank you ah!
Back to the concert, it was AWESOME!!! The overall show effect was superb, the dance was great, the hologram was unique, the outfits were so cool, and her singing was perfect! I enjoyed so much that when it came to the climax, we just stood up and started waving the lightstick. I didn't even care if my flabby arms were flabbing the whole night. Too bad for the person behind who had to see my flabbing arms lah! The three of us were so engrossed that we danced to the tune, sing to the song and encore with the crowds. Oh, I feel young again!
The whole stadium sang birthday song for her too! Damn shiok lah!
I saw Yanzi's Mum and Dad, she is an exact replica of her mother! I also saw 881's Little Papaya, so skinny and fair!!! Saw Cruz Teng when we were outside queueing, and again when we were seated. He walked past us in the front and I must say, he looked gansterish with the jacket and the hair. LOL. Oh, Zhou Chong Qing was walking right behind us when we left the stadium, and I snagged the chance to take a picture with him. Heh. I like his shows, both radio and tv. I had to use the poster to nudge him on his shoulders to get the attention, was a little rude but he couldn't hear me callng him mah. SF took the picture for us, and then I couldn't help it but tell them his Steak Joke again. Ha ha ha.
Let the pictures do the talking!

Blog Block
I have a lot of thoughts when I'm in the office, but they all disappeared when I am in front of my laptop.
Finally, after 2 months, I have something constructive to do, but because free for 2 months, I can't really start the brain-gine, and because I wasted 2 months, I have zero idea what I should do.
Panick is my first name. Went to zap the ADA bible, hopefully I can help do some stuffs.
I realized I can't direct people and I need to be directed, shit, where's my leadership skill and initiative? My mind was just filled with question marks during discussion. Alamak.
2 Aries in this project, hopefully their charging nature can help us charge all the way. Chiong ah!
Scorpios scored again for being brainy, they really take in info like a sponge.
We got a Virgo, not exactly a perfect perfectionist, but I believe she has a never-say-die attitude.
I trust the Libras to ensure fair share of work among us. Ha ha.
Aquarius, which is me, shall be responsible for entertaining them. I'm quite a target board for jokes.
One certain zodiac totally reminds me of Roomie, die die must win arguments, so I zipped my mouth.
Deep down, I'm actually panicking. Yes I like doing nothing, but then it irks me and hate myself when I have no contribution to things need to be done. Seeing everyone has something to contribute but me, seriously, I don't envy myself.
Someway somehow, I learn not to take in seriously what people said, especially comfort words and compliments. Comfort words like "Good what, relax ah!" is adding poison to my heart. Compliments are like satay sticks dipped in chocolate, looked like innocent Pocky sticks until you eat and kill yourself.
I am slowly losing my trusting nature. I always think twice when people say this and that. I even consider whether they were just patronizing me or not. Maybe Jia is right, I think too much over nonsensical things le. But then, skeptisim is good someway somehow.
Haiz, real world sucks!

I'm singing in the rain...
I hated the rain last week because I chopped off my hair for the period of hot weather and it started to rain everyday since.
But today, exception. I love the rain.
Because, if the rain hadn't got heavier at the point when we wanted to return to office after lunch, I would not have met mr. hobbes!
Damn it, I saw him from from the corner from my eye when he got off the taxi and the butterflies started making entrance in my stomach.
How many months have it been since I last spoke to him/blog about him?
Ho ho ho.

Passed! Failed!
Yeap, I passed my BTT last friday! Hooray! A step nearer to driving a car!
But I failed terribly on the eyesight test! Ha!~
To legally drive a car, one need to have good vision with spectacles. So I straight away went to apply for driving lessons once I passed my BTT, and at the counter itself, we could do an eye test done by the counter staff. I had to look into this machine and said out the words she dictated which row.
So, there was this particular with miniscule fonts, so she asked me to read out the word below the 7.
The tiny font looked a bit fuzzy to me, but I still could make out that it is a "R", so I said "R".
"Read the character below 7", the lady repeated.
"R!"
*repeat the last 2 sentences 3 times yourself.*
Apparently, I must have pissed the lady pretty much coz she adjustedthe machine, which then knocked into my head and caused uber pain, and then she shoved a piece of card to me. The card was right on the table from the start and I couldn't see it.
It says, "Read the symbols this way: 'E' facing up, down, left or right".
Oh, I made a mistake. Upon scrutiny, the character was "E facing up", not "R".
I think I will be the stereotypical female driver who can't check the blind spots.
"R!"

现在工作了不适合这样可爱的造型,我 也没法carry the style like a chic chick.
老板今天看到我,有种想笑but不敢笑的sei.
无所谓啦,3个月后, 又是性感宝贝一个!
头发, 真的很重要。
细致的长发,很有sex appeal!
我的长发没了,顿时觉得好像downgrade to a little girl.
咳,我的头发再也不要短过肩了!
5 inches 的痛!!!

Tolerance to stupidity
Equation of my tolerance, T, with respect to my intellectual at different age, A and other people's intellectual, P is:
T = P/A
If P=A, then T=1 where it is at the norm level: We tolerate each other.
If P>A, then T>1 where it is beyond norm level: P can tolerate me.
If P<1 where it is below norm level: I cannot tolerate P.
I got so pissed with those boys in my Jap class. The 3 of them were talking loudly. So whatever they chat could be heard by all of us and drown our voices, especially when we were practicing the sentences on the white board. I was so pek chek that I turned around and told the boy nearest to me that they were very distracting.
That shut them up, although not for long, but at least they whispered after that.
I'm also getting balls as I get older. Openly display my displeasure to people I buay so.

Pony Comes, Money Go
Just received my second paycheck sometime last week. Kept reminding myself: do not spend unnecessarily.
After a week of endurance, I bought an i-nouvi makeup brush set after I saw it online. -_-|||
It's expensive de lor, but quality so much better than my the-body-shop set. The brush very soft you know! It's pony hair!
Gonna name the brushes like they are my pet ponies.

Taxi Uncles
Most of the taxi-uncles I met are always chatty and witty, if the journey is long enough, sometimes I also know what occupation they were before they started taxi-ferry.
This uncle I met today was once a Chinese orchestra instructor leh, no wonder the Chinese words he used all so cheem one. Like all taxi uncles, he gave me some word of advice.
Don't Marry, unless one is truly very well prepared.
In his years of driving, he had met so divorcees that he was convinced that the marriage nowadays are not true love, and if there is really true love, why is there divorce? He had 2 daughters himself, which is why there's this fear in him that no point marrying if the love is conditional.
The only unconditional love is parents' love.
Well, he's not the first one to tell me not to marry. And I think I'm kinda brainwashed also.

Drag Me To Hell
Watched this movie on Friday, was advised by my colleague not to have a full meal before it, I thought otherwise, coz lao niang don't scared easy.
Well, the movie did have an amazing fear element, but it wasn't the scare-you-to-hell that we will grossed out, it was the unhygienic effect in the show. I was really grossed out. Many movie-goers, including me, kept Eww, Yikes, Oh Gosh + Vomit Action.
I was half irritated by this hamchi guy on my right. He was totally scared shitty to hell by this show, and he was complaining loudly how come this show is rated PG and kept using his cap to hide his view, which really turned me off. The Ahmad him beside kept asking him to shut up, and at first it seemed like they were fooling around as friends. Until when the hamchi guy zaoed immediately when the show ended, it dawned on me that Ahmad was equally pissed as us. My friend shhed at him twice, and I shhed+scolded him during the show. When I did those, he looked at me so intensely that I thought he chao beng, looked me buay song leh. And I suspected he deliberately keep brushing against my elbow to annoy me. I leaned so much to avoid him that I almost crushed my friend on my left. If he wasn't trying to annoy me, then he was damn afraid that Ahmad would beat him up.
When we left the theatre and there was light outside, did we see his true form: Nerd/宅男. Oh man, the cap he was wearing, I had one exactly given by my school lor. He was wearing this purple stripes pole tee, tucked in neatly into his khakis long pants. Oh, and he had this humongous pri-sch-heavy bag which was taking my seat before I arrived.
Apparently, he lacked social skills. He doesn't know what is courtesy, and he doesn't know know when to whisper. He's nut also, my friend saw him in 7-11 while buying drinks, and he was mumbling to himself, which explained why he was talking loudly to himself during the show. Somehow or rather, he doesn't know how to read or listen also, he had thought this Sam Raimi's show was a comedy.
It was funny in some parts, but then, doesn't the word HELL elaborates enough that it is a horror show???
Wah liew.

My cute Daddy actually told Mummy to tell me to cut those newspaper clips which had the photo as keepsake, even when it was repeated on Sunday paper!

惭愧
I never expected, but R apologized to me, which I never really expected it, and I'm really touched by her gesture and what she said, loosely translated into English: "I'm more attached to you so I don't want you to be angry with me", agak-agak meaning is there lah.
Seriously, she's the second person whom I blahed out in my blog and read my frustrations vomit. The last one who did totally ignore me and treated me like I'm a disease, mind you, he's a first class honors student but had a heart narrower than the space between my nail and nail bed. Self-centred bastard. It's the truth.
Whereas R is as normal as any person and the first thing she thought was to say sorry to me, instead of thinking what a bitch I am.
我自己都觉得惭愧了。
She's almost 2 years my junior, but her bravery is far bigger than me. Till now, I had yet to say sorry to a fren whom I hurled hurtful words at 2 years ago. Anyway, when R told me why she was feeling 郁郁寡欢 whole day was because she felt sorry to me and she hadn't mean it that way.
R, I'm sorry too, as spoken, those were just moments of anger, well, not exactly angry anger, more like utterly shocked anger, and I'm glad we talked about it.
=D
Still I wished I could be as slim as you. Heh. No trouble buying clothes. Heh.

AMK Hub, AMK Ha
I realized I always had funny or stupid encounters at AMK hub.
Ha~~~
- I lost my student ez-link card but was able to retrieve back at the info counter after triple-confirming my identity. It was the spec and no spec difference.
- An uncle approached me and asked for my number, not forgetting to tell me how beautiful he thought I am. *Shudders...
- I saw a man in the ladies' toilet, and both of us were stunned, stared at each other for 3 seconds, thinking the same thing, "Am I in the wrong toilet?" Turned out he was salah coz he had assumed the ladies' to be men's after seeing the kid's urinal. Duhz, the toilet sign is just above the urinal, he had obviously used his "head" below to think.
- I accidentally knocked into a woman's tits while waving bye-bye to my friend. It felt weird to be touching somebody's boobs other than mine. I must say her ones were very bouncy.
Ha~~~

LOL
My almost senile Jape teacher couldn't recognize me, when I was totally dressed up with makeup and no specs. He thought I was a MIA student.
He passed me a stack of old homework and asked me to find mine, even though I clearly said I came for lesson every week.
Just upload my prehistoric photos of recent events. Too bad I cant blog at work, else those time will not be wasted.

Yesh! It's Friday once again!
It's 3rd week into work, but felt like 3 months. But then, if it's 3rd month into the work, I doubt I am blogging now, hearsay my project is very very demanding.
Can't help but felt that I had pissed my RO a little bit, coz I had this nagging feeling that he was twirling me around in his hands. First, he asked me to sign up for this Course A, I got all the necessary procedure done, including getting the AO (RO's boss) to sign and approve, before he replied me that I need to go for Course B first. Neh~~~ The chain of command is horrible, and I am afraid of troubling so many people and in the end nothing is done, you know.
I hope I am just thinking too much about this horrifying feeling, I don't want JnJ to repeat again. I tried to impress, but I think much could be seen in the work I had done for the research write up he asked me to do, seriously under standard. Haiz...
It's hard to communicate with my RO since he was at site and the site is 与世隔绝, I still can't really remember what he looked like. AO stationed in the office, and I felt sheepish whenever he caught me talking to my neighbour behind. Just the other day, he asked me when I signed my appt letter, I think he is disgusted to see me loitering around.
It took me 3 weeks to find out I had the compiler installed in my computer, alamak. Wasted 3 weeks, could have done some programming to keep me awake rather than reading the Ada.
Monday shall be a fresh start!

A bad time to fall sick...
My body sure know how to pick a good time to fall sick. I'm running a fever @ 37.4 degrees, whole body aching, throat feeling lumpy and sore...
I suspected I got ill was due to:
i) Dirty water, my office pantry is so so so so so dirty! Got the urge to clean for them, but then, I am not paid to do that.
ii) Walking in the rain today.
iii) Too many biscuits hence got heaty.
iv) Viral infection (por bee not this lah)
It's been a week at work. So far so good, pretty much like internship. There's nothing much we could do till we are cleared of any possible treachery, known as Cat 2A. 2 newbies joined us this week, and my talkative nature had turned my conversations into an informal induction plan for them, and formal source of gossip for my batch (people who on board same day as me). Kinda like the middle woman between my batch and the newbies. I actually answered queries on the newbies' behalf.
Lucky me has a PC to work on, and supposedly fastest among all the CRTs and White Dells, P4 leh! But then with ebuddy blocked, life is pretty boring, so I sought my best friend, Uncle Zhou! Been on fishing trips, tea session, chess games. The record was 5 times a day! Can't help it when we are supposed to self-study using books as thick as the width of my palm.
Buay tahan, told my neighbour to wake me up if I'm off to dreamland again.
Found a buddy to take BT with me, yeah! I'm finally putting words into action! Coz I hate long journeys, so I decided to by a car! After I pay off my loan to Dad... I heard my team has extra incentive$ for supporting the system, so I think I should be able to survive, if not eat bread lor.
One thing not used to was the office politics, seriously, I don't sense any until my very fair (as in skin colour) colleague, asked me to observe, dun anyhow anyhow, dun garang garang. My observation skills has never been the top, and I treat everyone equally, and I just do what I think, you know. Anyway, it's better to follow what she said, since she previously interned at this coy, and know the culture better than anyone of us.
Counting down to payday, Yes! And we've been discussing what credit card to get, lol. Those coordinators must be secretly shaking their heads and sighed, "Young people..."
My first impression to people is slowly being take over by my true nature. Been displaying stunts, like doze off, put cold water in coffee mixture, tot my handphone lost when it was inside my purse. The sotong is slowly coming out.
And one thing for sure is, the guys aint treating me like a girl, seriously. One actually gave me a friendly budge on my shoulder. The kind that you pat using the back of your fingers then showed 4 in the air and exclaimed, "Wah lau, why you like that!".
Maybe that's why I am posted to an all guys team.
Wearing skirt doesn't turn the old charm on. Shit. Size does.
No, I'm not bothered, just intensely found it an interesting behavior. Maybe I should try an experiment by losing weight and test for a different reaction?

Doing Nothing
My clearance has yet to pass, hence me and my other newbie colleagues were bored to death today.
We won't be assigned a pc till we are assigned a job, which means the clearance has to pass first.
Gonna bring my Harry Potter 5 and 6 with me to work tomorrow, should be able to finish.
Then what am I going to do for Wed, Thurs and Fri?

Point here, Point there
I went for my pre-employment check last Tuesday. It was a clinic in Jurong Point, called Point Medical Group. It took me quite a while to find it, coz it was located at 6th floor, but then there was notice saying that it has been relocated to level B1a, I went to B1, I saw many clinics above the japanese food court, but I had no idea how to go up. After a big round, I found the escalator to it.
Those clinics were segregated together hence, it took me a while before I saw the word Point among all the big signboards. I quickly made my way to the clinic, slapped my form on the table and told the lady coolly, "Pre-employment checkup".
She looked at me with a big disbelief written across her face, so did the few other customers. Then the strong smell of disinfect reached my nose, and I realized, I was in a dental clinic!
"Oh? This is a dental clinic ah?" I asked sheepishly. The uncle who stood nearest to me laughed. Ok, I got my answer and I quickly left the clinic. Then I saw the Point Medical Group was right beside where I was, so I thought, "alamak, I visited the neighbour by mistake?"
I looked up at the dental clinic signboard, it was "Jurong POINT Dental Surgery".

Argh.... Dui!!!
I was feeling very dui that I forgot to use my GV card when I bought the 4 tickets to the movie X-Men Origins - Wolverine, coz members should be entitled to discount right?
I was more dui when I saw members could exclusively get the FCUK dog tag if they buy 4 tickets at GV Vivo or GV Marina.
I had wanted to watch at GV Marina but switch the venue to GV Plaza coz our last outing were at Marina the last time.
I hardly go to movies, hence the lack of practise to use my card.
Shit de neh. Could use the dog tag to pin my donkey bag!

Unforgivable Shoes Spree
I bought 2 pair of shoes today... and this make my list of pending new shoes to be worn to 4.
I only wanted to get rid of my super high heels which I wore with excruciating pain exerted on my fat feet every time. So I brought it along with me to the new shoe boutique which is offering 15% for old shoes trade in. What a timing for me! I was thinking how to get rid of it the other day! My aim was to get ONE pair of shoes for work, since I have only 2 pairs which are more appropriate. I ended up buying TWO pairs coz I was seduced by the buckle one they showed me while I was waiting to try the shoes. -_-|||
I have 2 pairs of shoes currently being rotated for wearing, the black one being my favorite, which is quite worn out, the white one for dress-down day. 2 pairs more for pretty pretty only. Recently snagged one from Jia coz she couldn't wear it.
Anyway, I am almost hogging the shoes rack all to myself already. I own a total of 12 pairs, which is just 5 pair less than Dad's, Mum's, Jia's and Min's all add together. =D
Min corrected my blog heading, I wanted "Unforgivable Shoes Sin", but she commanded, "You should type Unforgivable Shoes Spree!!!!!!!!!!"
Ok lor.

Hard to manage Hair
It's been a month since my haircut, not sure whether it is because of the hot weather, or it is just my hair, it has become very 鸟。。。
Like 鸟巢 like that...
Has an urge to cut it even shorter... but the, it probably doesn't do me any good, and my fat face will be fatter...
Got straightening tongs, but not too keen to use it coz I will be sweaty by the time I finished pulling my hair sleek.
Rebond, no money and I don't think I need super straight hair, i just want it to be be naturally straight. The right side perks like Jamie's butt.
How???

Wah Lau Eh
I went to sign employment contract today.
And I brought my IC photo along as stated by HR. So I assumed it was for the employee pass.
Well, never assume, it really makes an ass out of me.
Because I had assumed, I went there in my most casual form: Hairband, specs, no makeup, not even my makeup base which tones my face color.
And in the end, I have to take a picture for my employee pass, by the HR people themselves. I was utterly shocked, shocked, shocked. I had enough of ugly pass photographs!
I can imagine how ugly the pass photo will be. Shit. And I'm thinking how to hide that picture already.

I'm employed once again!
I was so happy, elated and excited that it totally felt like I received the letter of offer from NTU again! The adrenalin rush is so overwhelming!
I totally could forgive my hard disk for dying on me!
This job was totally unexpected, coz the second interview was the formidable lady interviewer and I didn't feel like I performed that well. Still, I'm glad that they decided to give me a chance and offer the job.
It is like how an unrequited love being requited!
Ever since I graduated last year, I totally shunned the software engineer jobs, coz I don't think I like it. But then, to be a network engineer, I have to start from bottom low, which was totally unexpected, coz I expect my degree + CCNA to give my a jumpstart, you know? Anyway, life work in a miraculous way, they more you run away from it, the nearer you get.
After I left JNJ, I was hitting nails for my job hunt. So, I went to pray, where my aunties said very zhun and I told the gods, please please please, let me find a suitable job, a good job, a nice job. And it so happened this job was the first interview I went after after praying. And really miraculously, I was informed of a second interview, 4 hours after my first interview. I really believed the gods heard me. I had thought that I behaved like a monkey in front of the 5 panels for the first interview. So a second interview was totally unexpected. Furthermore, I met the formidable lady interviewer again in the second interview. I saw my chance evaporated.
A lot of thoughts passed through my mind during my jobless period, "How? No money already", "Haiz, cannot buy", "Dunno can survive till when", "Guan Yim Ma, did you hear my prayers?"
And the job came to me like a beacon of light. It seems like 冥冥中自又安排。越觉得不可能发生的事, 竟然发生了!Dun want to believe also cannot.
Of course, I shall prove to myself that I could actually be a software engineer! A good one too! There were many times when I thought I can't make it, but I did. So shall this time too!
And you know, it's a good karma! Because I am happy that I got a job, so I want to buy some food home as a mini celebration. I happened to be in PS, coz I was actually there for a interview, but then, after some twists and turns, the interview was pushed to Mon and then after that, I had to cancel it coz I accepted the job offer. Then I remembered this roasted shopin PS Kopitiam, opened by the Mediacorp actor whom my Mum like very much. So I decided to buy from there. And because I went there, I saw the actor! So star struck!
Must make use of the opportunity to take picture right? I was telling him how much Mum likes his show and called every guy she saw "Machi Boy". I forgot to shake his hand after the picture, but then he already had his arm around me, who cares about the handshake? Mu ha ha ha!
Damn it, his face is so small compared to mine!
Back to my hard disk. No more heartwreching about those files, but still, need to bitch a bit.
I knew my current portable hard disk was near the end of its life, that was why I wanted to transfer the files over to the new one when it died. Suay lor. Managed to revive it for 10 minutes by putting in the fridge for about 30 minutes, but it wasn't enough for me to transfer all the photos over. The hard disk still runs when connected, but the drives just refused to show up.
Bo bian lor, 2008 is photoless year for me. and 2008 is so full of wonderful memories!
Maybe can hog friends who had my photos. =D

I'm not a kid doesn't mean no praises.
My wardrobe's knob has been hanging loosely. My parents had tried fixed the knobs for me twice, but it didn't last more than 3 months and it started dropping out again. So today, I observed a little bit, and decided to fix it the other way round. The screw was driving in from the inside, then the knob would push to the screw from the outside. So I fix a screw inside the knob and screwed in from the outside, and it worked great, just to need spill some glue inside to fasten it. I was so proud and happy, and I told my mum that "I am very clever because I fixed the knob", coz it's not everyday that I do some carpentry.
Instead of getting praise, all I get was a string of cold words, "Of course you have to be better than us what, you study so much!"
I was thinking, "Why I am I getting diss? Did I just pour sarcasm on my mum that she diss me?"
Is it so hard to earn praises?

Wifely qualities
Jia commented on my entry on the "Wife".
True enough, we were so much more independent when it comes to housework, and not to mention that we pass with flying colours sometimes. The training no doubt, brought some special envy amongst friends and relatives when they knew we could do this, we could do that.
You should see how Jia and I "work" during CNY, some aunties are so god damn envy of my mum who produced such good daughters, ha ha. Yes we complained about the tiring work, but we still do, coz is a family tradition.
Of course, I am proud to say that I do a better job in cleaning because of my low tolerance level for dirtiness. Not to say Jia don't do a good job, just that she has an unusual oversight when it comes to dirt, so I usually do the cleaning.
However, one thing I never do was to wash the toilet, partly laziness, coz I only do things I familiar with, and toilet washing was something I hardly do. Before Feb 2009, I think I only washed my home toilet thrice.
And now, my newest hobby, is washing toilets. I think my mum will be proud, now that I wash it on regular basis, especially during my bath time. My dad will probably faint when he sees the bill next month.

Next time, go market also must change clothes.
Wah lau, I was practically threw into the situation without any preparation.
My mum had been helping my next door PRC neighbor sourcing for a job, so today, our 12th floor neighbour, whom my mum was working for, had a similar job offer for the neighbor, and said that she would bring her there.
Well, I assumed my mum would go along with the neighbour, aunties mah, get along much better.
So I prepared my bag, thinking after sending the neighbor, I would make my way to Northpoint.
To my utter shock, I was to go with them! To Novena!
I had no time to change out of my pajamas, which were like a super nua old T-shirt and a shorts that kept rolling up. Even if I had requested them to wait for me, I could just imagine my mum nagged the following at me:
"Aiyah, no need lah! You always wear like that go out mah! No need to change! Anyway, she (12th floor) will drive you all there, a short while later you all make your way back, not going shopping, no need to chnage lah! Don't waste time already, she got appointment!"
Even if I wore pajamas out to somewhere, at least not so nua, you know. Like a sports berms, with better slippers. I'm sure you all have a standard dress code, like which types of clothes are to be totally wore at home only, some for wear within 1km, you know. I'm walking around in shopping area wearing my sleepwear! To think I spent time packing my bag instead.
Feel so totally awkward, coz the shorts kept sticking to my butt because of my sweat, had to pull them inconspicuosly!
GAWD! Totally felt so uncomfortable! This taught me not to be too lazy next time.
But then, I probably looked quite alright, else my mum would have nagged at me already. She had been dissing me for wearing pajamas wherever I go, but then those were like better looking, you know.

A Wife
It was just a random chat about a random topic with a male friend whom I had known for about 4 years.
He was mentioning that after knowing me for so long, he still doesn't know what I like to do for leisure. So I replied I do read, usually on girly stuffs. He said girly stuffs reminded him of cooking and sewing (my girly stuff actually meant beauty tips and fashion), so I casually told him that I do know how to cook and sew, although they aren't really my hobbies.
"Wah, you know how to cook ah? Then you make a good wife leh!" He typed back.
Excuse me, I can't help but feel a little dignified, why must a good wife knows how to cook and not husband? I was quite appalled that he had such primitive thoughts, I always assumed he was those modern guys, who will tell their gf/wife: Dunno how to cook/wash/iron nvm, we get a maid lor!
I'm not trying to promote feminism, but then, if one can cook makes a good housewife, is that why all the adultery with the maids happening? Then what makes a good husband? Bring home the bacon?
As we debated on the issue, I further probed him what makes a cooking wife such a big turn on for him (Yeah, it turned him on, heat up the stove babes!). Was it because it kinda make him proud to have a wife who knows how to cook, compare to someone's wife who doesn't. He nodded.
"So, your potential future wife must know how to cook?" I retorted.
"Not a must, but good to know." He replied. Hmm, so in so, still must know how to cook lor, and must be part of his package, which I think is Beauty + ___ Skills (Fill in the blank yourselves.), cooking is a bonus.
I dunno if I will ever cook for my future potential just because he loves it, but I do hope that future potential will learn how to cook for me though. However, most of the time, it is the women who pampered and stroke up the men's ago leh. I think men will only cook during the pursue process. I've seen many cases where my female friends who can't even fry an egg, went to learn cooking just to shower love on her boyfriend, because he likes to eat this. Just too many cases which kinda put me off at times. What did the bf do to shower her with love other than empty promises and fading flowers?
Oh god, I sounded so much like a spiteful spinster once again.
Can't help but to mention it once again childishly: As much as I heard so many compliments about my cooking skills (er hem, the baked potato lor), cleaning skills (I am damn proud my obsessive cleaning and organization skills), and being praised by a guy that I makes a good wife who can cook(roll eyes), where is The One?
Bloody hell. I think I know why.

Aiyoh, I cannot finish again!
The psychometric test was tougher than I expected leh... I couldn't finish the first part, think I still have 10 questions to go...
The second part was relatively easier, still, I think I accidentally shade the wrong answer at the last second. Think I spend too much time reread the questions.
The personality questions were... too many! I took exactly 45mins to do it, some people finish halfway through the sessions.
Am I too slow or too kiasi?
Chor lor Jamie bump into my face while I was drinking, and then I accidentally bite the lips. Painful siah!
The interview is tomorrow, porbee porbee please Tua Peh Gong and Guan Yin Ma!

Formidable Lady!!!
If only my wish could be as true as this, I indeed got back the same lady interviewer as last time, which is my worst fear for this interview!!!
As if having 5 panels was not bad enough, of all things, I least expect to see this lady again.
Roar... and she recognize me some more, I must have given her a memorable answers the other time. (That interview was disastrous)
I was still wishfully thought, even if I got back the same interviewer, she would not remember me. I have shorter hair, and the colour is different, and this time round no specs.
Yah right, the moment she saw me she said I looked familiar.
So much for the change.
Another interview upcoming. Tua Pek Gong, please please please let me fly though this Thursday's job interview.

Challenged for compliments
I'm a very non-competitive person, so basically, I'm always not up for challenge. But then, when the situation arise, it does ignite the tiny weeny spark somewhere in me to accept the challenge.
And in such situation, usually because the compliments are not directed at me, so I feel disappointed, and I know I have to do something to earn those compliments.
In a way, I survive on compliments because I do bothered by people's opinions at times, which isn't very good lah, coz will think too much about other people's thoughts. But, who doesn't like to be complimented, right? Just have to sieve the quality and quantity out of it, truthful and sincere compliments.
It's a good cycle: want compliments, work towards the goal, earn the compliments, feel good about, put in more effort to achieve goals, earn more compliments.
Right, so I shall turn words into action. Time to hit the gym again.

In love with this
Somehow for some reason, I'm obsessed with this kind of hobo bag...

Nah, I don't need a Gucci. I first lusted after it when I saw a United Colours of Benetton hobo at Taka. The print looks like Coach tho.
So I try to search for a similar one at C&K, which I did, but I dislike the strap.
Then today I lusted another bag... Miss Gwee lah... The bag looked so nice on her.
I better get a proper one for interview and work, the current one is gonna break sooner or later. The strap has already started to tear.

Early Morning Rage
It's only 8.40am, and my house had been down with 3 raging fire moods.
The first was Jamie, then me because Jamie made me so with her mood, then my Mum.
Needless to say, my mother slashed out on the all of us the whole morning, finding everything with fault and scolded us all. Her lasted the longest. She was still kpkbing to my dad right now.
If only she could calm down, she would have realised we didn't not do those things to make her pissed, I mean why would we want to kenna scoldings from her? For fun?
I would have cleaned that spot if I had seen it, obviously I didn't. Didn't she hear all the water splashing inside the toilet, what, she think I play with water is it?
Really bad day to start with. And tomorrow I'm stucked at home to help her with those offerings making, she better in a good mood.
Heaven knows how long she needs to be in this mood, 说来就来。
Sucks to be woman.

Some entertainment
You are warned, please do not eat while reading the following entry, coz I think you will just burst out laughing with your rice flying everywhere. =)
I'm having an interview tomorrow, but instead of devoting my time to prepare my questions and answers, I actually dig out all these photos and had a good laugh! And the reason why I dig out all these photos was because, I need a passport photo for tomorrow. 独乐乐不如众乐乐!The below photos are in my hall of fame/shame, ha ha ha. I have it because it is either very nice, or it is very damn ugly.
PAP K2 grad pic, look at those puppy eyebrows! Apparently, my double chin has been with me since 6 years old.
This was taken in P4, after school, hot and sweaty and grumpy. My eyes looked cocked, the specs looked more cocked.
This was taken in Sec 1! I remembered queuing up, and then adjusting the tie, and I was still very happy in the first shoot, then without warning, the photographer just kachak the next shoot, hence the dulan face. The hair obviously was very very very untame.
This probably in sec 4, dunno for what and dunno why so sad/grumpy/listless. I like the hairstyle tho, that time very popular. Supposed to be layerised, but I combed it behind the ears.
Oh! This one is taken at a model agency! Yeap, you saw it right, model agency. Out of boredom after O'level, me and my friends went to this agency, and we signed up as Calefare! =) My "first show" was 笑傲江湖,and there were Fann Wong, 李茵珠, 曾诗梅, 陈秀丽!And I sure know how to make a grand entrance, I fell flat on my face the moment I entered the studio! And without specs, I actually dun recognize the above actresses, even when I was holding 曾诗梅's hands.
This should in Poly year 2 already, coz I am wearing a T-shirt bought on purpose to piss someone, I was wearing contacts and my hair is coloured. =) I like this photo! Had a nice tan colour too.

This photo was taken in the instant photo booth at NYP, on my way to NCS for interview, and was pretty last minute. The booth takes 4 different shoots. The first 3 was okie, but the last one was a mistake coz I tot someone pulled open the curtain! My smile was stiff too, coz I was so hot and sweaty and nervous. First job interview leh!
Complimentary photo shoot from the primary school I worked at, it was supposed for the pin-up staff photo on the board. I never thought I needed to be in too, so I wore tee-shirt to school, and ended up had to borrow a blazer from one of the school clerk. I used to wear tee, 3/4 pants and slippers to work, until the VP suaned me. By right I had lost quite some weight, but then, still looked fat and with a huge double chin.
Somehow, I think I looked like a bouncer. If you cover away the boobs, I do look like a fat man.
Ooh!!! My favourite and most recent photo, taken last year in NTU instant photo booth. Had a good hair day, nice brow week and radiant look.
Gonna take a nice one tomorrow, just in case... I don't have any more passport photos already.
Comparing the poly one and the most recent one, I really aged a lot siah...
Missed out one Ultimatum Ugly like Hell pic...

Everything is so wrong, the Hair, the fringe, the specs, the face, the Chin, the neck, wait, no neck. It is ugly beyond words!!! I am not surprised if someone who don't know me see this pic and assume it is a guy. I looked like those boys with spilling fats over the pants and had to keep pullng the pants up every 3 seconds because I am too fat and lumpy to keep the pants on! Wah kao, fugly is a better word! This was during 1st 3 months at YJC.
Hideous! And what's wrong with my face siah? I looked so tiko!!! Machiam I saw some panty and grinning to myself stupidly!

By right I had lost quite some weight, but then, still looked fat and with a huge double chin.Somehow, I think I looked like a bouncer. If you cover away the boobs, I do look like a fat man.
Ooh!!! My favourite and most recent photo, taken last year in NTU instant photo booth. Had a good hair day, nice brow week and radiant look.Gonna take a nice one tomorrow, just in case...

Empty Threat
Did I ever mention that, Jamie is like a mini me?
Despite the astrological difference, there are just too many similarities between the 2 of us, I feel at times.
The way she buy things like she has a lot of money, ha ha ha
The amount of chocolate she could lay her hands on and stuff herself with it
Not to mention she copied my current hairstyle, had a red specs and have clothes that the mini size of mine. Hmm... machiam my die-hard fan siah. (I is bhb again)
Anyway, so to say, Jamie's many actions reminded of myself and very often, I know what she was thinking.
Something was not right when Jamie told me on Monday that she has to stay back on Wed to do some Science project research. It was weird coz it seemed like she had the plan brewing in her for a long time. The excuse was too well planned to me and for someone so blur like her, it is weird. So, I told her, don't stay in school, ask her friend to come to our house to do, got food, got drink, got computer mah! What a nice place to do research, right?
Then on Tues, she said her friend couldn't make it. Ok, fine, can't make it, then Jamie will have to come home.
Then on Wed, after I had waited for her 10 mins outside the school gate, she called me on my mobile that her form teacher requested that she stayed back in school to help another teacher to do something...
Very very not right... Why so coincidentally that she has to stay back to help teachers after she told me her fren cannot stay back for the research? Anyway, I asked her what time would it end, so that I could come and pick her up. She said 2.30pm. Fine.
So I got home, wanted to email the form teacher whether Jamie was speaking the truth. But then, I don't want the teacher to have a bad impression of Jamie, and i scared she will confront Jamie in the whole class and embarassed her. So I didn't email.
I went to fetch Jamie at 2.15pm, as it was a 15mins walk to school. At 2.20pm, Jamie called me and asked where am I?
Now, based on our past experiences, Jamie would always give us a call and determine our location, so that she would have ample time to make like she was indeed in school or doing whatever we thought she was doing. She deployed this tactic the last time she pontan tuition class.
So, I was pretty sure that she wasn't in school helping teacher. So when I saw her, I lied to her that I had emailed the teacher to check whether she was telling the truth and should it not be, she is doomed.
Now, usually in such cases, if she was indeed truthful, she will exclaim loudly, die die also say she is correct. However, this time, she just kept quiet. Eyes look shifty some more.
I think I behaved the exact same way when I was caught playing with friend instead of at an ensemble practise when I was in primary school.
Anyway, at night, I received her full apology plus her own meted punishment in a "love letter" laid on my dressing table. My empty threat worked and I didn't even tell her that the teacher replied or not.
她屁股一翘, 我们都知道是小号还是大号!She can't lied to us at all.

Random Verbal Vomit
The hair is shitty after washing, starts to curl at all the places. Got to be hardworking and starts blow-drying and brushing them until it's straight!
Stinky Jamie said I had an extra wrinkle, shit her lor! She was also the one who commented my hair very messy and ugly! Hmm...Shall made her do more assessments.
Job hunt sucks... It makes me ponders the past and regrets the remissness
Need to copy my Jap notes again, I forgot all the previous grammar and vocab in stage 1.
Got to fix those torn books, else Jamie will further torture them and we will have to rest the books in peace. She can't stop reading, which I don't know whether it is a good thing. She reads so much that she neglects her homework.
Thinking of an old friend, whom I have not contact for 2 years, I wonder if she still reads this blog.
Need to start my exercise soon, I feel fatter, and I am experiencing pains in my knees, not a very good symptom.
My sandals just kept on getting torn at weird places after I glued it back. Decided to throw for good, wasted my glue.
Had too many random thoughts the whole day, but could not remember what they were. I think my brain is too stagnant, almost like can feel the rust. I need to start thinking.
Got to stop procrastinate again!

Never been lighter than now...
I had chopped off 6 inches of my lovely locks horrible hay hair.
I feel sexy once again! When was the last time I feel sexy after a haircut?
It is truly amazing how a haircut does to one's look, I looked 5 years younger!
Now must show IC before I can watch R21 show.
The weather these days is so hot! I sweat so much until my T-shirt is soaked. It's like I'm back to primary school! I lift a finger also sweat, and everywhere I go is like a suana.
Rain, please water the land a bit please.

My stomach did a somersault once again, becoz of Mo Mo Ren
We haven't chat for quite some time already, and each time I see him online which he hardly does nowadays, my stomach will just do a backflip and all the butterflies will make entrance.
Even had a nightmare because of this. In fact is a silly dream.
Shit.
I think I should make a move again, instead of stalking his FB & friendster profile, seeing whether he's attached or not.
I must be brave a little bit more! I had asked him out the last time, I can do it this time round too!
Haiz... 又发花痴了!

Too lazy to blog, not too busy to blog
It feels so weird to be out of job for close to 3 weeks, but it feels like months. Totally deja vu.
Despite my current inflow has been terminated, it doesn't really bother me much as I continue to enjoy a wee bit of entertainment + shopping.
I am happy even if it is just buying a washing sponge! Of course, the real cloud nine factor is shown below!
Funny and cute hor?
**************************************************
March's Fri the 13th was definitely a bad day for me, for my family, for the whole Lim Clan. My youngest uncle died of a heart attack, while doing the self-paced 2.4km in the Nee Soon Driclad Centre. Another healthy military guy who left the world just like that.
Very very sudden.
My family last saw him during CNY at our house, where he was joking as usual and snacking food and feeding his 3 kids from our kitchen. And now he's gone.
I feel sorry for my cousins. They are now orphans, for they lost their mother 10 years ago.
During the wake, many people cry their hearts out, not only because a man is gone, but seeing his 3 children, without a father, and a mother, is a very sad sad scene. Many tissues were honourably sacrificed when they recite their remembrance for their dad, snuffing symphonies were made. Even my mum cried, and I mean, really cried her heart out, never seen her so sad, and I was very taken aback. Everybody was in deep grief.
My mum had a dream about him and the deceased auntie on the 7th day of his death, it seemed like they had reunited in the netherworld. Bless them.
**************************************************
And I didn't jog at all for my healthy lifestyle, coz too lazy to wear socks, heh heh. I was more into pulling my own weight (pun not intended) in the open gym opposite my house, trying to tone the upper arms. Still, I have plans to re-ignite the jogging spark in me, maybe in April. Ha...

Jogging!
Once again, I'm onto healthy lifestyle.
Going for a slow jog tomorrow morning, morning leh, I usually don't wake up so early when I don't work.
I'm targeting minimum 30 minutes of slow jog.
Wish me luck...

Stupid rain
Spoil my plan... I wanted to go jogging tomorrow morning one!
and I so totally screwed my technical test. Tee simi kee, should have started with the easiest topic, and I chose to start numerically, ended up finishing the last 30 questions in 5 mins!
Shit.
Took the Singapore Flyer last week, conclusion: spectacular view
Out of boliaoness, I gave 欠扁 questions to a little girl, who coincidentally, by the name of Siqi too, on our way home from the SF trip.
Me: Got a person by the name of Happy, guess Happy's occupation.
Little SQ: Comedian! Clown!
Me: Nope, the answer is Nurse, coz Happi-ness. Guess what's his gender?
Little SQ: Male!
Me, impressed: Wow, you are right, but why leh?
Little SQ: Because man makes woman Happy!
Me:o_O!
Her answer is perfectly innocent, but context wise, both her grandmother and me just so happened to think of the salah idea lor...

If I have a brother...
I would imagine him to be like TX, who always tease me, verbal bully me and tekan me whenever he could, yet you can't be angry with him for too long because he was just so funny and nice. Very pek chek lor, always kenna his aim and tio suan.
He and Cheng had invited me for a treat, and said I could get anyone I know to join too. So the group yesterday was a little complicated, with half of my DIP group + full strength of my HRM group. Our relationship is like a local area network, where one point is connected to another point internally.
We had dinner at Changing Appetites, I had expected full house, but turned out that there were many free seats. Dunno who choose one, we were seated at this cushion seats which were so low, and bouncy. Very difficult to maneuver. I took my camera with me, but we were all so busy talking that the camera was forgotten.
Manage to catch up with GL whom missed out our last HRM gathering. He did not bad, working at a Norway shipyard company. 3 of us were in gov agencies, 2 in big companies, 1 still studying, and me OOJ soon. With TX and the 2 jokers, BS and Austin, you won't get bored.
We went to play pool after dinner, and I learned how to play, finally! I had refused point blank to learn after a bad one during my poly times, where I just couldn't get the hang of it. Yesterday, it turned to be quite easy, altho I still need more practise in aiming and controlling my strength. Some of them claimed they dunno or not that good, but from what I see, they are being really too humble. TX challenged me, and our game were played for so long until he buay tahan, so he gei siao gei siao by the table, and when I hit, he would push the ball and let them drop in. Ha ha.
As usual, TX laughed at my posture being too stiff. -_-||| and my unexposed cleavage.
But it was really fun, and now I can't wait to try my hand at pool again. My back ache a bit tho.
The only photo I took for them on the upriding escalator. Lousy cam, picture turn out very blur.

My 2 sifus, Janet and Andrew, WC and GL, TX and SK, BS and Austin's mop of hair (I don't know who is who).
We (actually is TX and me) already settled our next outing at WC's condo to play Wii and have BBQ. =D

Boom! A big bang!
First, my new printer cocked up.
Now, my computer exploded.
What's next? My mobile phone probably.

On MC Again...
Incomplete osmosis process and overload of nutritional values in the body, which lead to the incapability to detect and react to the external factors to start the osmosis.
Meaning, I was too tired to bath last night, plus I ate too full for dinner, and slept like a log, hence couldn't wake up earlier to bath and prepare for work. Hah!
First time on fake MC...

Post BBB+CNY Party: A huge Purplish BANG!
Forgot to thank Tze Khee for the hot pink photo album!
Thanks to you all who made my "21st" birthday party so memorable! Finally uploaded the photos on Facebook, but I have yet to add comments.
Heh heh, the best thing about birthday parties, is PRESENTS! A big haul leh! :P
Thanks to DIP gang & AMKSS Band Gang who gave me the C&K vouchers, I believe I had enough to buy 6 pairs of heels already!
Qiyou gave me CityChain Vouchers, he loves giving vouchers, ha ha. The last time it was The Body Shop one.
I totally love the evening bag Miss Kim bought for me! Got compartments inside, and it's fat and oblong, chio!
NYP Gang bought me a nice coat and an interesting gold chucky necklace from Forever 21, now I know F21 has my size!
Richard himself gave me a pair of Mashimaro slippers, a Bear Bear plastic container with iPOD shuffle stucked inside (took 3 women and 1 man to take it out)! Oh My God! Now I have accompany for jogging! =)
KM and Felix's aromatheraphy speakers, sweet! I can throw the X'mas speakers away already!
SK's fiction story book, right, I said I want Harry Potter! Ha ha, it's a chick flick, so yeah, suit me too. The book's name is so enticing, "A good girl comes undone". Hmm...
Dennis and Audris gave me Taka voucher, yeah, more shopping. And in view of my soon jobless state, it is gonna serve me well.
Ivy gave me an eyeshadow palette, although I mentioned no makeup, but the palette is Chocolate Dream! Not only is the name delicious, so are the colours! Finally got a brown one to play with mode eye look. Hee.
Yanqi sponsored the cake, =) Her hubby sponsored partial cost of the party, coz he gave me an Ang Bao! So touched neh, coz I seldom see him.
Thank you people! I felt like I'm 12 all over again! Was so rejuvenated despite the preparation!
Not forgetting my beloved Mum for preparing the food, naughty Jamie for being the photographer, and nice Godma in helping out! And they sportingly wore purple too! Dad stayed on a little for the phototaking session coz I asked him to. Best. And Jia for being a nice backdrop, and cake cutter, mu ha ha ha. I was so stressed during cake cutting coz Mum was saying, "too flat, too thick, too big". Sounds like me hor, flat face, thick thighs, big body!
Hope you all like the door gifts, is the sweets nice? I haven't get to eat it myself yet.

Stay or Leave?
My boss called me in for a "casual chat" half an hour before knockoff time. We sat in the very meeting room where he interviewed me.
He said he would want me to stay on, coz he doesn't want to waste the effort in grooming me. All the while he talked, I listened.
Even though he said he will try to keep me if he could, but the things he said, made me want to leave even more.
Points I taken note:
My boss once said I am not a team player, I tried to micro-manage my teammates' things, knowing what they had done, what issues they were handling. End up? I am not structured or organized. What a joke.
Boss said COMR is good in technical, from what I see, he's good at taichi-ing. I never told my boss what COMR told me when I asked him questions about the machine lying around.
I would have gave second thoughts about leaving, but the 30 minutes chat seems more like "Why we don't need you" talk. I was fighting to hold back my tears, coz he really made me feel like I am not an asset to the company.
I took 1 minute to think, and I gave my final answer.
The lousy me cried in the toilet for 10 minutes.

Points I taken note:
- I earn $100 more than colleague on my left (COML) but my performance is not as good as her
- If I were to combine my performance with colleague on my right (COMR), we still not as good as COML
- I am not passionate about my job (I totally agree, it's hard when the table is messy 24/7) but I still do my work!
- I am not proactive (I believe I did, but probably too insignificant to COMR who report everything)
- I am not confident (It drained off day by day)
- I am not mature like COML when handling issues (which part?)
- I am not as structured or organized as CMOL

- "Dunno, the Blackberry is on YOUR table" - what the fuck, we share the workspace!
- "I dun deal with windows 2000" - fuck you, it's your job to learn both operating systems!
- "I dunno, I didn't handle it." - seriously, you aren't a team player too!

Butterflies come and go...
So funny that whatever I do, things ended up funnily. This is what happened.
"Benjamin Button" is a new show released, surely, seats would be whooped up in seconds, right? So I checked online, J8 has the most seats available. I wanted to book tickets online, but they only accept Visa CC.
I decide to buy the tickets via AXS, and holy shit, they ran out of paper. So no tickets, but money was paid!
Crap, I couldn't concentrate during my Jap lesson, thinking, "Shit, no tickets, do I have to buy another 2 tickets? Later better try another AXS machine."And so I did, after I keyed in the reference number and my mobile in another AXS machine, the display read "Tickets had been printed".
Crap.
I made my way to J8 GV. Thank goodness, the GV manager was able to print my receipt via their system, and henceforth, I had this huge ass A4 size paper as ticket stubs to keep as remembrance.
Anyway, I was 2 hours ahead of the time we suppose to meet, so I chilled myself in the library as I could feel myself getting hot and flustered as each second ticked. Ha, pun!
Made my way to the meeting location 10mins earlier. My heart was bit-bot, bit-bot, bit-bot lor. Then he came. =). Anyway, I totally forgot about the "go in 10mins before the show", and I still happily huhed at the cinema crew who checked the ticket. We wanted to go into the theater at 4.15pm, the show was 4.35pm. See, my brain was too fried by embarrassment to think properly. The cinema crew who checked the stubs looked astonished at the paper, I was thinking who could be more suay than me? Anyway, he politely told us we could only go in 10mins before the show. Ha... paiseh! So we hang around at Poh Kim, finding boring topics to talk, like work. =P Anyway, I started harping about the unfairness in my workplace, totally making the #1 mistake of a bad date: Do not complain about work. Shit, I shall just think of it as a group outing with only 2 of us, so it's not a date.
I had wanted to pay for the tickets this time round, but he had his money out, so I took lor. But I also very extra and told him, "Aiyah, I wanted to treat you this time so that the next time you treat!" He smiled, politely I think. Damn, I should have just refused the money and asked him to treat me next time.
We didn't buy any food or drinks, and thank goodness we didn't, coz I was curbing my burps, swallowing them down to my stomach. Funnily, where did these burps came from? I didn't had a full lunch!
3 hours later, the movie finished, I was just desperate to find the toilet that I didn't preampt him and started making my way out of the theater, he just followed me when he noticed I was leaving. Opps, mistake #2: Ignore the date. Okie, it's offically a group outing.
I forgot about the toilet when we were outside. Anyway, he said he was going to visit a friend in NUH, so I just walked with him till we reached the escalator then we parted, coz he had parked his car in the basement and I was going back by MRT.
One thing he said before leaving, which made my day happy, "我们下次再看。" He may be just being polite, but then, I am still happy. HA~~~ I can smile to myself silly each time I think of it. Heh~~~ Anyway, I secretly think he also paiseh and thoughts were incoherent, coz he said "下次再看", I thought, 再看什么叻?Benjamin Button again? Ha.. Me siao.
Maybe there might not be a next time already, but still, I'm glad I had a made the first step to ask him out. And thanks to Miss Gwee who egged me to do it, else, I still gong gong dai dai, hee hee haa haa about it. Thanks to Miss Ng, who wanted to know what happened eagerly, so I blogged it and release any extra excitement that still running inside me.
Too many unanswered questions, but impossible to list them all down.
My heart is still bit-botting lor.

My mind is running very madly now
A million butterflies are ramming around in my belly, I expect it to multiply by another 1000 tomorrow, and at 4.15pm, I believe my heart will stop palpitating.
Please bless me that my brain is in proper working condition and pray hard that I will not deliver any nonsense verbal rubbish tomorrow.
Gosh! It's a dream come true!
If I ain't dead from too much butterflies in my stomach, I will do an update.
Faithful passengers of FlightSQ047 will know why I am behaving so neurotic.
Shit, I need a 定心丸。

Restart
I had some memories flashback, and can't help but feeling regret at the choices I made for my life...
How I wish I could restart my life like the computer power on/off button.
Am I born like this or I made myself into this?
Would I become a better person if I had been firm with myself?
